This completely updated & beautifully decorated 4A condo features 2 bedroom 2 bath (sleeps 8) beach front with gorgeous gulf views from a spacious balcony. The best part about putting your toes in the white sand is about 100 feet from complex. It is within walking distance to the Hangout, restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal during your stay. It's also stocked with beach towels, chairs, & toys for the whole family to enjoy while on the beach for less packing. The property also provides on premises parking, elevator, a charcoal grill & picnic area .

Great place

We had a great stay here. Guest room was slightly smaller than appeared online. Still plenty of room for our group. Room was clean and has a nice ocean view. Check in and out process was super easy. Will absolutely recommend the whaler to friends.

We had a good stay. The condo was in a great location. The elevator was broken when we got there but Adonna called the repair person and they got on it. There was construction going on but didn't disturb us at all.

Great condo

Our condo and the area were spectacular. The only draw back was the elevator broke 3 times in 3 days leaving only the stairs for those days for 8 hrs at a time. However, with that said our owner and the property managers were great and help get the issue resolved each time. (After the first 3 days there were no further elevator issues the rest of the 7 days we were there) highly recommend

Great Location

Very nice view and right on the beach. Condo had everything we needed. Showing a little bit of wear and tear but a good value and so nice to be in a smaller complex. No worries about parking! There was construction going on in the complex so it was noisy but overall we enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores and would recommend staying here.

Great location, but condos around under renovation

The condo was clean, well stocked, and perfect location. Don’t let the next part scare you-it’s not this owners fault/problem. The only issue was the construction sounds during the day. The elevator was covered in construction material, too. If you were looking to relax during the day, do it on the beach and not in the condo. The construction only took place during business hours (but forget sleeping in)!

Mixed feelings.

My husband and I enjoyed our coffee on the patio. As far as the place itself, we have mixed feelings. The building is in a state of disrepair. The condo is right across from the elevator and the elevator is very loud. The oven was very dirty. I did not want to cook in it. The condition of the pots and pans was mediocre at best. The TV in both bedrooms did not work properly.The beach was wonderful.

The Whaler 4A

This 2 BR-2BA property was perfect for my husband and I. We loved being right on the beach and the location was convenient for visiting neighboring beach towns. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were quite soft. All amenities were as described. Very clean and comfortable! Would stay again!

I drove my parents to Gulf Shores for a brief winter vacation from Minnesota. We rented for 12 days. My dad, 85, has an electric wheelchair and my mom, 83, uses a standing walker. The unit was perfect. re rented for 12 days.

Very nice vacation getaway

First time to stay in Gulf Shores, will definitely come back. This is a lovely condo with everything you need to be comfortable. Great beach access, literally through the gate and on the beach. Restaurants within walking distance, lots of options within a short drive. Absolutely no complaints, we loved it!

Very nice location. Place was small, not very clean. Door to air conditioner broken, garbage disposal stopped working, toaster only half worked. Kitchen was well-stocked. View was gorgeous. Our fam had another unit, about the same price and theirs was gorgeous. Gulf front view, inside clean and gorgeous. We had a great time

Great place to stay!

This is our second year in a row staying at the Whaler 4A! Reasonably priced in comparison to other and you are right on the beach! Miss Adonna is very easy to work with and the condo is very clean!

Family Vacation

This was our first time to the Gulf Shores, and this condo was perfect for our family, no frills just the basics which fit our budget and lifestyle well. Positioned beautifully to enjoy coffee out on the patio and watch the ocean waves. A quick walk out the back gate straight onto the beach.

Perfect get away

The property is very clean well furnished and updated. It is the perfect quiet vacation and family get a way at the beach. We will definitely be back on a frequent basis.

Almost perfect!

Great location, love that it’s a smaller condo, easy to get in/out. Fridge needs work-shelves we’re broke and we could barely use it.

Great spot on the beach. Balcony views were amazing and there were great things inside of the condo that made the stay better. Only minor thing was the elevator needs a little work. Slow at times. Fairly priced location though and my family and I really enjoyed our stay.

Great location, excellent condo!

Very well maintained and super clean. Kitchen has everything you’ll need, including a crock pot and a hand mixer! Plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a few sand toys were on site and appreciated! Nice and cold A/C. Great location next to elevator. Beautiful corner balcony with beach view of front and back of property. Comfortable seating in living area. Nice pool! Walk right out to the beach! Great communication with host prior to check in. Very friendly. Definitely would book again!

We’ve spent time all down the coast from Alabama through Florida and decided that Gulf Shores/Orange Beach areas are best because of beautiful white sand beaches & less congestion than most
