This was a very disappointing stay due to poor communication and mismanagement by the host representatives.When I arrived, I was not given the one-bedroom unit that was rented for me. I later learned that the property had overbooked the one-bedroom rooms. Instead, I was placed in a two-bedroom handicap-accessible unit, which was not what I rented or needed. The bathroom, shower, and kitchen were designed for wheelchair access, which significantly affected my comfort and usability.Jenny, the on-site host representative, never responded to my texts, calls, or requests to meet—before or after this issue came up. I received no explanation or assistance from her at any point. When I asked about a refund, I was told I would have to turn in my key and wait for Vrbo to process it, which was not practical.The room was booked by my employer for work travel about a week in advance. I work long hours—often before the office opened and returning after it closed—so relocating on short notice was extremely difficult. I did not have time to search for another place or request additional funds from my company.Liam, the out-of-state host, eventually contacted me and suggested unlocking the other bedroom in the unit, which made no sense given the situation. The office staff I interacted with were condescending and dismissive of my concerns.Overall, this experience showed a lack of accountability, communication, and basic guest support. I would not recommend this property.
