Experience the charm of one of Rangitahi Peninsula`s original homesteads. This spacious 4-bedroom, 2 bathroom, waterfront home, offers all the perks of Raglan Town - a short drive to Raglans cafes and restaurants, while maintaining utmost privacy amidst beautiful, established gardens and your very own private water access. Nestled at the end of the tranquil Mara Kai Lane, this home is a true oasis.
This beautifully adorned abode is an ideal destination for families or groups seeking a memorable vacation. Ample room to accommodate your boat, jet ski, or any other adventure equipment. The true gem lies in the breathtaking water vista that greets you upon arrival at this stunning home.
Step inside and be greeted by a delightful open plan kitchen & dining complete with french doors on either side that expand onto the choice of two outdoor entertainment and BBQ areas.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and utensils. And for the essential morning brew, a barista grade coffee machine is all yours to use during your stay. A large indoor dining table allows dining for 8 guests plus there is additional outdoor table on the covered front deck.
The lounge room is equipped with a smart TV , wood burning fire and large L-shaped couch that comfortably seats 8 people. Plus additional occasional chairs perfect for enjoying the view or a book.
The Master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are located in its own wing off the kitchen/dining area. The large master ensuite bathroom hosts a spacious double bath with bi-fold windows opening onto lush native greenery. The perfect spot to grab your glass of fiz and soak the hours away. The master bedroom itself has a king size bed, large walk in wardrobe and its own sofa where you can find some quiet and enjoy a book.
In the second wing you will find the other three bedrooms plus main bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed with french doors opening to the tranquil front lawn and water view.
Bedroom 3 has 2 x single beds and Bedroom 4 has a superking bed.
All beds come with quality linens and are made ready for your arrival.
These three bedrooms share a contemporary family bathroom with both a shower and bathtub. There is a separate toilet room with additional vanity.
Outside you will find a stunning covered deck - the perfect spot to enjoy family dinners al fresco with a peaceful water view. The large lawn is the perfect place for the kids to run off their energy.
A selection of hammocks and bean bags are provided and can be set up on the covered deck or down in the pear tree overlocking the harbour.
On the other side of the house you will find a sheltered courtyard - perfect spot for BBQ`ing plus an outdoor shower to rinse off after your beach adventures.
Bring your paddle board and explore the harbour - this is the ultimate Raglan dream. A two minute stroll to the Rangitahi bridge offers water access into the harbour. When you are finished exploring you can rinse off in the outdoor shower located by the main door of the house.

Mara Kai is located over the new bridge on the Rangitahi peninsula. A private retreat but still walking distance to Raglan town where you will find a selection of amazing cafes and coffee shops, yoga and pilates studios, restaurants, supermarkets and independent shops with local artisan goods.
Raglan has something for everyone. And this home is ideally located to explore the local area.
Surfers will love the big waves at world-famous Manu Bay. Nearby Cox Bay and Lorenzen Bay are great spots for swimming, kayaking and body boarding or just relaxing in the sunshine. You may even get lucky and spot one of the orcas that regularly come to visit the bays.
Also on offer in Raglan is fantastic bushwalking, golf, mini putt and, of course, plenty of fishing.
The vibrant café and arts scene in Raglan township is just a short drive away. There’s a wealth of delicious dining options to choose from, along with specialist arts and crafts shops to explore. Also within easy reach are the supermarket and shopping facilities.
Do as much or as little as you want – the choice is yours. Raglan is a fantastic holiday destination any time of year.

Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.
For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.
All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.
We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct.
Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure.
No more than the number of guests booked, to a maximum of 8. Additional charges will apply if you exceed the number booked.
Residential area - Noise curfew from 10pm to 9am.
A BBQ is available for use during your stay. Please clean with the appropriate supplied cleaner after use. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the BBQ is found dirty.
Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder) or an additional charge of $25 per bag will be applied for disposal.
Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of $25 per box will be applied for disposal.
Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the town hall on Bow Street.
For any personal belonging/s that are left at the property, there is a $20 (regardless of size) minimum return fee + courier bag/packaging. This is to cover travel and time to the post office + administering the return money request.
