Welcome to Pudding’s Home – Mountain View Collection, one of the most charming and distinctive stays in the Pudding’s Home family. Nestled near the iconic Puffing Billy Railway and the breathtaking Dandenong Ranges, this unique retreat blends artistic flair with timeless Victorian elegance. Every corner of the house is thoughtfully styled, drawing inspiration from Melbourne’s rich heritage and historic charm. Whether you're here for a peaceful escape or a scenic adventure, this warm and character-filled home promises a truly memorable stay.

This spacious property boasts four large master bedrooms, each with its own ensuite for added comfort and privacy. You'll find two fully equipped kitchens, multiple living and dining areas, and a stunning mountain-view balcony—perfect for soaking in the serene surroundings. Each bathroom is thoughtfully designed with its own unique style and features a bathtub, some even with a skylight that lets in beautiful natural light. For those working remotely, the home includes a dedicated workspace with a complimentary desktop computer—please use with care. A washer and two dryers are also available for your convenience. There are countless thoughtful touches and charming details throughout the home, just waiting for you to discover and enjoy during your stay.

The Room "Fitzroy" - 1 x King Bed with Ensuite

One of Melbourne’s oldest suburbs inspired this elegant room, capturing the stylish charm of the city’s Victorian heyday. It features a private ensuite, its own fully equipped kitchen, dedicated dining areas, a cosy fireplace, and a spacious walk-in wardrobe complete with a washer and dryer—perfect for an extended, comfortable stay.



The Room "Mornington" - 1 x Queen Bed with Ensuite + 1 x Sofa bed

Feel the summer and autumn breeze of the Pacific Ocean in this serene, minimalist guest ensuite. Designed with simplicity and elegance, the room features a skylit bathroom with a deep bathtub—offering a magical opportunity to unwind under the stars and even catch a glimpse of the Milky Way as you soak.

Occupying the entire upper level, this exclusive master retreat is inspired by the elegance of Ripponlea, one of Melbourne’s most iconic and historic suburbs. Designed as a private sanctuary for the master of the guest group, this luxurious space features two spacious walk-in wardrobes, a beautifully styled bathroom with a bathtub, and a smart TV with adjustable positioning. Enjoy stunning mountain views of the Dandenong Ranges through two large windows—perfect for peaceful mornings and golden sunsets. You are welcome to enjoy full access to all interior spaces of the house during your stay. Please note that the backyard, including the garden area, is currently undergoing some maintainance work. For your safety, we kindly ask that you exercise caution when entering this area. Additionally, the garage is being used to store the owner’s personal belongings and is not available for guest use at this time.



-- Parking --

The house is situated on a hillside, and the driveway is quite steep, which may not be suitable for some vehicles. However, parking is available at the front of the property, with space for up to three cars. Please take extra care when parking, as the parking platform does not have a physical boundary. After driving up the driveway, do not turn right, as that area belongs to the neighbour. Our designated parking area is to the left, in front of the garage. Be cautious when turning left at the top of the driveway.

Enjoy scenic walking trails, the iconic 1000 Steps Kokoda Track, and Ferntree Gully National Park, all just minutes away. The local area also features cozy cafés, family-run restaurants, and well-stocked supermarkets for all your essentials.

The local train station is within walking distance, providing easy access to Melbourne CBD and nearby towns like Belgrave and Sassafras.



By Car: Easy access to Burwood Highway makes it convenient to reach nearby attractions like Puffing Billy, 1000 Steps, and Dandenong Ranges National Park. Free street parking is available.



By Train: Upper Ferntree Gully Station is just a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive away. From there, direct trains take you to Melbourne CBD via the Belgrave Line.



By Foot: Local shops, cafes, and scenic walking trails are all within a short walk or quick drive.



Please remove your shoes when inside the house. Slippers are provided for your convenience, but you’re also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
