What an absolute PERFECT spot to stay!
We absolutely ADORED this condo! It's away from all theinsanity of downtown PCB, which was pretty important to me. The view was impressive from the nicely furnished balcony. Everything was very clean and tidy and bright and airy. Just what you like to have at the beach. Though we didn't really use it, the kitchen was nicely stocked it seemed. It had a Keurig coffee maker. The bed was nice and comfortable, plenty of comfy pillows too. It was nice having a washer and dryer and someone had left a detergent pod so that was a total bonus! All the table lamps were unplugged. We thought the ones in the bedroom weren't working, but when we couldn't get the one in the living room to come on either, we knew something was up and figured out that we needed to plug them back in.
The property was beautiful, and though the beach could get pretty crowded, if you get up early enough, you can get the perfect spot. Chairs and an umbrella were included with the room, but the two numbers we were given to call to make the reservation for them, no one answered and the voicemails were full. We did have our own chairs and umbrella and opted to use them instead of going to the lobby and waiting to be helped. Using our own also gave us more personal space, because the hotels are on top of each other. There is also a rental company you could rent them from that looked really nice and I think they were like $30 or so and they took cash and card I heard someone say. There was this box and the foot of the stairs where you could "leave a toy, take a toy". So we were able to grab a couple floats for the day. What a brilliant idea! The elevator did stop working the day we left so we had to take the stairs.
We had a bit of a hiccup checking in. We never received a text or email, or updated information on VRBO about the check-in or check-out process. Not having a way to contact the host other than through the email link, an d having already been sitting in the parking lot not able to check in for an hour past the 4 o'clock check in time, I called the VRBO 1-800 number and the second person I talked to was able to get us in touch with the host. Thank goodness, because the panic set in when the VRBO guy was talking about refunding our trip and us having to find another place to stay. Heather was very apologetic and helpful. She gave us her phone number should we need anything else.
I would absolutely 110% stay in this beautiful condo again!
