Beautiful, cozy cabin on Smith Lake!!!

This cozy cabin is the perfect get away to enjoy the lake life. Relax on the lakeside porch as you watch the boats pass by and at night watch the moon sparkle over the lake.

Situated at the mouth of a cove on Smith Lake (Crooked Creek), this lot provides beautiful scenic views. The property is unique to many homes on Smith lake as it offers a gentle slope down to the water. Perfect for children as they can jump off the swim platform or simply walk into the lake. There is a dock with swim platform and 2 kayaks available for use during your stay.

Built in 2019, the home has all new amenities and furnishings throughout and will make you feel right at home. The open floor plan and shiplap interior make the inside of the cabin just relaxing as the outside. The property is narrow and has a shared driveway with the neighbor so there is limited parking (max of 2 vehicles). If additional vehicles or guests are present you will be asked to leave, no exceptions.

We had such a good time.

The property was clean, modern, cozy and scenery was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with basic dishes, pans, etc. We ate outside after using gas grill for steaks, burgers and chops. We will be booking this cabin again.

Just spent 3 nights. Wonderful, peaceful retreat. Grandkids loved it. Weather was beautiful. This was our 2nd trip. Be back again next summer.

Peaceful Retreat

We stayed 5 nights in June 2024. Beautiful peaceful property. Grandkids swam, fished, kayaked and saw all kinds of critters. They loved it. Quiet area to just relax. We will return. It’s at the top of all the places ive ever stayed.

Happy Peaceful Place

If you want to get away from it all- come here! The front porch view of the lake was a quiet spiritual place watching the sun rise every morning. We had a wonderful week of relaxing. We didn't want to leave!

Great Place

Beautiful place, very welcoming and property owners were responsive to our questions. It's remote but worth the long and winding roads. Beautiful lake views and the fall color was very pretty. Very nice stay!

Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

It was my father and I’s first time at smith lake and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. David was very quickly with communication and incredibly helpful if we had any questions. Can’t recommend it enough!

The house was perfect! Very quiet area on beautiful Smith Lake. Super easy walk from house to lake. Very nice dock for soaking up some sun. Amazing porch for sitting and enjoying the view. Looking forward to booking this place again!

peace and quiet

The house is amazing. That porch! We enjoyed kayaking and camping fun times but then were able to retire to a really nice house (far beyond a cabin). We were able to reset and it was much needed. Thanks!

Peaceful, quiet getaway

We were so impressed with the cabin and cleanliness of the property! The view of the lake is so gorgeous, we spent every waking moment outside taking in the sights. The location is remote and quiet, perfect for unwinding. It was the perfect first vacation as a family of 3.

Great getaway

Went to this Lakehouse the week after Labor Day weekend and we believe this may be why it was so quiet and peaceful on the lake. It was our first time to Smith Lake and it's a beautiful place. The house itself is great, clean, and has all the amenities we needed. We also rented a pontoon boat from a place David recommended and they bring it directly to the dock at the house. Overall, wonderful relaxing stay.

Wonderful Property

Beautiful home situated in Crane Hill, Al. New construction, very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. We are grateful to the hosts who have most anything you could ask for. Take your essentials, as there’s no grocery near by, only a Dollar General, but it has most everything. If bringing a boat I’d recommend using a public launch at one of the two closest marinas. Arrowhead (the closest) did not have deep water due to the water being dropped, thus we used Rock Creek marina-further away, but very nice owner. Not a fancy marina or launch, but it gets the job done. Road to house is gravel & narrow with some hills so be prepared if towing a trailer. Recommend leaving your trailer at marina-house driveway is at an incline. Again, beautiful home, the most lovely hosts and gorgeous location on the lake…and excellent neighbors! Thankful to have enjoyed a lovely holiday with family.

Quiet and cozy cabin on the lake

Stayed here while attending Rock the South. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake. The cabin was absolutely amazing. Would stay here again when we are back in the area!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had the perfect family getaway. The dock area is just right for swimming and relaxing. The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and unwinding in the evenings. If you bring a boat, don’t take it to the house. Go straight to Arrowhead RV park which has a boat ramp. We parked our trailer there for $10 a day because getting the trailer to the property was impossible. We hope to stay again!

Anniversary

We enjoyed the cabin. It’s quiet and the view is awesome! We had some problems with the hot water heater but David was very helpful and did everything he could to make it right. It’s our second time staying here and will absolutely stay again.

Very Nice Cabin and Stay

Blue Luna was a very nice cabin, and we enjoyed our stay! The location was a bit tricky to get to pulling a boat as it is down a long narrow gravel road. Not too bad once we got the hang of it. The hosts were great and everything was clean and comfortable.
