The Owner’s Cottage is a secluded, garden-set hideaway at Treghan Luxury Lodge, offering rare privacy just minutes from the heart of Kerikeri. Although close to town, the cottage feels quietly rural – surrounded by mature trees, lawns and gardens, with birdsong and greenery setting the tone rather than traffic or neighbours.



Positioned within its own garden area, the cottage enjoys a sense of independence while still having easy access to the wider Treghan grounds. Guests often comment on the feeling of being “in the middle of the country”, despite cafés, vineyards and the Kerikeri township being only a short drive away.



Inside, the cottage is warm and welcoming, designed for couples or solo travellers who value comfort and calm. A generous bedroom with a king bed, a relaxed living area and a well-appointed kitchenette make it ideal for longer, slower stays. Thoughtful breakfast provisions are provided, including homemade granola, eggs, fresh fruit, breads and preserves, along with tea, plunger coffee and a few sweet treats.



French doors open onto a private deck and garden, perfect for morning coffee, reading in the shade or unwinding at the end of the day. Guests are welcome to explore Treghan’s wider gardens and grounds, while still enjoying the privacy of their own space.



The cottage is fully self-contained with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, all condiments and crockery you could need and parking beside the cottage.
