Kidd Island (CDA) Lakefront Beauty-Amazing views!

Kidd Island Beauty is a perfect getaway in the summer or winter. In the summer use the shared dock to access the water by paddle to explore around peaceful Kidd Island Bay or bring your boat to adventure around the main lake. Sunbathe on the expansive upper deck or read in the shade of the lower deck. Both have amazing views of the water and CDA resort! In the winter, cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the view. If you are up for a little adventure downhill skiing is less than an hour away at Silver Mountain. There is great snowshoeing nearby on Tubbs Hill and cross country skiing at 4th ofJuly pass(about 45 mins away).

The fully stocked kitchen will make meal prep easy, just bring your favorite ingredients. Upstairs is a table that can comfortably seat the whole family as well as a nice island with barstools to sit and chat while meals are being prepped. Downstairs there is room for the kids to play or for everyone to cozy up and watch a movie. The firepit by the water is a perfect place to gather in the evening to roast marshmallows.

No matter the season the easy drive to downtown CDA puts loads of fun shops, restaurants, antiquing, and art galleries at your fingertips. There is a spa at the CDA resort along with elegant dining and stunning views. The floating boardwalk is a treat anytime, but especially during the holiday season when it is decorated with thousands of fun light displays.

Please note:

Our property is equipped with a doorbell camera as well as a camera that monitors the driveway.

Lake CdA has summer recreational water levels from approximately May 15th and begins to lower after Labor Day.

Such a wonderfully equipped home and a beautiful working chef's kitchen with all of the amenities. (Wonderful for coffee lovers too). And many attention to details. (We were delighted by the magical seasonal decor too.) Thank you to the host for beautiful welcome. Exceeds expectations. (I hate to do this stellar rating because I don't want other people to know about this place - nothing to see here....)

Very much appreciated our hostess, Danica, checking on us every once in a while to ensure everything ok. The property and area were very beautiful (website pictures don't do it justice); everything very clean and neat. Very large kitchen. My family agreed the beds very comfortable. Just a really nice experience.

Look no further this is THE house! We absolutely loved our stay! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The views were stunning, the location was perfect, and the space was so comfortable and inviting. The amenities made our trip seamless & extra easy - no running into town for garlic salt you forgot to buy or extra TP! Communication with the Danica was exceptional from start to finish. If we could give it 10 stars, we would! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in this beautiful city. We will be back!

House was stocked beyond measure. Beds comfortable. Boise way more spacious and nice then pics could show. Loved it all. Beds were great. Host was easy to talk to. Things that a guest (we) might have like to know. -water is not only shallow but tons of growth. You won't really swim at location. -parking is tricky, there really isn't anywhere to park a boat trailer legally. Worked out fine for us in the end but def a little nervous to park all week in 48 hour parking as a renter.

Beautiful home on Kidd Island Bay, Lake Coeur d’Alene

This home was the perfect size for our extended family of 10: 6 adults and 4 children 1-6 yrs old. Super clean, great living areas and bedrooms, Two decks with safety glass surrounds perfect for all ages. Hot tub was great, and so was the play room. Kitchen super well equipped, and an extra fridge for beverages was a bonus! Close to town for groceries etc. Only downside was the very shallow weed filled water off of the dock, which was not good for swimming, but plenty of kayaks provided for nice paddles in the sheltered bay (ok for speed boat access) Would definitely recommend this property!!!!

Mountain Lake Getaway

The property was gorgeous. Views were fantastic. Very comfortable, spacious and surprisingly quiet (even room to room). Would rent here again in a heartbeat.

This is an ideal location and great house. You have views of CDA from the decks and easy access to town via boat. We watched bald and golden eagles fly around the bay our entire trip. There are so many activities at the house between the games, kayaks and paddle boards. It was a great week with our family and grandkids. There are also tons of toys and supplies for kids of all ages.

Another Great Lake Vacation

2nd Annual Family Lake house and again it did not disappoint! Always Clean and Comfortable and well stoked with everything you will need! Danica was always a phone call/text away when needed! Shared dock can be tricky with other rental house but with good communication it’s not a problem at all!Highly Recommend

What an amazing week!

We just retuned home after a week at beautiful Coeur d’Alene. We had a wonderful time and felt at home in this beautiful house. Our three grown kids plus spouses and grandkids join us on vacation each summer and we always stay at a VRBO. Hands down this was the best yet - a great house for us to relax and feel like we were “home”. Danika was great to work with and provided excellent communication. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 10. It was very easy to find a place for some quiet and also nice spaces to gather as a group. The outdoor area was awesome. Nice furniture on the deck, hot tub, dock, kayaks, fire pit - everything needed to have an enjoyable time. We rented a pontoon boat one day and got to explore the lake. Highly recommend! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the osprey - the binoculars were great! Honestly, can’t say enough good things. We hope to come back again!

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved this property!! It was warm, inviting, cozy and had beautiful views. They thought of every accommodation you could think of in the house, and the owner was extremely friendly. She gave us great ideas to entertain our little ones and was very accommodating. We look forward to rebooking for next year!

One of the best stays ever!

We have been staying with VRBOs for over ten years and this was the best house! The pictures do not do justice to the house or to the views. They were amazing. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well stocked with everything a family could need. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of towels, toys, games, and hot water. Check in and check out was very easy and the check out cleaning instructions were quite reasonable. Communication with the Host was prompt and helpful with great tips on where to eat and for a boat rental. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Lakeside Gem!!

I stayed here with my wife two kids, my friend, his wife and his mother, the house was perfectly set up for toddlers and adults. No detail was left out for us tired parents. Awesome little nook, full of toys for the kids to be entertained for hours, a spare stroller and highchair. They even had child gates for the stairs, which was super helpful. The location was stellar, had an opportunity to use the hot tub, the kayaks, the paddle boards, even the fire pit to make s’mores, really took advantage of all the amenities. Highly recommend if staying in Coeur d’Alene, This is the place to be. Only 15 minutes into town, but great to have the privacy and peace and quiet, not having to worry about the boat traffic. Absolutely loved upstate Idaho.

Beautiful Property .. great location right on the lake

We were traveling for a work install and the home worked out perfect for 5 coworkers. There was plenty of room for each of us to have private space and still be able to all come together for meals and time spent together enjoying the views from the deck. The dock and kayaks were an extra bonus! The host Danica was great at communicating and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Great property and host!!. Thank you

More than I hoped for

After a 5-minute walk-through at arrival, I immediately called the agent to reserve this home for next year for twice the number of days. This is a great home, with a beautiful view and despite being snuggled between two homes, plenty of privacy. We had four grown men visiting for a golf excursion, but this would be fine for a family or two. Don't wait!

Great week exploring the lake and fishing

The home was spacious with excellent views. The home was well equipped with everything one would need. Bonuses were a dock, with many toys like kayaks, paddle boards, yard games and best of all a hot tub with a lake view. Danica was an excellent host answered any and all questions we had which were not many as the house is everything and more as described in the listing. If you have younger children many toys and even with older children plenty of board games, and the basketball hoop game was a hit with our son and his college friend. We did not get to use the fire pit but I guess we will just need to come back. Thank you for a wonderful week you have a great home

The best by far

This house surpassed any VRBO stay I've had by a long shot. It was decorated and furnished in the way that I would hope my own home to be. Imagine that you might need something in the house. It would be there. There were kayaks and paddle boards for use on the lake. There were games to play. Ceour d'Alene was 20 -25 minutes away for shopping, restaurants, or just visiting. And yet while sitting on the deck of the house, you could hear the quiet. It was a wonderful week.
