Surfers' Oasis is your home away from home. It's the perfect haven for anyone who wants to escape to the waves and find serenity. We recently paired up with a designer and a professional photographer to create a beautiful coastal retreat. Just a short walk to the beach, our little slice of heaven is a great home base for surfers, beach enthusiasts, families, friends and those just looking to put down their phones and live the island life.

Surfers' Oasis got its name for its prime location. It sits just steps away from the beach with direct access to some of the best surfing spots on Hatteras Island. Just feet from the Rodanthe pier, this area is known for great waves and large swells making it a favorite for surfer enthusiasts. Come enjoy this spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage that can sleep 8 people. Our home contains a very spacious king master bedroom with private bath. 2 queen bedrooms and a kid's room with a full/twin bunk combo and pull-out trundle. You can catch the amazing views from the 6 person hot tub on the sun deck that overlooks the dunes leading to the beach access. For those that cannot seem to escape the office, please use our Wifi Internet. On the rainy days, chill out and choose a game from our collection for a family game night or catch a movie on our 50" HD TV or plan . This home has it all and the possibilities are endless. Use the charcoal grill on the deck for a steak or fresh catch after you use the fish cleaning station and screened-in picnic area under the home. After your meal, unwind in our shaded swing under the home. An outside shower will do just the trick after playing in the sand all day or first thing in the morning. Check out just a few of the extra bonuses included with your rental: linens, bath and beach towels, dish and laundry detergent and fabric softener at no extra charge! Whether you pack light or heavy, feel free to use our washer and dryer. Just bring your basic necessities and leave your cares at home.

Spring Break Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back! The owners are extremely responsive to any questions we have had prior to arrival and while we were there. I would recommend this house as a vacation stay!

Enjoyable vacation

Very nice. Organized well maintained. Would recommend to anyone to stay there from friends, family members and other people. Enjoy the house, atmosphere and loved the hot tube.

Relaxing stay at Surfers Oasis

What an amazing house and time we had staying at Surfers Oasis. This was exactly what we needed. The town was great, quiet, and friendly locals. The house was a stones throw from the amazing beach! Danica and Ron were attentive and responsive when we had questions. They even told us about a live music event happening on the pier. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend staying at Surfers Oasis!

Great Outer Banks getaway!

The Beach Breezes was wonderful!!

the trip to Rodanthe was wonderful. Communication with the homeowner was perfect and our stay was excellent. The property is just steps away from the beach and walking to the local coffee shop, pier, etc was easy. We spent a relaxing time in the hot tub each evening! Everything was clean and comfortable. Great relaxing stay

House is in a great location. Steps off of the beach and a good midpoint between Buxton and Nags Head areas. House was clean and comfortable. Having towels and bed linens was great. Check out instructions were simple. Communication with host was quick and easy. Really a great stay.

Loved our stay!

We loved staying here, it meet all our needs and was so clean when we arrived. It was the first place i can honestly say had very comfy beds with the fluffiest pillows i have stayed at. Area was great we were very close to beach access and it wasnt over crowded. There is a great pizza place within walking distance as well as coffee. The owners were great at sending me a list of things to do before hand. I definitely recommend this house for a quiet stay at the beach.

Great all around!

This is our second stay here and we had a great time! The house is great - very close to the beach and the pier. We walked to the coffee shop in the morning (Beads and Beans - best coffee and pastries!). Plenty of room for our family. The hot tub was very clean and easily the nicest one we’ve had at a beach rental. We will definitely be back!

Clean and convenient

House was one of the cleanest and best stocked I’ve ever stayed at on the OBX. I know it’s silly, but it’s nice to have sharp knives, cutting boards, decent appliances, etc in the kitchen. Owners were responsive, and check in couldn’t have been any easier.

Wonderful!

My family really enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean with beautiful, modern furnishings and plenty of room. We were especially grateful for the oversized dining table that provided plenty of room for meals, games, and puzzles. Wonderful location in Rodanthe and very close to the pier. Host was very responsive to questions. Would stay here again!!!

Great place right next to the beach.

