Earles Place is a unique and tranquil beach house showcasing one of the best views in Raglan. Uninterrupted Manu Bay to your left and Ngarunui Beach to your right with expansive views of the Tasman Sea everywhere in between! If you`re in town to surf, relax at the beach or just admire the beautiful coastline, then this is the one for you.

Offering an open plan interior, expansive decking, three stylishly decorated bedrooms and one bathroom, this cozy coastal haven is suitable for families, friends, and couples seeking a relaxing break. The property borders a native reserve and you can directly access the beach only a short walk away, down through the native canopy.

Upstairs are two loft style rooms - A queen room with a private balcony deck, and a double room accessed by a timber walkway between the two. These two bedrooms are an open mezzanine to the downstairs and to each other with no dividing walls. The timber walkway separates the two rooms to create the private space. The master bedroom has uninterrupted panoramic views of the coastline – an incredible view to wake up to.

The house is full of coastal charm with high ceilings, beautiful timber beams and large windows to take in those ocean views.

Downstairs you will find the third private bedroom with two single beds. This allows the beach house to accommodate up to six guests.

The kitchen is beach style, in keeping with the property, with a wooden breakfast bar, gas hob, bench top oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, plunger coffee maker and fridge/freezer plus all the essentials for easy beach cooking.

The dining area is furnished with a glass round dining table and a corner bench seat. The living area is comfortably decorated with two sofas and furnishings, and large windows allowing the space to be flooded with natural light.

Ranch sliders from the kitchen and lounge open out to a large elevated timber deck where you will find a BBQ and outdoor dining table for 6 guests under a covered canopy, making the position the perfect place to enjoy a meal and cool beverage looking over the renowned point break Manu Bay, after a day exploring Raglan.

You`ll find direct access to the beach walkway at the top of the driveway.

The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, hand basin, and tucked to the side is a washing machine to use during your stay.

Property includes: Linen, towels, shampoo, body wash, soap, tea, coffee, dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and gas for BBQ.

You will have access to the entire house, outdoor area, and double parking space for your stay.

The house is located in a residential area at the end of a private cul-de-sac, very close to Manu bay, (about 8 minutes drive past Raglan township), and a short walk down to the main beach at Raglan down a native walkway.

Raglan has something for everyone. And this home is ideally located to explore the local area.

The vibrant café and arts scene in Raglan township is just a short drive away. There’s a wealth of delicious dining options to choose from, along with specialist arts and crafts shops to explore. Also within easy reach are the supermarket and shopping facilities.

Experienced Surfers will love the big waves at world-famous Manu Bay. And Ngarunui Beach is a favorite for families that enjoy the more mellow West coast wave action.

Nearby Cox Bay (8-minute walk) and Lorenzen Bay (10-minute walk) are great spots for swimming, kayaking and body boarding or just relaxing in the sunshine. You may even get lucky and spot one of the orcas that regularly come to visit the bays.

For those wanting a change from all that sea and sand, there are many excellent walking tracks and we include details of these in the house information folder. Within easy reach are the Mt Karioi summit tracks or Te Toto Gorge track.

For slightly further afield adventures, a short drive will take you to the surf beach, point breaks, mountain bike tracks and walking tracks.

Boutique art galleries and specialist craft shops abound in the township. And with golf, mini-putt, fishing and the spectacular sunset harbour cruise, there really is something for everyone in wonderful Raglan.

Do as much or as little as you want – the choice is yours. Raglan is a fantastic holiday destination any time of year.

Please note that the two queen bedrooms are on an open mezzanine floor with no enclosed walls between each other or the downstairs living space. The 2 bedrooms are separated by a timber walkway to create private sleeping space.

Please take care with children on the timber mezzanine walkway and ensure they do not climb on the timber bannisters.

Guests will need to take extra care on the deck as there are stairs that step down to a lower deck level so care is needed when stepping down due to the risk of a fall.

Free Wi-Fi is included, and the Smart TV is internet based apps only which you require your own log in details for - Netflix, Neon, You Tube, On Demand etc.

Please note there is no dishwasher in the kitchen.

No more than the number of guests booked, to a maximum of six. Additional charges will apply if you exceed the number booked.

We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct.

We are unable to host pets at this property.

Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure.

Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.

For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.

All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.

A Weber BBQ is available for use during your stay. Please clean with the appropriate supplied cleaner after use. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the BBQ is found dirty.

Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder).

Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of $25 per box will be applied for disposal.

Electric Vehicle Charging - We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location in Raglan town centre next to the town hall on Bow Street.

For any personal belonging/s that are left at the property, there is a $20 (regardless of size) minimum return fee + courier bag/packaging.

Please note there is a motion sensored security camera at the entrance door. These devices are for the security of the property, but if there is reason to suspect misconduct from guests, the footage and data can be reviewed.

Our cancellation policy offers a full refund up to 5 days before arrival. After that you receive 50% of the booking plus cleaning fee, less the first night.
