Wombat Hideaway by Tiny Away is a family-friendly getaway in Laguna, just an hour’s drive from the Central Coast beaches and Newcastle. This tiny house sits in a tranquil valley filled with caves, wombats, and kangaroos. Surrounded by one million hectares of untouched national park, it offers a serene backdrop for quiet reflection, fresh air, and a deeper connection to nature.
Ready to explore further? Yengo National Park offers captivating trails, hidden caves, and breathtaking views from Finchley Lookout. Nearby Boree Valley is celebrated as the "Womb of Creation," while Mount Yengo is a sacred site where the ancestral creator is believed to have rested.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and are welcome to explore the entire surrounding valley.

Getting Around:
By car:
- 2 hours from Sydney, Newcastle, Cessnock, and Gosford. Accessible with a 2WD vehicle.
- There is a shallow creek crossing along the way, which a small car like a Toyota Yaris can easily navigate.
By public transportation:
- No public transport

- Wi-Fi is not available at the moment
- Pets Allowed with an additional fee of $50 (regardless how many pets or nights)
- Free Potable water
- Family and child-friendly
- A Gas BBQ grill is provided, we are charging $50 for the extra cleaning fee for BBQ grill
- No mobile network coverage available
- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed
- No smoking inside the tiny home, except outdoors
- Kindly keep noise to a minimum and avoid loud parties
