The Ridgewood House is a historic Jersey Shore Inn built in 1873, located in beautiful Sea Girt, NJ. The property is in a perfect location featuring a wrap-around porch with beautiful ocean views, a well-manicured and landscaped property, and a sprawling estate walking distance to the most beautiful beaches in NJ. This listing is for the "Royal Suite," a private 2-room 1 bath suite on the 1st floor of the main building. The suite features a king bed, queen sofa bed, full bath and private porch.

The space is a 2 room suite, plus a private kitchen. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a queen sofa bed. The 2 rooms are separated by pocket doors. There is a full bath and access to an outdoor shower in the back yard. There is a private porch with private access. The suite comes with a private kitchen, which is located just down the hall on the 1st floor.

Weekend getaway

This place was so charming from the welcoming front porch and sitting room both with ocean front views to the spacious suite and the beautiful landscaping. I highly recommend this place if you ever need a quaint place to stay in the shore area.

Fantastic bnb across from the beach

Came for a weekend stay and had a great time. Beautiful bnb, perfectly located across from the beach and owner was very accommodating for the few questions we had. Would highly recommend and definitely hope to go back!

Nice spot for a getaway!

Property was very clean and has everything you need for a nice getaway. Host was very welcoming. Our dog was able to stay with us, which was great. He was comfortable as well. Would highly recommend the Royal Suite!

Wonderful stay in Sea Girt

My second time staying here with my 2 daughters and we loved it! Gorgeous historic home with high ceilings, pocket doors and a view of the ocean from the front porch. Owner very accommodating- thank you for a lovely stay!

Ridgeview Inn’s Royal Suite

Very much appreciated the easy, effective entry into the inn and the suite, all of which was explained clearly in the listing. Loved the location, cleanliness, availability of kitchen appliances, pots, pans, etc. ( maybe add a portable hand mixer for baking). Grateful to Sean for being so accommodating and accessible during our stay. We would stay in the Royal Suite again. Thank you, Sean!

Lovely retreat!

Ridgewood House provided us with a lovely, quiet, historic retreat on the Jersey shore. Excellent proximity to several coastal towns and excellent restaurants. The Royal Suite was very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. We were grateful for Sean’s hospitality and highly recommend! Thank you Sean!

Very spacious

We were VERY pleased with the suite - nice and roomy. We all had space to enjoy unlike other rentals in the past. Our dog is 100 lbs, and even she had room to spread out. Great having the kitchen down the hall - and also the access to the rooms via the porch area. Highly recommend and may do a return trip in the Fall.

Relaxing Weekend in Sea Girt

The suite was roomy. It had everything you could need. Well stocked paper supplies in bath and kitchen. The private kitchen with a full size fridge was a nice bonus. Parking was easy. Had a great weekend!

Magical old home - one block from beach

Very clean and decorated to taste with a modern bathroom. You might not feel privacy as there are other tenants in the house, but you get your own full kitchen, a nice large living room, large bedroom with TV in each room. Add to that your own balcony and BBQ grill. Would be a prime choice for us if we ever chose to go back to the area.

The Best Beach Place in NJ

Great place and hosts were awesome! Very historic property in a perfect location. Spacious and gracious for anyone looking for quite place to enjoy the beach, and enjoy some social time with other guests in he house. We will be back every year from now on.

Relaxing and homey

This was my new family's first trip and I'm so happy I got it right with the choice of town and place to stay. When we first got there the light bulb blew out and Sean came to change it out. Also, it was between 75 and 80 degrees a few times and he came to adjust that as well. That was the only minor issue, was that it stayed between 75 and 80 degrees because it is an old house, so next time I will definitely be bringing some powerful little fans. Parking was easy and accommodating. The town and people are so nice and pleasant. The beach is literally right there, so at night it is very peaceful and sleep inducing, sitting outside on the porch and just listening to the waves crash. Privately, accessible kitchen, which we took full advantage of. Having access to 2 grills on the property is nice as well. My almost 2 year old son had so much fun running around and adopting some new grandparents for the length of his stay haha. We will definitely be back.

Weclome pandemic getaway

It had been over a year since we'd seen family, and we decided to book a Jersey Shore getaway while we worked and schooled remotely the week leading up to Memorial Day weekend. Sean was an amazing communicator. We were delighted to be a block away from the beach. While we did encounter the usual pre-season prep w. landscaping, powerwashing and handy crews working full days, we were thankful to spend time at the shore pre-season before most folks arrived. Our week-long stay was much welcome. Sean and his guys were great about us having guests during the week too. They were super attentive to our needs whether it was extra towels, a new lightbulb or the wifi going out for a hot second. We loved having private access to a kitchen and our part of the terrace too. The private suite was fine for our family of three plus a dog. We will definitely keep The Ridgewood House on our list of go-to homes.

Absolutely perfect!!

I loved everything about our stay and the property. I find the beach in winter to be relaxing and rejuvenating. Quiet and peaceful. The house is beautifully appointed and situated with a view of the ocean from the expansive front porch. I plan on returning in the future. I highly recommend this property and Sean, the property manager, was attentive, responsive and very accomdatimg. Thank you!

Perfect stay at beach

This suite was a wonderful short getaway for myself and 2 children. Owner very quickly responded to our questions. Very clean, comfortable room, family room and bathroom. Loved sitting on front porch and watching ocean! Lovely period details in suite such as pocket doors, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Very close to the beach.
