Charming Lake Keowee Home with Private Dock

This newly constructed house on Lake Keowee is paradise. It is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. It has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, sleeps 10 people comfortably. Two bedrooms with queen beds on the main floor and two bedrooms in the basement, one with a queen and the other with a bunk bed and trundle (2 full and 1 twin mattresses). All bedrooms have a lakeview. In addition, there is a very convenient office in the basement if you have to find some quiet time to work. The Wireless Internet is strong and dependable throughout the house.

There is plenty of space to enjoy yourself no matter what you like. You can relax in an enclosed deck or enjoy the sun and some grilling in a spacious outdoor deck. In the basement, there is a ping pong table. Outside, we have a private dock to enjoy the lake with two kayaks for you to enjoy. The cove is a great place to swim, fish and watch the sun rise. If you want to bring your boat or rent one, Sunset Marina is less than a mile away.

We are located 20 minutes away from Clemson University. There are several towns close by to visit. In addition, there are so many beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails. The options are endless.

We welcome long term renters. Now that working remotely is an option, this is a great place to get away to a wonderful quiet town and still be able to work. Rentals exceeding 14 days will be required to pay additional fees for cleaning every two weeks. Please contact me to discuss the rates for extended stays.

Keowee lake vacation

Property is basically new very clean and great location. With the dock being in a cove we had very little boat traffic that made it perfect to swim and relax in the water.

Great time

House was very clean and location was great for us. Being on the lake was a lot of fun. We found many things to do daily. Would definitely recommend this listing. We are already planning on coming back.

We had a great stay! We rented the house for a family weekend/Clemson football home game and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very spacious, even more so than expected. Kitchen was fully stocked which was very helpful and the views of the lake were perfect. The drive to campus was about 25 minutes which wasn't too far to come and go. The neighborhood was beautiful and felt very safe. Would love to rent again!

End of Summer Get-Away

Our family always takes a trip to Lake Keowee as a last get-away before our grandchildren ages 8-12 head back to school. This beautiful home with a still ‘new’ smell was the perfect place for us! Beautiful lake view, covered dock in a peaceful cove. We enjoyed boating and tubing as well as fishing from the dock, swimming and kayaking. The grandchildren asked if we could rent the same house next year!

Fun on the lake!

We had a fantastic time creating memories with friends in this beautiful and spacious home on Lake Keowee. The new dock/boat slip accommodated our jets skis and boat comfortably, and was conveniently located (less than 2 mi) from the marina/boat ramp. The host was always quick to respond, and was very gracious to accommodate our special requests. The home was clean and the kitchen was well equipped, but suggest you BYO lake towels and bathroom essentials.

Awesome house but not great for swimming

The house itself was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with every utensil you could want or need. They even had a rice cooker and a waffle maker! The owners were very fast to respond to any questions we had. The only downside is the dock and swimming area. This house is near the end of a cove, so the water isn't as clean as other areas of the lake. You can only swim off the dock because the beach area has a lot of natural debris (wood, dead plants and branches, large slimy rocks, and some other "stuff". Due to all the natural debris, this area had a bit of a fishy smell, which was a little off-putting and not as desirable to swim in. We had visiting family in a house nearby and their dock and beach were much nicer to swim around, so for us, it was not a big deal. However, if you don't have a boat or another place to swim - until the lakefront is cleaned up, it isn't a good swimming location. A lot of other houses have groomed and cleaned their lakefront, which makes them nicer to swim around. On the plus side, there are a lot of fish near the dock and shoreline, so it is a great fishing location (we noticed a lot of people in fishing boats also seemed to come into this cove to fish, so it is a great spot if you plan to fish). The included kayaks and dock were great, and with our rental boat we could access anywhere we wanted to go on the lake within 15-20 minutes, including some nice beachy islands to swim off of. Even with the less desirable lakeside area, I would definitely recommend this house.

Fabulous time

This property is perfect for two families …the bunk room can sleep 5. Host is super responsive. House was spotless. Great location. Beds comfortable,lots of stuff for kids, fire pit and ping pong table were a nice treat, ice maker and additional fridge down stairs making trips to boat easier, if I had to recommend something it would be maybe some additional towels as we had exactly one per person but there is a full size washer and drier. Would stay there again…fabulous rental property

Excellent Home on Lake Keowee!!!

This is a perfect 4 bedroom home right on Lake Keowee! Home is new, very clean, has a great dock and awesome views. Location is fantastic for boating and enjoying the beauty of upstate SC. Owner is very responsive and home is perfect for families. We stayed a total of 5 weeks and loved it!!

Awesome place! Relaxing and just better than expected!

It was really really nice, and the owner was very accommodating :-) we had lifelong friend staying with us and everyone said it was the prettiest place they had been in a very long time. A much needed respite, and we will try to come back again!

August 2021 at Casa Lago

We had a fantastic month of August at Casa Lago, as the owners have named their wonderful Lake House on Keowee. Every part of the stay was great, from communications with Maite (our host and owner), the check-in/out, the beautiful newly constructed home, the spot on the lake with a quiet cove with gorgeous sunrise, and floating dock. The listing pictures are exactly as the home looks and feels and virtually everything needed is there, clean and spotless. We had the great fortune to have our children and their spouses and children (our grandchildren) visit and they all left hoping to be able to come back next year as they took advantage of the clear/clean lake with all its water activities, learning to water ski, tubing, laughing and swimming and floating. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Beautiful House - Great Lake Location

Wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Located toward the end of a cove, it was extremely quiet with very little boat/jet ski traffic. We enjoyed swimming and lounging right off the dock. The fire pit was a nice bonus for s'mores at night. The house is very new and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need to cook your meals. Seneca is only 15-20 minutes away if you prefer to eat out (Clemson just a tad further). Owner was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We'll definitely be back.

Ready to Buy on Keowee!

Everything was amazing! The house is brand new and they did an amazing job with the design on the house. So much so, we might reach out to the builder to see about building the almost exact house! Love the creativity of the screened in porch and how it opens up views of the lake. My kids asked if we could just stay here and sell our house back home!
