Step away from noise and traffic of Waikiki and join us in heavenly Hahaione valley. This quiet home is just minutes from Moanalua bay, a must for the water the water sports enthusiast and Hanauma bay marine reserve, one of the worlds most famous snorkeling spots! Safeway, Costco and Koko Marina shopping center also round out our neighborhood along with many other local treasures, not to mention the original Roy’s! We are just a short 10-15 min drive to Sea Life park, Makapu’u light house and Sandy Beach!

You will enjoy a 1330 sqft two bedroom, two bathroom home. The master bedroom includes a Cal-king with en-suite bath including jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. A queen and single day bed complete the large second bedroom. A\C in all rooms!The Lower-level of large house which adjoins conservation land with hiking trail at the end of the street so there are no side or back neighbors. Our 15x30ft pool is just the ticket for cooling off at the end of long day or working on your tan in one of the lawn chairs.

Tropical Paradise

A must stay

Bill & Stacy were phenomenal hosts. They were more than accommodating, provided excellent recommendations, & were super responsive. The property itself was super clean & private. We’d definitely stay here again & would highly recommend to others!

Quiet and comfortable home away from home

We stayed for the month of February in this quiet, spacious and well appointed ground level appartment. We had the use of quite a large size pool and my husband used it almost every day to swim laps. The owners, Bill and Stacey and their two teenagers live upstairs. They were supper nice, welcoming and very quiet. The house is located at the end of the street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Grocery stores ( Costco, Safeway) Longs Drugs, Ross are 5 minutes away by car. There are some restaurants close by as well. We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to come back again.

Hawaii Kai Ideal and Peaceful location

Not possible to get closer to the beautiful mountains on Oahu - just behind this delightful property on a hill. Hosts very welcoming, easy check-in even on New Year's Eve, though early to bed not possible with fireworks all over the island. But it was worth it for pyrotechnics display from the air approaching HNL. Others have noted lovely pool and the amazing "Mrs. Taylors" fresh eggs supplied by our hosts. Also note the house is well equipped with kitchen gear, beach chairs and towels, best ever umbrella, cooler, beach bag and sand toys. Very comfy beds with quality linens plus great sofa and reading chairs in two rooms. This spacious apartment has a flat screen TV in living room (and one in the MBR) above a cabinet well stocked with books, DVDs, games and a puzzle for rainy days. Hawaii Kai very convenient for stores and eateries. Don't miss Mrs Leonards truck for hot malasadas (donuts)! Easy access to beaches, water sports options and scenery. We had a wonderful time driving and stopping all over the island, whales sighted from Sandy Beach, and other memorable moments almost every day. Car essential for this property. Even Honolulu city driving not as fearsome as we read...we returned often to swim at Ala Moana Beach, ample parking every time. We used Turo car rental which was great. Enjoyed our month in paradise - we will be back. Thank you Bill and Stacey for excellent advice, quick response to our needs and making us feel at home.

10 Wonderful Days on Oahu

My family and I felt lucky to be able to stay in such a great rental while visiting Oahu. Clean, comfortable, spacious and great location. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful Place to Stay

This property is a beautiful location on Oahu. Great sights and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Not far from the city but still feel like you are more in the local area of the island. Just note that if you have more than 2 people there is a $50 extra charge each day for those extra people.

Wonderful Property in a Quiet Neighborhood.

We stayed a month and it felt like home. Spacious, comfortable home, with a well-equipped, full-sized kitchen. Cool mountain breezes meant we never needed to use the AC. The owners are on-site and will provide both help when needed (plus fresh eggs!) while respecting your privacy. Use of the pool was a nice plus. Lots of shopping near by and easy access to both downtown Honolulu and the windward side.

Quiet and Convenient

Chose this VRBO because it was close to where my daughter lives and we were coming for our granddaughters HS graduation. It was everything advertised and more. Spacious and so tastefully decorated. And stocked with many kitchen amenities. They even left fresh eggs from their laying hens for me. Would love to come back again. Thank you Bill and Stacey

Peaceful Place

I love staying here because it’s got everything I need with 2 bedrooms, washer/dryer, parking, and a pool. Plus, it’s a the quiet end of a neighborhood street. It feels much more like I’m living like a local than staying in a busy hotel, but still a short drive away from most of the things I love to do…like hike up Makapu to see the sunrise.

Nice and quiet area

This was a wonderful home. The owners live in the top half of the house and we stay in the bottom half. It is a nice and quiet area and we felt very safe and comfortable. Great experience. Would highly recommend staying here.

