We were three generations who spent four fun-filled days and nights.Off the property we lunched in Wellington at a great little spot overlooking Lake Ontario (Drake), spent a morning at North Beach on the other side of Consecon, bicycled along the millennial trail in both directions as well as up to Ameliasburg, and grocery shopped in Trenton where we had ice cream cones at The Parlour the size of our heads (almost!) Also stopped at our favorite local bakery in Carrying Place (Faun Over) for a yummy pizza lunch and some take away raspberry scones.At the property on the lake, we enjoyed floating on our floating toys, kayaking and building a swim-up bar at the dock; in the huge flat back yard, we created our very own Olympic race course, played baseball and bocci, and built fires every night. The deck was perfect for family meals and nightly Bbq.So much to love about this place - spacious, clean open rooms inside with great appliances and well appointed kitchen with an amazing backyard playground - all so close to beautiful Prince Edward Country - we ran out of time before we could see all we wanted to see.
