'Tahoe Belle' is a beautifully-appointed, custom 2700 sq ft South Lake Tahoe rental home and ski cabin that has all of the comforts of home. With a spacious floor plan - four bedrooms (One King bed in each of the two upstairs bedrooms and 3 Queen beds downstairs in 2 bedrooms), three full bathrooms and two living room common areas - there is plenty of room for you to spread out and enjoy yourself. Work from home (WFH) or do remote distance learning from beautiful Lake Tahoe. Relax on one of the two balconies, or just enjoy the forest views from every room. With no neighbors on two sides, Tahoe Belle really lets you get away from it all. We look forward to hosting your vacation.
New home construction was finished in 2010 and we have continued to invest in upgrades to keep it comfortable for us and our guests. We love how many memories have been made at our home over the years - both by our family and many guests.
Kitchen, Great Room & Den:
The gourmet kitchen is every cook's dream: granite slab counter tops, maple cabinets, 5-burner gas stove, convection oven, large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, traditional coffee maker, K-cup coffee maker, blender, mixer, food processor, spices, oils, cutlery, pots & pans, and more! The adjoining dining nook seats 8-10 people at the table, with four additional stools at the kitchen island.
In the Great Room, there's a magnificent floor to ceiling stone fireplace with large comfy couches, 55' HDTV, home theater system, and huge picture windows. Take your meals, coffee or tea outside to the deck with views of the woods, mountains and meadows. BBQ all summer long on the gas grill.
Downstairs, there is a second living room Den with a 42' HDTV & DVD player, couch, games and toys. The sliding glass door opens to a second balcony.
The Bedrooms:
Rest easy...each of our beds has a high-quality pillow top mattress, luxury linens and fluffy pillows. There are two bedrooms upstairs (the Master has a King bed and a second has a CA King), cathedral ceiling, nightstands, dresser and closet. The two downstairs bedrooms have Queen beds (total of three), nightstands, dressers and walk-in closets. There is also a Queen-size futon in the master bedroom. Also provided is an air mattress, a sleeping bag, pack-n-play for a baby or small toddler, high chair and booster. 10 can sleep in beds + 2 more in a queen-sized futon for total of 12 (children 5 and under are not counted against the capacity limit), and there is an additional air mattress and couches as well.
The Bathrooms:
Go ahead - take a nice long bubble bath. With maple cabinetry, rainfall shower-heads and granite throughout the 2 upstairs bathrooms and granite and marble in the downstairs bathroom, you will be relaxing in luxury. The master bathroom features two sinks, a jetted tub and a walk-in double shower. The upstairs bathroom features two sinks, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The downstairs bathroom features one sink, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. And, best of all, there are two hot water heaters, so the house is comfortable for larger groups.
Fun nearby:
The home is located in unincorporated El Dorado county and only a few minute walk away from Cold Creek and Heavenly Creek meadows. We are only a few minute drive from Heavenly and a ~10 minute drive away from downtown South Lake Tahoe and the casinos. Also nearby is a bike terrain park, skate park and community pool and center.

WFH and remote distance learning:
Our family enjoyed Tahoe Belle while doing our remote work from home (WFH) jobs during the pandemic and while our own businesses have instructed all employees to work from home. During the pandemic and shutdowns, our elementary school-aged children enjoyed their remote distance learning Zoom calls from the comfort of Tahoe Belle where they can take their recess out in the wild, ride their bikes around the neighborhood and enjoy local parks and outdoor activities while social distancing.
Parking and Laundry:
Parking for 4 vehicles: our 2 car garage can easily accommodate two cars full-size SUV's and has a Level 2 Electric Vehicle Tesla and J1772 EV charger. Two more cars may park on the driveway. The indoor laundry (downstairs) has a washer, dryer, and utility sink. For your convenience, we also provide a Pack-n-play crib, high chair and a booster seat for vehicles.
We maintain an active El Dorado County Vacation Home Rental permit and comply with all local regulations. Permit #: 073825 TOT #: 067247
Note: Exterior security cameras facing street and driveway above garage, and in backyard near basement, and Minut Noise monitor are in use. Closed circuit, portable baby monitor available for guests to use, but is unplugged and stored until guests request to use it.

-Permitted Occupancy limited to 10 persons ages 6 and older, or 12 people total including children ages 5 and below. NO MORE THAN 10 ADULTS overnight and during quiet hours 10pm-8am
-Quiet hours from 10pm-8am daily. No outdoor activities on the decks after 10pm.
-No parties. No exceptions. Violations may result in immediate cancellation of your stay, fines, and forfeiture of all fees and security deposit.
-Sleeps 12 comfortably overall INCLUDING children 5 and younger: 10 can sleep in beds + 2 more in a queen-sized futon for total of 12, and there is an additional air mattress and couches as well. NO MORE THAN 10 ADULTS, or 12 TOTAL including children ages 5 and younger.
