I really wanted to love this rental because the location was great. Before our stay, the owner was extremely responsive, usually replying within minutes whenever I had a question. Unfortunately, that changed once we checked in.I reached out to the owner about the issues we experienced, but I never received a response.When we arrived, everything seemed fine at first. However, I found a live roach behind the downstairs bathroom door, and later my son saw another live roach near the side door by the stairs.The downstairs was also very hot. We checked the air filter and found it completely covered in dust. It didn’t cool down until around 7:00 the next morning, making it difficult to sleep.The upstairs tub faucet leaked, and the water pressure throughout the house was poor.One of the bedroom upstairs had a hole in the floor which was then covered with a rug. I first slept on the blue sofa but kept hearing what sounded like something crawling inside it, which made me too uncomfortable to stay there. I moved to the other sofa only to find it was broken.Finally, the home did not match the listing photos. The pictures made it appear much nicer than what we experienced in person.I understand that issues can happen, which is why I contacted the owner before posting this review. Since I never received a response, I felt it was important to share our experience so future guests know what to expect.
