12min to downtown St Joseph MI Cozy Lake House Cabin is the perfect spot to spend your vacations with family and friends. The resort is spread on 36 acres directly on lake Michigan with private beach, fishing pond, 2 swimming pools, wading pool for kids, shuffleboard, basketball, horseshoes, tennis. The Chalet on the lake has everything. Each Chalet is outfitted with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bath and can accommodate 8 guests+. The 2 bedrooms each have a queen bed and a single sized bunk beds. Bunk beds have a 150lb weight limit. Also main floor sofa folds out providing full size bed . The main bath on the first level has a shower. This Cozy Lake House Cabin also has a screened in porch and a gas and charcoal grill. The Chalet have pools, playgrounds throughout so the adults and kids can enjoy endless hours of fun outdoors. Cozy Lake House Cabin is located in Stevensville, Michigan on Lake Michigan with plenty of activities in town . Spend the day charter fishing or playing golf at Harbor Shores golf course which is home to the senior PGA golf tournament. Chalet on the lake is perfect for anytime of the year. Come, relax, and enjoy everything that Pure Michigan has to offer!

Vacation with 4 grandchildren, a lot for them to do, love the game room on lower level. Lots of outdoor space, beautiful deck and very large yard. Great place, very clean, excellent communication. Having washer and dryer in unit is great. Everything is provided in the rental. Second time renting this place and definitely will be returning.

Nicely redone! Completely updated on the main level and the bonus lower level. Very nice grounds (pools!) and private beach which were great for our younger kids.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Brought our 12yo twin grandchildren for a Lake Michigan family vacation. Played at the beach, pool and did some fishing. We rode bikes that are included with the cabin. The private beach is amazing! Cabin also includes beach items to use. The cabin is amazing and the pics are not current except for the bathroom. Cabin is updated and so beautiful! Extra bonus game room downstairs. We only had to reach out once to the host and he responded quickly. You will not be disappointed staying here! We are definitely coming back next year!

Family fun!

Terrific property. Gated community with beautiful beaches, pools, tennis ,basketball,pickleball , shuffleboard, fishing pond…this unit is updated with a lovely kitchen, nice wraparound deck with lounge chairs and grassy yard for kiddos to play. Awesome game room on the lowest floor. I can’t think of anything this place doesn’t offer. Highly recommend!

Great stay

House has everything needed. Clean. My husband and I brought our 4 grandchildren 11yrs and under and had a great time. Definitely will consider returning.

Very nice centrally located property!! 10++ stars!! Very clean and cozy and SO many extras...bikes..beach toys....gas and charcoal grills!! Great private beach that we had completely to ourselves one day!! Highly recommend and we are already planning a trip back!!!

Cozy chalet duplex

We had 1 side of an A-frame chalet duplex. The first floor bathroom and kitchen have been nicely updated. There was a comfortable sofa and 2 okay chairs which were all fine for watching tv for a couple of hours. The living room could use more lights and an instruction sheet for how to work the tv (and the 4 remotes). The bedrooms and a tiny half bath are up a fairly steep staircase. The queen size beds were comfortable. Each bedroom also had 2 bunk beds and we did not use those. The half bath had motion lights which would blast on when visiting the room. This was annoying for people who needed the restroom in the middle of the night. The kitchen also had these same motion lights which we couldn’t figure out how to control. This was not great for the person that slept on the sofa. There’s a cozy screened in porch that overlooks a small lake. We enjoyed spending a lot of time out there. There are bikes, a game room, a grill, and a picnic table for this unit. The pool area is nice and it’s about .2 miles from the chalet. The private beach is almost .5 miles and is accessed by a fairly steep staircase. All in all, we liked the chalet for a group of 3 but felt it would feel small for a larger group. We felt quite safe here and liked that you had to pin in and out.

A-Frame Lake Stay

It was great! Exactly as stated in the listing. Very cozy and cool on some hot, muggy days. The location is fantastic as well. The property itself has multiple pools and playgrounds within walking distance. It's also a very easy drive to several of the small towns along the coast. Overall a great stay. Would definitely come back.

Great getaway!

Had a great stay. Kitchen has been updated from the photos in the listing, and it was beautiful. Only negative was that it was at the completely at the back of the property from the lake and beach. However, it was nice to be by the fishing pond, and one of the pools wasn’t very far.

Great time in Stevensville!

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalets on the Lake. Our unit was beautifully done and well appointed. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated this year. Everything was very clean. There were lots of activities for our grandchildren….two pools, beach, and playground. They also enjoyed the playroom in our garage. There were games, the wi-fi worked well, floaties, balls and even a wagon, big wheel and some adult bikes. We think we had the best unit and would definitely visit again! Thank you!

great place to stay with the family

Chalet on the Lake is a great place to stay. There are 3 pools ,(baby, kiddie and regular size), beach access, activities including tennis, shuffle board, pickleball, fishing and play grounds all spread out the whole property. Chris' (the host) Chalet was awesome to stay at. He renovated in 2024 so the appliances and bathrooms were fully updated. The covered patio could use a power wash/update but it worked for us. We ended up overpacking because we didn't know what to bring but this place was fully stocked with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, beach chairs, toys, bikes,and games etc. He provided the bath towels, tp, hand soap, and paper towels so If you don't mind washing dishes and towels ( there is a dishwasher and laundry) all you need to bring are beach towels, Kleenex, hand towels and wash cloths, shampoo, and laundry detergent. The garage was converted into a game room with a pool table that turns into air hockey and ping pong. My son was too little for that but he loved the kiddy bike that was there to ride. I traveled with a 3 year old, my husband and my mother. She enjoyed the covered patio with the view of the pond. My husband enjoyed the grill and I enjoyed having space from the other Chalets. The Chalet is close to the front so we decided to drive to the beach instead of dragging all the stuff there but everything is within walking distance. There is a Meijer about 10 mins away and St Joe is about 15 min away with fun things to do for kids.

Great space and amenities

Perfect for our family four night stay. Adorable, clean and comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to two private beaches, pools, shuffleboard, b-ball, tennis/pickleball, playgrounds. Close to grocery, restaurants. Plenty of games/activities and houseware to keep busy and cook during downtime. Highly recommend 10/10!

Loved!

The overall property was amazing. The updated kitchen and bathroom or a definite plus! There are so many things to do right there. We only left for one full day. Our kids loved the on-site pools and beaches. It’s a real easy drive to St. Joseph where you can go to Silver Beach and do all the fun shopping downtown. I had never been to Michigan before, but I am in love. I will choose this over the ocean any day. Every morning I walked down to the one beach that had more rocks on the resort and collected Seaglass. We spent so much time on the beach and I felt so comfortable and that my kids were safe. It was a bonus to not have to deal with salt water! Overall, we had a great stay, and I hands-down would recommend this place to anyone!

Family fun

The villa was beautiful and comfortable. The property was gorgeous and great for families. Multiple pools, playgrounds and the beaches were great! No need to leave for entertainment. The playroom in the basement/garage was an especially nice amenity. We will definitely book this property again!

Perfect Lake Getaway

This is our second time staying at the chalet and we’ll definitely be back for a third visit. Perfect location. Wonderful resort with lots of amenities.