What a great home just a stones throw from the beach. Only a few blocks from the peir too. We came to fish in the spring and loved the house. The hot tub was great to soothe the back after hauling in all the fish. Overall the house was great and I'd definitely stay here again. The host was prompt to answer all communication as well.

Best vacation! Did not want to leave

The house is located very close to the beach and u can hear waves crashing while u sit in the hot tub in the evening. Everything was very clean and thought through and the owners communicated very fast multiple times to answer questions and just check in with us if we needed anything. It was our best vacation and we try to go to obx every year. Thank you Ronnie and Danica!

Family Beach Getaway

The house is lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed! We enjoyed easy beach access only a short walk away. There was some construction happening next door and across the street which was a bit noisy, but we were at the beach much of the time so it wasn't too much of a bother. It is close by to both Cape Hatteras and Bodie Lighthouses, which we enjoyed seeing. A great place for a family with kids of all ages. Highly recommend! We would go back again.

We had an amazing time - again!

We loved everything! The house was very clean, beds and mattresses were very comfortable, TVs in all rooms and had everything for cooking! The hot tub is great and we used it every day. The house is very close to the beach and pet friendly. During rainy weather there is a large number of games - nice and fun ones, and books to read. Lisa’s pizza - one of the greatest pizzas you can get - is 5 min walk :) The hosts are very responsive if you have any questions. We loved everything and enjoyed the house and can’t wait to come back

It was clear from the beginning that the cabin was special to the owners. It was not only charming but located closer to the beach than we realized. We brought bikes but it was also close to a bike rental shop and a coffee shop. I had problems with the Verbo App so the owner spoke to me directly on the phone. Thank you for a nice vacation.

Best Relaxation

This house was absolutely perfect for our family/friends getaway for New Years Eve! The kitchen is well appointed and stocked with everything you need, very clean, well decorated and comfy, great TV/internet/smart TV options, located in the adorable town of Rodanthe. It’s a short drive to the hustle bustle Nags Head or a small drive with ferry ride to Okracoke Island. We have been coming to Outer Banks for over 30 years and fall in love with it again and again. We would definitely stay here again! The owners are very responsive to messaging or any concerns that may arise. We loved everything!

The property manager failed to inform me of a dog fee that was not mentioned anywhere on the listing. Otherwise, the home was a good size for 4 people and in a good location near beach access.

2 Minute Walk to the Beach

The hosts were so kind and communicated so well The entire time both leading up to and during the stay. The house was lovely and well stocked with essentials. We did have an issue with the dishwasher but the hosts had it fixed as quickly as possible. The beach was a short walk away that took very little time. Just be wary of the sandy hill that may not be the easiest walk for some people. The hottub was wonderful and seemed very clean. There were plenty of towels for all the guests, they even provided some beach towels which was so nice! All in all I had a lovely trip in this ocean breeze beach house!

This was our third time staying at this house. We love Rodanthe, and this home is just right for our little family, or a few more. It is a short walk to the beach or a walk down the road a bit to the sound side. The hosts, Danica and Ronnie were very welcoming and provided all of the information needed beforehand. They also checked in upon arrival to make sure everything was okay. Ronnie was super helpful during a power outage from a storm. The home is cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing week in the OBX. We can't wait to return next year!

We are Ronnie and Danica Petko and we have always enjoyed vacationing in the OBX and this year we decided to buy a house in Rodanthe. I am retired from the Navy and work as a contractor and Danica is a Pre-K teacher. We have two amazing children Madison and Isaac and we live in Virginia Beach. We love the ocean and want to share our home with you so you can love it as much as we do!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Rodanthe is the hidden gem of the OBX with charm and appeal. You have so many activities to do or you can just relax on the beach and or at the house. Rodanthe is on a small, thin section of Hatteras Island where the sound is just as accessible as the beach. We wanted a place close to the attractions but far enough away to feel like we were escaping from the hustle and bustle. We have found that in Rodanthe and we know you can as well.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There is nothing better than watching the ocean from your own hot tub. Whether you want to be in the sun, on our sundeck catching a few rays, or relaxing in the cool breeze on the swing in the shaded areas, you will have plenty to do or just sit and relax if you choose. Rodanthe is small enough town where many of the shops and attractions are within walking or biking distance. You will love it!!!
