Escape to Katepwa Lake Hilltop Hideaway, a bright and spacious walkout retreat overlooking the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley. Located on a quiet hill just 7 minutes from Katepwa Beach, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of privacy and easy access to everything the area has to offer.
The suite comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests, with room for a 5th on the couch if needed. It features two comfortable bedrooms, a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, gas fireplace, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a private entrance. Step outside to enjoy the patio, fire pit, and peaceful surroundings where deer and other wildlife are often seen.
At the bottom of the hill you’ll find tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a splash park, picnic areas, walking paths, and public washrooms. A short drive brings you to Katepwa Beach, the boat launch, golf courses, restaurants, Rocco’s Beach Store, and the Trans Canada Trail.
Whether you’re planning a relaxing lake getaway, a family vacation, a golf weekend, or a winter ski trip to Mission Ridge, this is the perfect home base. We respect your privacy but are only a message away if you need anything during your stay.

In 2013, I chose this hilltop lot because I fell in love with the incredible views, peaceful surroundings, and everything Katepwa Lake has to offer. I built my dream home here, designing it to take full advantage of the scenery and quiet atmosphere. What I enjoy most is how close everything is—you can be at the beach, golf course, boat launch, restaurants, and provincial park within minutes, yet still come home to a private, relaxing retreat. The walking trails, wildlife, and beautiful sunsets make this a place I truly love, and I’m excited to share it with my guests.

After searching for the perfect location, I found this hilltop lot overlooking the Katepwa Lake area and built my dream home in 2013. I designed it to take full advantage of the views, natural light, and peaceful surroundings, with 9-foot ceilings, an open layout, and quality finishes throughout.
What makes it truly unique is its location. You’re tucked away on a quiet hill with beautiful valley and distant lake views, yet only a 7-minute drive from Katepwa Beach, the golf course, boat launch, restaurants, and provincial park. At the bottom of the hill are paved walking trails, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a splash park, picnic areas, and plenty of green space.
Because this was built as a forever home—not as a rental—it feels warm, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. After taking a few years away from hosting, I’m excited to welcome guests again and share a place that has meant so much to me.
