Ocean side cottage

Welcome to the beach! This is the first time we are opening our beach house to VRBO. Because the cottage is one of three family homes side by side, where aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends gather every summer, we are looking for the right fit, guests who will care for our home as if it were their own.
Our cottage is best suited for families or small groups who appreciate simple living and the charm of a classic Jersey Shore beach cottage. It is not intended for parties or large gatherings. Family members will be coming and going from the neighboring properties, so there will usually be someone around if needed.
The house is a step back in time, when a beach house meant simple living. It has four small bedrooms and sleeps seven people. It is reminiscent of a time when people arrived at the beach with just a swimsuit and a pair of shorts. Hence, there are no closets, but every room has plenty of hooks to hang your finest beach attire. While the house has central air conditioning, every room also has a ceiling fan and plenty of windows to let in the fesh air.
The back porch provides a shaded outdoor seating and dining area, while the upstairs deck is perfect for an evening cocktail and a glimpse of the ocean.
Located just a few steps from the beach in Beach Haven and only a few blocks from Bay Village and Fantasy Island, the house is affectionately known as the Surf Shack because of its ideal location to several surfing beaches where our children spent countless hours learning to surf.
