We had a wonderful stay at this mountain home over New Year’s and truly appreciated the care and professionalism of the host. When we arrived, the house unfortunately was not yet finished being cleaned due to an unexpected emergency with the cleaner. The host immediately stepped in, was visibly upset on our behalf, communicated clearly, and offered a free night without hesitation. The cleaner was extremely apologetic as well and even brought us free cherry firewood as a kind gesture, which we enjoyed burning during our stay.Once everything was settled, the home itself exceeded our expectations. The views are absolutely incredible! breathtaking mountain scenery paired with clean, clear, refreshing mountain air. Every sitting area in the house felt thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and cozy, creating a relaxing atmosphere no matter where you settled in. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat.The oven worked perfectly for our meals. One small thing to note for future guests: when cooking on the stovetop, it can produce some smoke, and the smoke detectors are fairly sensitive. Opening a window and keeping an eye on your cooking easily solved this.We also appreciated that the drive up the mountain was smooth and not sketchy at all, which made arriving and coming and going stress-free. Overall, despite the initial hiccup, the way everything was handled spoke volumes about the host’s integrity and commitment to their guests. We would absolutely stay here again!!!

The view was absolutely stunning. However, the grill did not work all the way, no kitchen garbage bags were given, the pans were dirty and hard ro clean, and it was not disclosed about the bugs in the cabin.

The cabin was beautiful but the oven did not work. The owner said he would send someone to look at it, but no one ever came. I was very disappointed to read reviews once I returned home that indicated that that had been an ongoing problem and we were not advised of it prior to our arrival at the cabin. Therefore, we wasted money on food that was purchased to cook in the oven.

The view is stunning and exactly as pictured. Wonderful to watch wildlife down below (multiple deer spotted).However, upon check in we noticed we were left with a moldy dirty sponge for washing dishes, 1 dishwasher tablet, and 1 trash bag (multiple night stay with 7 adults). We were also left with less than 1/2 roll of paper towels. There were only 2 washclothes in each bathroom (3). Floors were not well cleaned with visible dirt on stairs when walking up or down. After grocery shopping, we realized the oven did not work and we were left with very little propane so we werent able to cook a lot of items we bought. The upstairs master shower has mold all around the edges and grout. The listing shows that bathroom necessities are included (soap), however they are trial sized and are not replaced so bring your own toiletries. There is only one pool stick with a felt tip so be prepared to share with your group. The large windows in the entry level are very dirty with bird blood at the top. Also, it gets very warm in the entry level because of the windows and the central air seems it can't keep up.All in all I think the company who maintains this property should take better care to ensure the property is clean, and guests have what is needed to enjoy their stay and clean as requested.There are a lot of cookware and utensils in the kitchen and they have both a traditional pot coffee maker and keurig machine. We did not use the hot tub, so can't vouch for that.

The cabin lived up to it's hype about the mountain views. They were beautiful!! Unfortunately, the actual cabin was disappointing as the oven nor tv ever worked. We contacted the vendor and someone came by to check when we still couldn't get any positive results after completing the directiions given.

This place was perfect for our family of five, with some extra room to spare. The views from the decks were amazing and we loved just sitting on the deck with a fire going. The pool table kept our kids entertained while we relaxed after a long day of hiking, and we were able to take advantage of the hot tub each night of our stay.The only slight negative was that the place was a 25 to 40 minute drive to most of the popular hiking spots, but we’d choose the view over that any day. We would absolutely rent this place again the next time we visit the area.

Stayed Memorial Day Weekend for a Birthday

We stayed here for my husband's birthday and we all had a great time. Very low-key but with a gorgeous view. Easy communication and would definitely book again.

Almost Perfect!

So I have to qualify the rating here. This is nearly a 5 star, and I’m sure for most it would be. I may be nitpicking a bit because this really is an amazing place! The property is beautiful! The view is incredible! The amenities were solid!With that said, there were a few minor frustrations. The batteries in the lock were almost dead when we arrived, so we were lucky to get in on a stormy night. Now I wasn’t too upset about it, because we made it in and replaced the batteries without issue. Had we not, it would’ve been a major problem. The property manager would’ve replaced them, but I offered to do it myself. There was some minor damage to some things (blinds, curtains, outside fire place, etc.). The “fully stocked” kitchen was okay, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. Now I completely understand that you can’t carry everything, but there was 1 frying pan and it was not the greatest. Had we had several people there to entertain, it would not have gone well. We ended up buying a small non stick pan for our needs. The barbecue didn’t really work. Some burners lit, but you couldn’t really adjust the flame. Low was about as good as it got. There was no way to cook a steak on this grill (or anything else for that matter). The cover on the hot tub was water logged. The propriety manager has one on order, so it’s being addressed, which is good. We managed to use it once, but it was a lot of work.Overalll, it is a great place to vacation with a few minor issues!

Very relaxing getaway

This house had a beautiful view. Words don’t do it justice. The kitchen as well as the rest of the house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I would highly recommend this house to everyone. I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful View!

We had an enjoyable time! Even though it rained some days of our stay, we had things to do at the cabin. If was very peaceful! The actual property is close to neighbors but easy to access. I would definitely go again! The only suggestion I would make is to label the doors that were locked so that way people feel at ease knowing why they are there and locked.

We had the best week!

This home in the Blue Ridge mountains is amazing! We went with another family and there was plenty of space. The kids loved the downstairs area with pool table tv/couch and bedroom, in addition to access to the hot tub. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and cooked most of our meals there. It was lovely drinking coffee in the morning on the deck and enjoying the views. The cabin was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We went whitewater rafting at the Toccoa campground, tubing in Helen, GA and spent two afternoons at Morganton Point Recreation Area, swimming in the lake. I would definitely book here again; we loved it.

Amazing Experience!

We were looking for a place to view the fall foliage. This place was so magical! We contacted the owner concerning the property next door, which had a hot tub problem that we could see. He made sure that property was taken care of. He was so pleasant to work with on our reservation. We loved the property and the view. Amazing place. We will be back!

Beautiful views—not too far from Blue Ridge

What gorgeous views! This property had the prettiest views I’ve ever had at a rental home. There are neighbors on either side of the house, and the gravel driveway/road felt navigable even in my 2WD sedan. The house was just over 20 minutes to Blue Ridge, but it didn’t feel too far. The drive was scenic, and the roads had no traffic up until you reached the main turn to get downtown. I highly recommend this beautiful space!

A View to Remember

A beautiful cabin that is away from the hustle and bustle of Blue Ridge. Excellent furnishings and has a well equipped kitchen. With a bedroom and bathroom on each floor there is adequate space everyone to have their own space. As the name of the cabin suggests, it definitely has an outstanding view. Would not hesitate returning for another visit in the future.

Hi my name is Ghiass. I live in sunny South Florida and I love it here and Georgia! I love nature and the outdoors and fell in love with the mountains of north Georgia years ago. I used to travel up there and rent cabins for the weekend regularly until I finally decided to own one for myself! I found this cabin and knew it was the one, and after sneaking away from Florida constantly to the peace and quiet of Morganton, I decided to share it with other people too! This is my home away from home and I hope you guys fall in love with it like I did. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery and the coziness and come back again soon!

Quiet area with only a few other cabins in the area. This cabin is peacefully secluded with the sounds of nature all around. The perfect relaxing getaway from work or school.

Morgaton downtown is only 10-15 min away from the cabins, where they can enjoy variety of fine dinning and restaurants. Take a train ride though the city and visit gift stores.
