Cozy 3 bed 2 bath home nestled right along the banks of Rough River with little boat traffic. A community boat ramp is conveniently located behind house and the main lake is only a 15 min boat ride away. Only a short drive to the beaches of Rough River State Park. Plenty of sleeping area with King and Queen bedrooms and a Bunk room with 5 twin beds. The oversized garage will store a boat or kayaks while you visit. Enjoy a game of ping pong, pool or cozy up by the firepit!! Perfect for fishing!

Great spot for a family getaway!We really enjoyed our time together—playing games, relaxing in the hot tub, and spending quiet mornings and evenings on the deck.We understood the home was remote, but it truly is far from everything, so be prepared for a bit of a drive for groceries or restaurants.One thing we especially appreciated was the genuinely handicapped-accessible layout. It made traveling with my severely disabled brother possible and much easier.The only downside was the rec room, which could use a deep cleaning. We did our best to leave the space tidier than we found it.Overall, we loved our stay!

This is a manufactured home in a hilly remote area. The Kitchen and living space were good and very comfortable beds. The garage was awesome for our 7 year old grandson. The ho t tub was nice but a set of jets didnt work. Overall, a great family friendly home is a scenic area.

Property was as described and well maintained. Some kitchen staples provided I was not expecting. Host was very responsive to questions.Hot tub was great according to my spouse.There was ample room to spread out. Lots of grass and house is on a great loop to walk our dog. Would rent again when I visit family nearby.

Wonderful property with great amenities. The beds were so comfortable and and the included games were an Amazing little gift. We had 4 teenage boys, my daughter and myself for 3 nights. Everything you need to cook. Just know that it is about 25 minutes to the nearest grocery store. There is an Amish farmers stand about 15 minutes away with really great priced fresh produce.

Great stay for a last minute getaway! House is well stocked with everything you need. Host was quick with check in details and we were able to access the house with no troubles. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Could use a big fan in the game room but opening the doors provided a little breeze.

Has everything you need. Perfect for our weekend get away. Quiet, clean, pillows/beds were very comfortable. Our daughter loved the activities in the garage. Hot tub was solid, not all the jets function properly. Little over a hour drive to Mammoth. The drive was easy. Closest town for groceries is about 25 minutes out. We shopped before we left home. Didn’t get the chance to fish. The water was up too high. Talked to one of the locals, he said it was up about 25 feet. The boat dock and shoreline was flooded. Overall great experience. We would definitely go back again.

Beautiful house to stay

We r singh family we really enjoy to stay in your property it was beautiful house for family just one thing no restaurant around to eat. Other than that. Everything is just beautiful. Everything is neat clean whatever we need. Everything is there. I love the hot tub outside overall we really enjoy our stay. We will be back soon thank you.

Great place to take your teens!

Stayed here for 6 days, loved the house it was nicely updated and very clean. Came with just the right amount of imenities for a comfortable stay. Beds were amazingly comfy! We had 3 teens and a 9 y/o and 2 dogs with us, plenty of space and activities for all!

Great Getaway

The house was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was nice! The hot tub was a great addition! The host was quick to respond to inquiries about local amenities.

Excellent property managers

Property managers (owners?) were very accommodating and helpful throughout the booking and stay. The property is just as described and clean. We really liked the large garage and back deck. Our grandkids loved the enormous walk-in shower. Thank you for opening up your home.

Family Meet Up

We needed a place to meet up halfway with our down-south family. It is not easy to find an affordable place that can easily house 4 kids. This fit our needs. With 3 bedrooms (one with 5 bunks) we were comfortable. I would have liked a little more yard for the kids to play in but we made it work and the pole barn play area was helpful in the cooler weather. The hot tub was nice to have as well. A little far from attractions and groceries. Overall a nice comfortable home.

The place was great. The hot tub, river access, peace and quiet. Just what the Mrs and I needed. Plus got to bring out beloved Chloe Bell with us. We're definitely coming back.

Slice of heaven in Kentucky

The beautiful house on the river has everything you need- a garage full of fun interactive games, a hot tub to work your muscles after days in the caves, and endless board games for family game nights in the evenings. There are plenty of screens to use- but between the garage, board games and river access we never had time to use the smart TVs. David the owner replies immediately for any questions and has the smoothest check in/out of any vrbo we have ever used! The house is amazing and I cannot wait to book it again and explore even more of the national park, state parks, fishing in rough river and cave exploring available! Unbelievable find!!! Definitely Worth the drive!!

Nice Place & Clean!!!

We had a very nice stay and the owners were very kind. The place was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the laundry machine not working but the owners came out and replaced it with a new one immediately so we could enjoy the rest of our stay. The bonus game room was a hit for the whole family and we all had a great time overall. Definitely recommend!
