This property is awful.
They advertise free parking, but failed to provide a parking permit as promised, and then towed my car from the property for a lack of permit, resulting in direct expenses of over $300 on my stay (plus the hassle of having to retrieve our rental car from the worlds sketchiest tow lot). This was after I communicated with the host about the missing parking permit, which was never provided for the duration of my stay.
In addition, the unit does not meet basic standards for the US (there is a sign indicating a $1000 fine for flushing toilet paper down the toilet). Sorry, but that is part of a minimally functional bathroom in the US, and it's not acceptable to pretend otherwise). The shower door had only 1 of the 2 door panels so it could not be closed, and we had to specially request a bath mat so as not to just drench the bathroom floor. The front door was difficult to close and lock because the lock was positioned too close to the door frame.
Booking was also a hassle. I booked on Expedia expecting a nice simple process, but ended up having to submit payment and registration details to multiple other websites (superhog, werent, vrbo), and the total paid did not match up with the total shown from Expedia. Further, the property charged a $100 deposit, not the $50 indicated on the listing, and still have not refunded that deposit nearly a week later.
Overall, this was the worst stay I have had in at least 10 years.
