New Screened Porch on the Canal with Beach Access steps away!

Come enjoy the Frippin Best House located on the scenic Canal with direct beach access only 70 short steps away. A recently added screen porch is equipped with an ice maker and bar overlooking the canal. This home has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths with 2 additional his/hers showers downstairs. The main floor contains a large comfortable family area, card playing table, a master bedroom/bath with a single daybed and another queen bed and bath. The den has a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a beautiful dining room that overlooks the canal while you enjoy breakfast or the wonderful sunset in the evening. The upstairs floor contains 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. One bedroom has twin bunk beds and the other has a double bed and the other on-suite has a queen bed.
A recently added screened porch is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset or your morning coffee. Crabbing and fishing is a treat off the private dock. The dock holds a boat up to 20 feet in length. The location is a top notch spot to enjoy both the beach and the canal. There is a large refrigerator and freezer located on the ground floor for overflow food and drinks. There is an industrial ice maker in the garage under the house. You can even toss a game of corn hole with the boards made by the owners son. You are a short golf cart ride to the pools, dining facilities, marina and tennis courts. A terrific ocean breeze with nature all around makes this home your perfect vacation spot! A six seater golf cart comes with a weeks rental. (Amenity Cards are available for purchase for persons over 13 to use the pools, island resturants and golf club.) (Starting April 2023, a new administrative fee of 12.8% is now being assessed to each rental by the Fripp Island Club for those renters wanting amenity card. )This amount is added to your per night fee and not VRBO or cleaning fees.

Great family vacation for 9

We had a great time at the beach which is only a block away! Screened porch and bar overlooking the canal was very fun. We had kayak fishermen and paddlers in our group and caught 2 keeper redfish off the dock in the canal. This was a fun vacation for our 3 adult kids and 2 grandkids at Fripp.

Nice house in a great location

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Fripp Island is a great place for a vacation with kids and adults. The house was large and met all our needs. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It has a very nice screened in porch with a wet bar and room for eating or just sitting around. The kitchen was well equipped. It even comes with a golf cart to get around on. The best thing was the location right across from a beach access point at the end of the island that is not very busy or crowded.

Truly the Frippin Best

Had a great stay. Plenty of room for two families with kids. Great layout and and awesome location. Short walk to the beach and the canal/creek in the backyard offered great fishing and easy access for kayaks. The firepit was perfect for the cool nights. Spent majority of the cool mornings and evenings on the screen porch which could easily accommodate all 8 of us. Porch includes a bar with built in ice machine that was fabulous. Owner was a fantastic host and quick to respond. Will consider The Frippin Best again.

The Frippin Best House

We had a great experience staying at The Frippin Best House. Rebecca was easy to communicate with regarding the stay and provided all of the information we needed to enjoy our stay. The location of the home is truly perfect- so close to the beach access that we walked while having the canal and dock out back to allow for fishing right from the back yard. We enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces - from the front porch, back porch, and lower patio. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out in their own space for some quiet time or come together for fun with the whole group. We found most everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare many meals right at home. This home truly has so many amenities to make your stay as carefree as possible!

Amazing location!

Can’t wait to return. Dock, decks, fire pit, beach across the street, ping pong, golf cart, breach cart, loads of beach chairs and two beach cruisers- so easy and enjoyable. Home is spacious and comfortable. Owners are making updates and improvements that are making it better and better. Minor note it’s time to get the carpets cleaned - likely already on their list of post summer items. Can’t wait to come back and did not want to leave. Heads up you can order Instacart to deliver groceries from Publix it will make your life easier. The restaurants on the island are ok. Make a stop at Jackson Creek Tavern for casual seafood just a 15 mins from the house. Also we loved Lady’s Island Dockside restaurant- try to get there for sunset. Food and service are wonderful.

Great Getaway!

We had a group with 5 adults and 1 child. The house was Perfect For us to spread out or find places to all gather together. The fire pit was great for the cool nights and all the beach equipment was perfect for the warm days!

Perfect!

This house was fantastic. The location is great — easy access to the beach and the pools, plus you have the canal behind you. We had basically everything we needed for beach trips (chairs, cart, etc), a golf cart was provided, and the house is fully equipped with everything you could need. I also appreciated the cleanliness compared to other places I’ve stayed on the island. The backyard is beautiful and the owner was super communicative and helpful. I look forward to staying here again!