Hawaiian retreat

Would recommend highly but not for people with arthritis in knees or back. Property at a steep incline. We were blessed with eggs from the owner by her chickens. The hosts are great about respecting your privacy!

Lovely base for Oahu vacation

This spacious, well-appointed, comfortable apartment was perfect for our trip. We enjoyed the owners' beautiful garden and the use of the pool. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the location is great for visiting restaurants, beaches, and cultural and historical sites from Honolulu to Kailua.

Truly a 'Home Away from Home'

Hosts Bill and Stacey are most accommodating and helpful. They go above and beyond to insure your stay is relaxing and tailored to you. The living quarters are clean, spacious, and well stocked. We definitely would welcome a return if the opportunity presents itself.

Comfortable and spacious Hawaiian Hideaway

Bill and Stacey's SeaBreeze vacation rental was a great choice for my husband and me. It was an easy 30 minute drive into Honolulu where our son lives but far enough out of the bustle to give us a sense of peace and quiet. Beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and the epic Makapu'u hike are within a few miles. We had planned to use public transportation but found that would not be an easy option so I recommend having a car at your disposal. The unit is large and beautifully appointed. Bill responded quickly to our questions and needs. Fresh eggs from the girls out back was a delightful bonus. And having a pool outside the backdoor was a definite plus!

Perfect quiet vacation hideaway

We choose this place because it was away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. This is a spacious apartment with plenty of room for two couples or a small family. This was a very nice, quiet, comfortable get away, that was only 10 minutes from anything you would need. Several great restaurants (including a Leonards Bakery Truck) as well as a grocery store and even Costco are so close. You can also be at a beautiful beach in 10 minutes. You are also only 25 minutes away from the attractions in Honolulu. Bill and Stacey were very there if we needed anything and their Aloha ambassador Lily the cat greeted us every day. It was a fabulous trip.

Beautiful stay in Hawaii Kai

My husband and I spent two weeks at this lovely lower-level apartment in Hawaii Kai. The owners, Stacey and Bill, were helpful, kind, and communicative. The house was very clean upon arrival, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay -- including beach towels, chairs and an umbrella. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet and peaceful, and the home reflected this peaceful environment. The owners gave us several eggs from their chickens, and we enjoyed petting Lilly - their adorable outdoor cat, who welcomed us home every evening. The neighborhood feels truly "away from it all"-- and is close to several beautiful hiking trails, including one that's just behind the house. Staying here allowed us to truly get away from it all -- and we hope to return in the future! Mahalo, Stacey and Bill!

Home away from home!

Bill and Stacey’s are so welcoming and their property was perfect for us. We were having Thanksgiving with family for the first time in fifteen years so we wanted a home environment. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a big dinner. The bedrooms were spacious! Lots of closet space with plenty of hangers. Large bathrooms with stocked linen closet and big vanity. We loved the beautiful landscaping and really enjoyed the pool! The only downfall was we couldn’t take Lilly, the cat, home with us. She it the house greeter and is so sweet and cute! Thank you Bill and Stacey for making our stay so wonderful! We will definitely be back.!

Hawaii Kai great rental

Host were accessible, pleasant and helpful. The accommodations were great; clean, firm mattress, and fully supplied of everything including beach accoutrements. Although we didn't use the pool, it was clean and inviting. We would stay here again.

Comfortable and luxurious

We had lots of space to relax and a pool to ourselves. The kitchen and baths were equipped with everything we needed. We would come back again in a heartbeat. The air conditioning was a useful feature. Bill and Stacey were gracious hosts and treated us to a dozen eggs from their chickens. Quiet neighborhood, close to groceries. You need to drive if you want a swimming beach.

Perfect

Everything was perfect & easy start to finish. Bill & Stacey are very responsive to any questions or concerns that you may have prior to your arrival and during your stay (not that we had any during our stay but the lines of communication were always open). The property was in the perfect location - far enough away from the "tourist" areas but close enough to enjoy everything you would want to. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. We had an amazing time and this property helped make that possible.

We have lived in Hawaii for over 18 years and loved every minute of it. My husband is retired Coast Guard and I teach art a local private school (I have the best job in the world!). We have two children, two cats and the “girls” (our chickens).
This photo is our family hiking Maunawili falls. A super fun and muddy hike over on the Kailua area about 30 minutes from here. There is a great swimming hole at the end of the hike!

I love our home! It’s so quiet. We are the last house on the street, up against the valley and reserve land with no neighbors to the rear or west of us.
