THE HOME
Perfect for couples, families, friends and dog owners, Moonrise Hill combines the tranquillity of a secluded countryside retreat with easy access to walking and cycling trails, orchards, wineries and the historic towns of Castlemaine and Bendigo. Spend your mornings enjoying coffee on the deck, your afternoons discovering the region and your evenings relaxing beside the wood fireplace beneath the peaceful country sky.

Moonrise Hill accommodates up to six guests across two comfortable bedrooms and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms have comfortable modern mattresses and a calm, welcoming atmosphere designed for restful nights.

The light-filled living area is made for slowing down and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Settle into one of the two comfortable sofas, watch a movie on the flat-screen television, curl up with a good book or unwind beside the wood fireplace while taking in the magnificent views across the valleys and hills.

The modern kitchen provides everything you need to prepare relaxed breakfasts, family dinners, or a platter of local produce. It includes an electric cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, Breville espresso coffee machine, French press, electric kettle, essential cookware and generous preparation space. Enjoy meals together at the dining table or casually at the kitchen benchtop.

Guests also have access to high-speed satellite NBN Wi-Fi (approximately 60 Mbps), laundry facilities, and ample onsite parking, providing added comfort and convenience throughout their stay.

Step outside onto the expansive deck and breathe in the fresh country air. It is the perfect place for a peaceful morning coffee, a relaxed afternoon drink or an evening spent watching the light change across the Harcourt Valley. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, cockatoos and kookaburras, as well as the magnificent wedge-tailed eagles that can sometimes be seen soaring overhead.

Guests have private use of the holiday home, its expansive deck and the designated outdoor and parking areas throughout their stay. The peaceful rural surroundings provide plenty of space to relax, reconnect and experience the natural beauty of Mount Prospect and the Harcourt Valley.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Moonrise Hill; however, we cannot accommodate cats or other animals. Dogs must be supervised at all times, particularly outdoors, as the property is surrounded by native wildlife. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, and additional charges may apply if extra cleaning is required.

Harcourt North is one of Central Victoria's hidden gems, celebrated for its orchards, vineyards, cideries, rolling hills and welcoming country atmosphere. Sample locally produced wines and ciders, visit nearby cellar doors or enjoy seasonal apple picking while taking in the region's beautiful scenery.

Outdoor lovers will find an array of walking, hiking, and cycling opportunities nearby. Whether you prefer a leisurely country stroll or a more adventurous day on the trails, the surrounding Goldfields landscape provides a memorable backdrop.

The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly. GETTING AROUND
Because of Moonrise Hill's rural location, we strongly recommend travelling by car. The property provides ample parking and is well positioned for exploring Harcourt, Castlemaine, Bendigo and the wider Goldfields region.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Moonrise Hill is located in a beautiful but naturally rugged rural environment. The property includes tall trees, rolling hills, uneven ground, loose or slippery rocks and native wildlife. Guests should take care while exploring, wear suitable footwear and supervise children closely at all times.

A starter supply of essential amenities is provided upon arrival, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and several other basic items. These supplies are intended to make your arrival more comfortable but may not last for an extended stay.

The cleaning fee covers professional cleaning after departure, linen hire, laundering and replacing bed linen and towels, and replenishing basic consumables such as toilet paper and soap. Due to the property's rural location, these services require additional travel time and resources.

ADDITIONAL RULES
Strictly no schoolies, parties, or events. Mature guests only. The property is patrolled by security. If neighbours complain or the police are called, this could affect your bond, and we have reserved the right to evict guests.

We can confirm bookings only once the verification process is complete.

Pets are welcome but must be cleaned up during/after the stay.
