Completely renovated 10th-floor apartment in Hobson Gardens — brand new kitchen, bathroom, double glazing, and window joinery, all finished in mid 2026. Ridiculously spacious at ~90m², warm, quiet, and elevated well above the city noise. Unobstructed west-facing views, 55` TV, modern appliances, gym and sauna on-site, and a secure car park included. The Sky Tower, Viaduct, and Victoria Park are minutes on foot. A genuinely fresh, home-like city retreat. What more could you want!

The apartment

Some apartments feel like hotel rooms. This one feels like a home — and that is entirely deliberate. At approximately 90 square metres, this is a genuinely spacious one-bedroom apartment, and the complete renovation completed in June 2026 means that every surface, every fitting, and every fixture is brand new. The result is a space that is warm, considered, and quiet in a way that most city apartments simply are not.

The new kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, quality cabinetry, and all the cookware and utensils you need for anything from a quick breakfast to a proper dinner in. The bathroom has been completely renovated to a high standard — fresh fittings, quality finishes, and the kind of clean, contemporary aesthetic that makes the daily routine genuinely pleasant. Throughout the apartment, new window joinery and double glazing do exactly what they promise: the 10th floor sits well above the street, and the double-glazed windows ensure that what little noise the city produces stays where it belongs — outside.

The living area is the apartment`s real surprise. Furnished more like a comfortable home than a serviced apartment, with a proper sofa set, dining table sitting 4, and a 55-inch Samsung Smart TV that dominates one wall in the most satisfying way, this is a space where you will actually want to spend time.
The bedroom is a genuine retreat — well sized, well furnished, and exceptionally quiet thanks to the double glazing and the 10th floor elevation. The building`s gym and sauna are available for use throughout your stay, adding a resort-quality amenity to what is already an excellent package. A secure car park is included, reserved for your use throughout your stay.

Hobson Gardens is a well-established, solidly built residential building on the western edge of the Auckland CBD. The building has a genuine residential community feel — well-maintained, properly managed, and attracting long-term tenants as well as short-stay guests. The gym and sauna are well-equipped and available exclusively to residents and guests. The building has secure entry, lift access to all floors, and the kind of building quality that means you notice the quiet rather than the noise.

The 10th floor position is the key to everything about this apartment. At this height, the street-level character of the immediate neighbourhood becomes entirely irrelevant — what you experience from the apartment is sky, views, and the elevated calm of being genuinely above it all. The double glazing reinforces this thoroughly.

The entire apartment is yours — bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, and one secure car park. Please note that access to the apartment is to the main living and bedroom areas only — one room within the apartment is locked and not available to guests. Full access to the building`s gym and sauna is included throughout your stay. The building has secure entry and lift access to all floors.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Full check-in instructions and key safe access details will be sent to you the day before your arrival so everything is clear before you get here. If you have any questions or encounter any issues on arrival, we are available and will respond promptly.

To ensure a smooth arrival, we ask all guests to complete a short online pre-check-in form and upload a valid government-issued photo ID before arriving — this takes just a couple of minutes. A private airport transfer can be arranged at additional cost with at least 48 hours notice — just get in touch when you book.

While we will leave you in peace to enjoy your time in Auckland, we are available 24 hours a day for an emergency.

Victoria Park — one of Auckland`s most beautiful and beloved inner-city green spaces, with its spectacular heritage brick chimney, lush lawns, weekend markets, and café culture — is a short, flat walk from the building. It is one of the most enjoyable morning walks in the city and a genuinely lovely place to spend an hour.
The Sky Tower and SkyCity complex are a 2-minute walk east along Hobson Street. The Viaduct Harbour`s waterfront dining and bar precinct is equally accessible, as are Wynyard Quarter and the North Wharf dining scene just a little further. Ponsonby Road — Auckland`s dining room — is a pleasant 15-minute walk west, or a short Uber ride for evenings when you want the full range of options. Karangahape Road, with its vibrant café, bar, and dining scene, is close by to the east.
The motorway network is immediately accessible for day trips — the apartment`s views look straight out over the interchange, which makes getting in and out of the city by car straightforward from this address. The Inner Link and Outer Link buses run nearby with frequent connections across the central suburbs throughout the day.

Auckland is easily explored from here. The Inner Link and Outer Link buses connect the central suburbs frequently, with stops a short walk from the building. The CBD — Sky Tower, Aotea Square, Britomart, and the waterfront — is all within walking distance. Uber and taxis are available at all hours. A secure car park is included with the apartment, and the motorway on-ramp is immediately nearby for day trips to the Coromandel, Northland, or anywhere further afield. Auckland Airport is approximately 25 to 35 minutes by car from this address — one of the more convenient CBD locations for airport access. Shuttles and rideshare options are available around the clock.

Weekly and monthly discount rates are available, and a 10% discount applies automatically to stays of 28 nights or more. This apartment is well suited to extended stays given the fully equipped new kitchen, in-apartment laundry, secure parking, and gym on-site. This is a non-smoking, no-vaping property throughout. No parties or events. Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Checkout is by 10:00 AM.

The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!