Fripp Vacation -- Summer 2022

Fripp Island is a wonderful place to enjoy the SC coast. The location of this house is ideal to enjoy the beach and boating. The house is well maintained and provided plenty of room for the seven adults we had to enjoy our vacation. The owners were fantastic to work with and did everything possible to make sure that our vacation was as expected. Would definitely stay here again.

Appreciative of the owners communication

We stayed on the island shortly after Christmas with family. Luckily we had some good days of warmer than average temperatures and were able to enjoy the island's beauty. It was a pleasure to deal with Rebecca, the owner. She is working very hard to make things even more inviting in her home. She was great to work with.

Best Fripp Trip!

We had an amazing 6 days. Fall is now my favorite time on Fripp Island. We could not have asked for better weather. The house is in a great location and was well stocked with all things we needed for the week, along with lots of things to entertain our family. The kids loved the fishing dock in the back, building a fire in the fire pit to make s’mores, playing corn hole and ping pong. The owner Rebecca was the most responsive owner we have ever dealt with. She responded to any question we had immediately and was so helpful. She really has thought of everything you may need to make your trip enjoyable. She is so personable you feel like you’ve known her forever. The house is older and has been well loved but was perfect for our family. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location, excellent communication

Never have I stayed at a rental where I felt I became friends with the owner based on text messages alone ☺️ Rebecca was an absolute DREAM to work with which makes everything about a vacation so much easier. The location, right across the street from the beach, makes it perfect for families like ours with little kids and lots of “stuff.” We loaded up the beach cart (provided) every day and just walked across the street. Took golf cart to cabana club, activity center, food court, and marina. Easy as can be! My son really enjoyed the dock. Caught a bunch of fish! House had everything we needed. Beach chairs were AWESOME to have, outdoor showers super convenient, kids loved the games in the garage. We will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you Rebecca for a wonderful experience!

Great rental and loved Fripp!

We had a wonderful week at Fripp and loved this rental! It was pretty, comfortable and had everything we needed to have a fun week. The location is great! Even our 3 year olds didn’t mind walking to the beach. It was a nice and close walk and had a great beach. The wagon and beach chairs were a welcomed addition as well as the golf cart that was provided with the rental. The kids loved the pools and the locations of the pools were an easy ride on the golf cart. Of course, my grandchildren loved seeing the deer everywhere. The kitchen was full of everything that we needed. Beds and furniture were comfortable. It was a great house for all of us to be able to relax and visit with each other while we still had extra space for our 3 year olds to spread out their toys and play. Great rental! Rebeccah, the owner, was prompt with responses and very accommodating.

Convenient Location and Awesome Ammenities

FrippinBestHouse was a great fit for our family! We were so close to the beach we didn’t even need to take the golf cart. The backyard dock on the creek provided hours of fishing entertainment. There were serious family competitive challenges on the corn hole boards and a ping pong table . The kitchen was well equipped and provided plenty of food storage. The house was large, airy and very comfortable. The owner responded quickly to any question or concern. Would love to return in the future!

Spivey Vacation at the Frippin House

This is a great vacation property. Beach access is great and pools only a 5 minute golf cart ride away. The golf cart on site was a money saver. I can't say enough about the owner and how well she responded to several questions before we arrived and was helpful during our stay as well.

Wonderful Location!!!

The location of this house was perfect!!! We walked across the road and onto the beach which made it super easy with kids who can’t wait to be on the beach quickly. We would absolutely stay at this home again because of the ease of the location!!! The communication with the owner was always prompt and she gave all the extra details needed to help us have the most info for planning our vacation too!! We highly recommend this home!

Great family beach house rental!

This property was great access to inlet for fishing and just a couple of steps across the street to the beach. The owners provided a golf cart for transportation around the Island. We never got in our car. The owner was very nice and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful Trip!

We had such a great experience renting with Rebecca and Jim. They were very welcoming and very responsive. The house was nice, comfortable, beautiful location on Fripp Island and fully stocked with everything that you would need. The extra refrigerator and freezer downstairs was so handy! Beautiful sunsets and comfortable beds. We spent time relaxing on the back deck and front porch. The grill was awesome, the Chiminea was nice for the cooler nights...everything was just perfect! We will be staying here again!! Thanks again!

The Best Family lives fulltime in Columbia, South Carolina. We purchased this home three years ago and have been busy updating and making it our own slice of Heaven. My husbands family has had a home on Fripp since he was a small child. I grew up about an hour from Beaufort and spent my summers in the creeks and beaches of the Lowcountry. We decieded we wanted to have our own place on Fripp along with our two children ( 23 and 17).
