The owner was easy to work with and responsive. The grounds were beautiful and serene. The unit was accessed from the outside, in the rear of the house. There is a gravel pathway with rocks that you must pull your luggage over along the side and back of the house. We are 4 people up in our 70s and it was next to impossible to get out luggage pulled thru the thick gravel. The beds had a bottom sheet and a comforter only. No top sheet or blanket. We were uncomfortable with this, not knowing how often the comforters were washed. There were no washcloths or hand towels provided. We had to buy some. There was no TV in the unit, which should have been pointed out in the listing. There was a plumbing issue and the owner responded promptly, however it necessitated us all sharing the master bath until the next day. This was definitely awkward. When taking back to back showers, we ran out of hot water. The house was upscale, but the suite contained odds and ends of mismatched furniture. The coffee maker was not clean. This property should disclose the need to pull one’s heavy luggage thru thick gravel, as not all travelers are capable of doing so.
