If you are looking to party, this place is not for you. This is a family friendly area and we accommodate respectful and mature renters only. ⸻We had a group of 8 for a girls’ weekend and this place was perfect! The location was amazing—just a short walk to great local bars and restaurants. The house had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

House is absolutely beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and bigger than the pictures imply -- LOTS of room to spread out! Host was very responsive to inquiries. The only hiccup was getting the check-in details prior to arrival, but we literally got them the very moment we arrived, so there were no actual delays. Centrally located -- We walked everywhere we went. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location

We had an amazing time and made great memories. We wish the bathrooms were more user friendly, the shades worked and kept out the sun, carpets were clean and the outside space had been power washed/cleaned.

Golf Trip

Needed a place to stay for 9 of us golfers playing in a tournament nearby. House was very clean, beautiful view, spacious, and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We will absolutely be back again next year.

Baby Shower in January

Absolutely gorgeous! Everything in the home was perfect. Traci, the host was excellent communicating with me. I would definitely recommend this home for family gatherings.

Family Vacation

The house is beautifully decorated. I really enjoyed the “feel” of the house. So relaxing. We had everything we needed plus more. We used the outside sitting areas. Loved them. The lake is also beautiful. Just a great place for a family vacation. Plus Traci was so nice to work with. Hospitality for sure!

Little piece of home.

This property has the feel of home with all the amenities you could need. The home had great space for us to be together and also tuck away to read or find quiet spaces. The outdoor spaces were our favorites and we spent every morning watching perfect sunrises over the lake. We also loved the closeness to the public beach and park and restaurants. The owner was super responsive to questions and gracious with their concern that we enjoy our stay. This was a beautiful property and the perfect place for our family to spend time together on the lake our Father grew up on.

Absolute Perfection!

This property is a GEM! The house is beautifully decorated & was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 12 ladies for a weekend getaway. The backyard was amazing; plenty of places to sit & relax with a backyard big enough to play yard games & enjoy a bonfire. The views of Green Lake were amazing. The location alone makes this place a must if you’re looking to visit the area. It’s nestled right on the shoreline of Green Lake & is within walking distance of restaurants, bars & coffee shops. It’s so serene & tranquil, you forget you’re still in town! Traci was a fantastic host & was always prompt in responding to messages. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re looking to stay in the Spicer/New London area!

We had a family week planned and this home was perfect. It allowed everyone to have a space and bed of their own. There was plenty of space for the group to be together or spend time apart. The yard is a great area and the deck provided seating for all of us. The kitchen is more than stocked with everything you would ever need to cook for a big family. The location is perfect. Close to the beach in town, local establishments and a nearby park. Very Clean.

We LOVED our time at Spice of Life Cottage! There were so many amenities and furnishings that made our stay really enjoyable. Not your average vacation rental, it exceeded our expectations! Several rooms with comfortable sitting spaces, a super stocked kitchen with so many helpful kitchen utensils, pans, the works. We had a rainy day but still had fun playing a variety of games that the hosts provided. The lake view deck with large table and chairs was perfect for an outdoor space. Kayaks, yard games, so much to enjoy! The hosts were phenomenal with communication and easy to work with. The house layout worked great for our group; we loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere along with a gorgeous view of Green Lake! So much to love about this destination! It is within walking distance to bait shop, boat ramp, park, grocery store, a few eating places, and a cute downtown Spicer...a great location! Book it!

Beautiful view of Green Lake

The view of the lake, great location in Spicer and beautifully remodeled home are all 5 stars! We visited in November so it was cold/snowy and we couldn't use the lake, but this home would be fantastic in the summer. We'll be back again for sure!

Lake home feel with downtown convenience.

The full Green Lake experience along with the convenience of being walking distance to a few restaurants and a very short drive for groceries. The kitchen is well appointed, lots of amenities throughout and a lot of room, inside and out for folks to sit and chat and share meals.

Perfect Place to Gather with Cousins, Play Games, & Watch Football

We fell in love with this vacation rental as soon as we pulled in the drive. The weather was extremely cold during our stay, so we played cards and games and enjoyed watching football by the fire. The layout is fantastic for visiting and creating special memories with family.
