NOTE: This is NOT a 1 bedroom condo, it's a small studio. The first photo is titled "Bedroom 1" and appears to be its own bedroom.....and the listing specifically states "This separated one bedroom one bathroom condo has full oceanfront views....". Very misleading descriptions, as it'a actually a pretty small studio condo (only a coffee maker, small fridge; no microwave, etc); as such, there's no dining table / chairs inside the unit (there is a low table and two chairs on the patio though). Also, there is a door adjoining another unit, so depending on the occupants next door, it can be bothersome if they are loud.Otherwise, it IS a great location, top floor, end unit with the best bay views, and the complex has a nice pool and tennis courts, a good bar and pizza place. One window has no shade, so bring your eye mask if you expect to sleep in.

Comfy bed with mountain & water views, plus we loved listening to the surf. The view of Hanalei Bay from the balcony is amazing & it was such a wonderful spot to relax. Plentiful bathroom amenities. Seth was easy to access & he gave an accurate description of the unit.

Everything was in order. Clean, nicely updated and furnished unit. Beautiful view of the bay. Staff at resort was friendly and responsive. Resort amenities are great. Great pool, hot tub and beach access. Would have loved to play pickleball if it had rained a little less. There are 6 really nice courts. Would love to return to this unit and the resort!

Can’t beat this place for the price. 3rd time staying at hanalei bay resorts and this was my favorite room I’ve been in by far! Can’t beat the view, cleanliness of the room, or quality.

This unit is stunning, we loved spending time taking in the view on the lanai! The furnishings are updated and clean - we definitely will be back. Fair warning to future guests, you can hear your neighbors, but that should be expected with a shared unit.

Our stay was everything I needed in terms of a relaxing vacation. The room is so nicely updated and well appointed. And the view from the lanai you almost can’t explain unless you’ve been there. It is breathtaking really. The host was quickly responsive to an inquiry and like the last time I stayed in the room, I’m looking forward to coming back.

HBR Room with a view

Great room with amazing view of Hanalei Bay. Loved waking up early and watching the surfers from the Lanai every morning. The description is of the room is accurate. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely view, great value for price

We loved this for our honeymoon and I can't wait to stay here again. Only issue is that there's very little noise protection from the adjoining room so you can hear your neighbors.

Great place to relax

This was the perfect spot for a getaway. Wake up every morning with an amazing view, great property that included a pool and restaurant, and awesome beach access. Short 10 minute drive go Hanalei which had lots of fun shops and great restaurants.

This place was amazing to say the least. We were in love with Kauai and Hanalei Bay Resort. The views were incredible and the resort staff was great. We stayed for 2 nights during our honeymoon since we split our stay up with 3 other locations while visiting Hawaii and this one was by far my favorite due to location and the resort amenities. Everyone was so friendly and we were very close to Princeville and Hanalei. The property was beautiful and our room was clean. Just as pictured. I hope to come back one day. The resort did allow us to pay a small fee to stay and hangout on the property after checkout with access to the pool, beach, courts, hospitality room, bathroom, shower, restaurant/bar while we waited for our evening flight which was awesome and worth the price to hangout that day instead of leaving after checkout. Only complaint is washer dryer access is not free, you had to pay for each one in quarters and we did not realize this until late one night while trying to wash laundry. Not an issue just inconvenient.

The condo is exactly as pictured and described. The views from the balcony are AMAZING! We enjoyed watching the sunset from it each night. The condo was clean and comfortable. The only downside of the condo was there is no microwave. We assumed this was due to it being a hideaway suite and the main suite had the full kitchen. However there was a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. We appreciated the beach chairs that were with the unit. However we were disappointed with Hanalei Bay Resort itself. It has a case of split personality. Is it a condo complex or resort? When we travel we have different expectations for a condo complex vs a resort. We went into the stay expecting it be a resort but it really had more of a condo complex feel. Some disappointments: no place on property to get a real breakfast or lunch, no food/drink service at the pool area, only 2 coin operated laundry machines, no place to put trash(there was daily pick up in the AM and PM but it was weird to leave a trash bag outside and hope someone picked it up), and no recycling. Also parking is a nightmare. You get a parking pass but you aren’t guaranteed a spot. There are two dinner restaurants on property that create a hectic parking situation in the evenings. A few times we had to park illegally and have the valet/front desk move our car when a spot became available. To be clear all minor things and again those are directed at HBR not this specific unit. The condo itself was great.
