All amenities were wonderful. Host was very communicative and responsive throughout stay. The house is exactly as pictured with beautiful grounds making for our wonderful family retreat. Location was very convenient for walking into town. Can't wait to book our next stay!

Upon arrival, the swimming pool was observed to contain a substantial proliferation of algae, rendering the pool bottom entirely obscured and the pool unusable. The algae bloom was simply a lack of maintenance issue. It was also noted that the spa was non-operational, a condition that had been communicated to guests via an “arrival” email. On the morning of the fifth day, which coincided with the scheduled departure, the pool underwent a chemical treatment involving shock and an algae treatment.A partial refund of 500 was issued by the host on their own accord. Hardly helpful.Very disappointed in the stay.

Incredible property

The grounds were stunning! It was so nice to let the kids rune wild and not have to worry where they were! We played tennis and swam every day!

Wonderful experience. Our family of 7 spent a lot of time in the pool, hot tub and reading on the comfortable chaises. Grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Everyone had plenty of space in their own casitas. Great bedding.Location is key. Easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants.Easy to communicate with Louise about house questions.We all want to come back!

Amazing Resort-Like Accommodations for Large Groups

Such a great place to host a large group! The property is so expansive; the photos don't do it justice. We loved the tennis/sports' court with all the fun accessories; the heated pool & spa; the firepit; playing football on the massive lawn & enjoying the desert sunshine on the family-size daybed. Amazing location (being able to walk to downtown was great) & hosts!

Felt like a private resort in a wonderful location!

We stayed for a long weekend in celebration of my husband's 50th birthday. We had 5 couples in total, and absolutely loved our stay. The property manager was organized, responsive, helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The location was fantastic and walkable to almost all our outings, although we ended up Ubering during daylight hours because of the 110 weather, ha ha. And even with the heat, we were quite content lounging in and around the pool. It felt like our own private resort. The first day, we kept expecting other guests to walk past - that's how resort-like it felt. We also had fun playing tennis, watching football in the spacious living room, procured a private chef for my husband's birthday dinner (recommended by the property manager), walked and biked around the neighborhood to check out the other famous homes and beautiful architecture, and had all-around wonderful time. We definitely hope to come back someday!

Perfect Tennis Getaway

This place was awesome. We went with another family and the layout was perfect for any group. There were 2 separate casitas that gave us plenty of room to spread out. The kids had endless activities to do on this beautiful property and we will definitely be back. The host, Layne, was very attentive and responded with an answer to all my questions promptly. I would highly recommend this place!

Amazing

We celebrated my father's 80th birthday here with our family of eight and this property was the ideal spot. The layout of the property and outdoor amenities -- the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and dining area -- were really perfect for our group. The bedrooms in the main house and two casitas were very comfortable and provided plenty of space and privacy. The location, being a short walk to the restaurants along N Palm Canyon Drive could not have been more convenient. And big thanks to Layne the property manager who was very responsive, and saved the day by getting us a last minute booking at a really fun restaurant when our outdoor reservation that night got canceled due to rain. We hope to be back!!

Amazing property!

We had a great time at the property. The outdoor amenities and location could not be beat. Really thoughtful and consider owner/manager. The interior could use some updating, but it has the 1960s design and charm, and was very clean.

As beautiful in person as in the photos

This property is spectacular. Our work group particularly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and outdoor living space. This is a wonderful property for couples/families to have their own space, but also common areas to gather.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and comfortable and clean and wonderfully appointed. A great place for family and friends. Lots of separate places to sleep. Separation when you want and great communal places to be as well. A beautiful property with tons to do outside and we basically didn’t leave the house but never really needed to. Tons of board games was a plus! Great area to watch movies in. Very comfortable beds!!!! Loves and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Bachelorette weekend

William's property is immaculate. Not only is it equipped with everything you need to celebrate or relax with friends for the weekend, it is walking distance to town. You get complete privacy, luxury, and both Megan and Layne are completely attentive and responsive to your needs and will provide fantastic referrals. I cannot rate this property and entire experience highly enough. It is absolutely 5 star service, amenities, decor and beyond. There is ample space for a group to hang out indoors or outdoors and the pool is perfect. Cannot thank them enough for having us for my bachelorette weekend. It was unforgettable and we hope to be back!

Paradise!

Incredible! Better than the listing described. This luxurious oasis is walking distance to Palm Spring’s best restaurants and coffee shops and the base of the mountains where we walked to hike daily. The neighborhood feels like a mid-century time-capsule. The compound was a perfect get-away for our family of 9 with space and activities for all (ages 1 to 59) within the grounds. And our concierge attended to our every need. I can’t imagine a better set-up! We hope to go back every year. Having access to a Historic property like this is an incredible privilege!
