We loved our stay at Sunny Dunes. We highly recommend it. The pool was definitely the highlight. And the hot tub behind the waterfall was a big highlight of our trip as well. Super close to downtown. Hope to be back someday.

Great place

We’re a group of six active 60ish year old adults; had a blast with the pool that is well equipped with floatable toys, numerous chairs, large table for games and meals; we played ping pong, shuffle board, pinball games; and the kitchen well appointed. Excellent communication with hosts!!

Great Stay

The property was excellent. We were there for Coachella Festival weekend 1. The check-in process was easy and the host Carol was responsive and attentive to our needs. The Villa was well maintained and clean. Huge pool with a slide and grotto to keep you cool during the hot desert days and a great games room to keep your entertained when you're not out around Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley. With four bedrooms and fold out beds and plenty of seating and it can accommodate larger groups but the most we had was five. The Air Conditioning (AC) system keep the place cool even with the outside temperature reaching over 100F during our visit. No complaints for our short stay.

Fun place, great location

I would recommend. We had four adults and 4 tween/teens. Downtown was very close and the house was very fun! The backyard is amazing. The place could use a deep clean, but really it was great for our group. Plenty of space. The kitchen is smaller, so don’t expect to cook. We ate out most of the time, so it was good for us.

The home was appointed with everything necessary for an easy stay. The pool, spa, and arcade room make it a great place to keep your little ones busy.

Come for the pool, tolerate the house layout

We had a great stay with most of our time spent outside in the backyard with the pool, hammock, hot tub and sauna. The house however, left a lot to be desired. The layout is funky with limited areas to have a large group gather comfortably. The kitchen is quite small and it got crowded with only a few of us in there at a time. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are only accessible if you exit the house and go outside. For our family it was a bit limiting since we didn't feel comfortable having small kids walking by the pool at night to get to bed. However, the owners were fantastic and responded to our requests immediately and even helped us secure a second baby pac-n-play for sleeping. The house was a ton of fun for our family and even with the quirks, we had a really wonderful time together.

Great last minute trip

We just took a last minute trip to palm springs. This home was perfect for a relaxing weekend. We wish we would have known before hand that music wasn't allowed outside, but we did without. Thanks! We'll be back!

Awesome pool

The house was beautiful and the pool was super fun the kids enjoyed it a lot. Everything was really clean and tidy. The property owner was really nice and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape the heat or have a fun weekend in the desert.

Great place to celebrate family and friends

This is a fun and relaxing place. The outdoor spaces and covered patio makes for a lot of fun. It was raining during one day of our 3 day stay, so being on the patio with heaters made it pleasant. The property could use a little updating, but the pictures accurately depict the house.

The Grotto

This was such a fun place!!! Our family had a delightful time with the pool with its grotto, jacuzzi, waterfall and slide. My little nephew was obsessed with the arcade game in the game room. The location was close to downtown and easy to get too, and located in a quiet neighborhood. Communicating with the property manager was super easy. We just had a fabulous great time, I was so happy to see my family happy and together. We definitely recommend this place and hope to come again in the future!

Felt Like We Had an Entire Hawaiian Resort all to Ourselves

It was the middle of January and rainy weather; but that didn't stop us from enjoying this wonderful property! In fact, we used the pool, the waterslide, jacuzzi and the patio. The rain actually made our time there more exotic and fun. The pool was warm. There were plenty of pool toys for all ages. They even had new toys, tubes, pump etc.. in the house in case the tubes and blow up toys leaked, had issues. I think the patio was the best part! There was 2 heaters installed up above, heat elements so made it very comfortable in the morning drinking coffee, over looking what felt and looked like Hawaii. Definitely recommend staying here.

Christmas family fun

This rental was so much fun for everyone especially the pool and spa. Carol graciously let us in early on Christmas day and helped us operate all the amenities. She is a 5 star host. We loved the neighborhood and made some wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing this home.

GREAT POOL!

This is a very cool property. The casita and suite with separate entrance are very nice features. The games room is amazing, as is the pool area. We are definitely thinking of coming back here next year.

Just amazing relaxing resort - in your backyard!

I can't speak highly enough of this property, which was one of my favorite VRBO rentals ever (and I've rented and traveled a lot). It reminds me of staying in a hotel resort and that relaxing do I have to leave feeling you get on a good trip. The owners also have a 7 bedroom property that I am eager to stay at next. We had an extended family reunion, and this house was just perfect for a multi-generational get together. There is literally something to do for all ages: from shallow pool areas and sandy spot for the littles, to pool slide and putt putt and video games for the middle-aged kids, to pool, pinball, basketball, and ping pong for the older kids... The adults enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and the fact that there were comfortable spaces to sit in the shade (critical even during Thanksgiving) while socializing and watching the kids. The kitchen is small, but has everything you would need to cook; there were tons of small frigs which we really appreciated; the bedrooms were nice with full bathrooms attached (all but one). The pool is just amazing, and while it's expensive to heat, it was warm enough to swim in over Thanksgiving. There are even heaters outside to keep you warm in the cool evenings. The space is just incredibly well designed with things to do everywhere and tons of spaces to explore or hang out. We were so happy with our stay and the owner, Carol, was a pleasure to work with. Location of the house is great. I am already thinking about when we can come back!
