5 min stroll to the beach or restaurants!
Bright, vintage one level beach home! Our Sallis Soapery Barefoot Bungalow is on the East End, a short stroll to Seawall, Pleasure Pier. Close to the Strand, UTMB, and some of the best restaurants! A quick drive to Moody Gardens or the cruise terminal. Three bedrooms and two full baths mean space for everyone. The granite kitchen is new and fully stocked, and the open living offers plenty of space to spread out. Pets are welcome, with small pet fee.

Weekend getaway

We had 3 adults and 3 children and the bungalow worked perfect for us. Listing was as described and clean! Location was wonderful, quick walk to the beach. Kitchen has everything you need to feel at home.

Precious Beach House

My husband and I along with our son and 2 of his friends enjoyed our getaway to Galveston. This little house was perfect. Plenty of room and had anything and everything you may need.

This house was perfect for our family gathering. We are so grateful for such a beautiful home with very comfortable beds, well thought out details for cooking in the home, and a very peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Location! Location!

Cute home in a great location! Lots of towels and well equipped kitchen. There are beach chairs if needed. Walking distance to the beach. The manual with wifi info, etc was very handy. Thank you!

Set up was perfect for us. Only thing was house would get a little warm (82) weather we cooked or not. (Xtra fan was provided) But we would stay again.

Fabulous location

Best location, 5 minutes or less from major attractions and restaurants. Would have given 5 stars except for one issue which can be easily fixed. Older homes have Manuel latches on the windows. When the wind blows, there is an annoying vibration. .

Wonderful!

We stayed here for the weekend before a cruise and had a fabulous time!! We loved being able to walk to the beach, and enjoyed plenty of space to sit and visit! The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely equipped with everything we needed. Parking on he street was fine- it seemed like there was very little traffic. Enjoyed use of the kitchen. We ran a couple loads of laundry to be prepared for the cruise. We definitely would not hesitate to recommend this house, and even talked about maybe coming back for a longer stay.

Bungalow Bundle for Families

The property looks exactly like the photos inside and out . We had 3 adults and 2 kids , aa well as a small dog . Backyard for the dog wasn't as expected pretty small, but the gates front yard was perfect to let your 4 legged friend out. Quick 5min walk to beach. 15min drive to Moody gardens. 15min from downtown Galvenston . Rooms were just enough space .. full kitchen to cook of you wanted too . No one has to wait for a bathroom. I would definitely stay here again . The Host , Tracy is very responsive, replies quickly!

Great Galveston Launchpad

We were attending the Dickens on the Strand festival in historic downtown Galveston. This property was a phenomenal launchpad for a weekend of activities. It was just a few minutes' drive away from the historic district, which made accessing the festival incredibly easy. The property was a few blocks from the beach, which made our days off particularly enjoyable. We were a short cruise away from all the restaurants and activities the seawall offered. The neighborhood is lively but quiet. We saw plenty of folks out walking their dogs, bicycling, and jogging in the morning. But at night, it was quiet enough to hear the ocean. The only complaint is part of the yard had sandspurs (goathead stickers), which required us to check the puppy when she'd come in from outside. But that was such a minor issue. The property owners were quick to communicate and respond. It was a lovely property, and we'll consider it again when we return for the festival in the future.

Perfect getaway home

The property was exactly as the pictures showed. This was a nice little house for my spouse and I and another friend. The rooms are apart from each other, 2 full restrooms, living room was spacious. No complaints! We ride motorcycles and didnt realize there wasnt a drive way but it does state in the listing (after reviewing) there is street parking. We would absolutley want to book again next year.

A Lovely Beach Experience!

This adorable home was within walking distance of the beach and a very short ride to the Strand. My friend and I enjoyed our weekend getaway visiting the island. The charming beach house in the perfect location was the highlight of our trip. We will definitely be back!

Great spot near seawall

This was a perfect house for walking to the beach and exploring the east end. The house was clean and well layed out for sleeping two couples or families. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clean Rental Close To Everything

Nice enough, could have had black-out curtains for the bedrooms. Not everyone wants to wake up to bright daylight in the morning. Never did get the wifi info even though I sent a message to the owner that night. Would probably stay again if there were darker curtains in the bedrooms.

Nice property

Great place to stay. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Enjoyed the house and our stay very much. A short cab ride to cruise port. We would definitely stay there again.
