Serenity on Smith Lake! Luxury escape located in Crane Hill, AL, perfect for couples to enjoy the peace, quiet, and beauty of the lake. Take in million-dollar views of emerald trees and water surrounding this newly built home. Master bedroom with king size bed and big screen smart tv. Master bathroom features double vanity, oversized walk-in shower, and soaking tub. Open living room with gas fireplace and fully stocked kitchen, both lined by a wall of windows overlooking the lake. Take in the sunset on a huge balcony with dining table, and two sitting areas. Relax in lounge chairs on a deck just above the lake, and fish or swim from private dock with a boat slip. 30 minute drive from I-65 and Cullman, AL.

AT&T cell service available & WiFi
Security Cameras covering outside perimeter of home, porches and dock, and ring doorbell. Whole house generator will turn on automatically in event of a power outage. Dock Lifeguard shock warning system. Basement is locked off to guests and unoccupied.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Escape…the home was beautiful and very clean:) The lake views and sunsets are wonderful! The house is very well equipped, we did not lack for anything. The host was very responsive! We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Beautiful home with amazing views of Smith Lake! We brought our boat and put in at the public beach/boat ramp on Smith Lake. Local restaurant Drifer’s Bar and Grill was great and also All Steak in Cullman. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely spot with amazing views. Peaceful and quiet, beautifully decorated and was the perfect place for us to unplug for a couple days. Great communication from host. Will definitely return!!!

Great home very serene. Recommend arrival in daytime as owner suggests in manual. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had all we needed. Outside there are a lot of spiders and webs. Didn’t feel comfortable uncovering patio furniture so it wasn’t as inviting to sit outside as I’d like. Overall a wonderful place for a quiet night in.

Beautiful Place

My wife and I stayed here for a short anniversary get away. We had an amazing time at this property. The house itself is beautiful. The views are breath taking in the morning and evening. Any question we had was answered right away by Susan. We loved our stay and will be back soon to visit.

A wonderful retreat

My husband and I spent the weekend at this magnificent home as we needed to just get away for a short time. The house is simply beautiful and the views are amazing. It was truly the perfect place to escape to and unwind for a few days. The back porch overlooking Smith Lake is to die for. You will never want to leave. So glad we were able to go there and look forward to booking it again.

Week at the lake

Property is wonderful. Great view of the lake. Large porch with morning shade and evening sunsets. Rented a boat for a few days and dock was convenient. Smith Lake is clean and has lots to explore. We also made some day trips to falls in Bankhead Forest, paddled Upper Sypsey Fork, saw Natural Bridge and Dismals Canyon

Everything was excellent and first class. The house was beautiful and well kept. The dock was new and very nice. I had a question and Susan was very responsive. The 2 or 3 miles on county roads from the main highway are in we’ll work, but nothing that couldn’t be overcome since I was driving a truck.

Wonderful time at Emerald Escape!

We had a wonderful time at Emerald Escape. The design and decorating inside and the view outside is great. We had such a good and restful time. The mornings out on the upper and lower level with a cup of coffee were just so refreshing. We also spent some time on the dock swimming and watching all the action on the lake. We definitely used the grill each day cooking steaks, hamburgers, and hotdogs. We just loved the quiet and peace especially in the mornings where so many other popular vacation destinations are so crowded. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect spot for a couples getaway! The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, communication from the host was wonderful, and you can’t beat the location right on a beautiful spot of the lake! We will be staying here again in the future

We visited Smith Lake for the first time just a few years ago and immediately knew it was home away from home. We chose to build our lake house in Crane Hill because it is a perfect spot to escape the daily hustle and bustle, enjoy nature's peace and quiet, and take in the beauty and tranquility of the lake, while not being too far from the conveniences of grocery stores, restaurants and businesses in nearby Cullman, AL.

We built our lake house to capture the most amazing views of lake, which you will enjoy whether you are just waking up, sitting in front of the fireplace with a book or watching tv, cooking in the kitchen, or dining or lounging on the oversized patio. You can also fish or swim off the private dock, or just enjoy sitting on the water gazing at the beautiful landscape of trees surrounding the lake.
