Family Adventure Home in Park with Climbing + Biking
Stay in our bright cozy family home with mountain views. In a quiet neighborhood within Smoke Bluffs park with immediate access to endless hiking and biking trails and climbing routes.
An hour to Whistler village. 5 min drive/25 min walk downtown. Close to Sea to sky gondola, Stawamus Chief.
We are offering our entire 3 bedroom + flex room 2-bath kid-friendly home while away. We expect it has everything you need for your stay in Squamish.
Registered and licensed with district of Squamish.
The space
This is our loved family home. It is located in the Hospital Hill neighborhood, right in the Smoke Bluffs Park with immediate access to trails.
There are four private spaces to sleep: 1) a master bedroom with full ensuite (upstairs), 2) a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, 3) a third bedroom with a twin trundle bed (two beds), and 4) a couch that converts into a (comfortable!) queen-sized bed downstairs. There is a second full bathroom upstairs. Most of the living space is upstairs. There is no bathroom downstairs so the bedroom downstairs wouldn't be ideal for someone that struggles with stairs. Note that the stairs are open but do have railings.
Note or 2026: A few updates have been made since the posted photos were taken. The single floor bed in the kids room has been replaced with a single trundle bed (two mattresses). A new bed has also been purchased for the second bedroom. Photos will be added soon.
The living room is very cozy with a large area rug, two couches, and a natural gas fireplace that produces a lot of heat. In the dining room the table can be extended to seat 8 comfortably, and up to 10 in a squeeze. There is another small 2-person table in the kitchen and a breakfast bar that can seat 2. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all dishes, basic condiments, and espresso machine, and dishwasher.
There is a deck with a small seating area and BBQ off the kitchen that looks out to our garden and greenhouse. If you time your stay right there may be fresh vegetables available for picking! The Smoke Bluffs park is directly behind our garden and you may hear rock climbers through the trees on sunny days while enjoying your coffee on the patio. The climb "spiderfly" is right above the greenhouse.
For the cool seasons there are heated floors throughout the house, including in the bathrooms, in addition to central heat and the natural gas fireplace. There is central air conditioning for the summer months.
There is a washer and dryer downstairs, racks for drying gear and a boot dryer. There is a closet downstairs and space under the stairs for storing gear (skis, bikes, climbing gear, etc.) but we ask that you keep gear clean when bringing it inside. There is a hose in the back of the house if needed.
Parking is available on site.
Note that we also operate a clinic in the suite below our house. My husband is the primary practitioner and we will be away so it will be quiet. However, there will be a registered massage therapist and an osteopath working occasionally. You could easily just book online and pop down for an appointment :)
