Enjoy a competitive game of pool volleyball or relax and soak up the sun. The large screened in porch is great for relaxing and enjoying your morning coffee or an afternoon nap, while over looking the pool. The large party garage is a great gathering spot for watching sports and having a cold beverage. S’mores around the fire pit, wood will be provided. Cornhole, Lawn Pong, Giant Jenga, Darts, and More!

We had a wonderful time! Everyone enjoyed the pool & hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels and the home was clean when we arrived. It has a very nice grill. The lake is accessible and can rent boats near by. The home owner was very nice and was quick to respond w/ any questions. We definitely would go there again!

Great property for a family

This is a wonderful property for a large family and especially with children. I highly recommend it. There is so much to do there and a great place to get in a level hike too. It would even be more awesome in the summer with the lake and pool available.

Beautiful area! Beautiful home! Our group of friends had a great time playing games, cooking food, and renting a boat nearby! Couldn't have asked for a better relaxing weekend before we get married in a few months. Plenty of space and things to do at the house or within 15-20 min.

Family get away

Eight adults, one child and two infants had plenty of room to enjoy this lovely home. The pool was fantastic for water fun. Having the party garage was a wonderful space to enjoy the breeze as well as the screened in porch .

Great girls weekend!

This is our second time staying at this property for our annual girl's weekend and it was even better than the first time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, the pool was perfection, and the house is just the right size and layout for a group. Can't wait to return!

Great trip! Clean, easy, great pool, comfy beds. Only complaint is the lack of extra blankets so bring your own if you like snuggling or have any couch sleepers. We will be returning!

Something for everyone

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The nearby boat ramp gave us convenient access to beautiful Rough River Lake for fishing, swimming, and boating. We took full advantage of the sports pool and all the other games available. Our favorite place to hang out was on the large screened-in back porch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for girl’s weekend

What a well-laid out home! We had eight women and had the perfect amount of space, activities, and peace for a long weekend away. The party garage was PERFECT after a long day in the pool for cards or just catching up, the great room and kitchen were open with plenty of room, and the pool was perfection. The bedrooms were also well placed (especially in the basement) so people had quiet places to relax or sleep in :) We can’t wait to come back.

Rough Riviera

It’s a beautiful house with lots of space for a large group. We loved the saltwater pool and pool floats! Yes, lots of spiders and horse flies but the outdoor screened in porch was perfect to hang out after dinner and play games. The den couches are definitely in need of replacement, but we accommodated with extra pillows from the master bedroom. We had a large group and lots of coolers but the extra refrigerator in the garage/play area stored all our drinks and ice! We can’t wait to go back again with our kids to enjoy all the extras. Thanks so much Sarah. You have a beautiful home and family!

True meaning of getaway!

This property is a bit off the beaten path which we absolutely loved! The home was clean and well maintained but could use some furniture updates. The beds and couches are a bit worn out so sleeping was a bit challenging. The pool and screened in porch areas were our favorites spots. The large living room was great to spend time together.

A very nice, comfortable place

We had a great time at this great property. The house is spacious, inviting, well-furnished and well-equipped. The swimming pool is outstanding and the screened-in porch is a great place for relaxing in the shade. We had 12 in our family group. The house has beds, fold-out couches, and even an air mattress, so everyone had a place to sleep. Sharing the three bathrooms was not a problem. We brought kayaks with us. A steep path leads down to the lake, where there is a boat dock with a slip that can be used by guests. The sunsets were magnificent. For entertainment there are five TVs with Dish and ROKU, and there is a cabinet stocked with board games. Air hockey and ping-pong are also available. The Wi-Fi and Internet service was excellent. We could all be online simultaneously without a problem. Sarah supplied us with some unexpected niceties such as coffee, ice, and even ingredients for S’mores. We felt welcomed and at home right away. We did encounter a few minor issues during our stay, so we reported them to Sarah and we feel sure she will address them. There was certainly nothing that kept us from having a wonderful time. It is worth a reminder that this is lake country. That means bugs, spiders, and spider webs are plentiful. Bring DEET!

Perfect Place for our Annual Ladies Trip!

We loved staying at Rough Riviera! From booking to check-out Sarah was very responsive, answered all of our questions, and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was great. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with all of the items we needed to prepare our meals. The pool was amazing and we loved the screened-in porch! We can’t wait to visit again.

Great home in great location

Home is spacious and had plenty for kids n teens (pool n air hockey table, ping pong, lawn games) to stay busy. Beautiful screened in porch was great for outdoor dining during pandemic. Area is scenic and could certainly b enjoyed in warmer weather.
