Was very happy with the place! Very clean, good AC, good size for one bedroom and easy to access. Great location close to the beach and the bay and easy parking. A nice spot for a couple or a small family!

Enjoyed our stay

Our only issues were the lack of parking space and the refrigerator was not set up for ice/water dispensing. We loved the quietness of the area.

Easy to get to location. Very close to freeways, beach, and grocery stores. Only drawback was street parking only.

Nice cottage in a good location

Excellent property in the Mission Bay area - perfect for a quick visit with my daughter. Nice, quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. Nicole was a good host and check in /checkout was easy and convenient. Would stay here again.

Small but sweet

It's a lovely space best suited for 2 but it fit our family of 4 fine. The property manager was quickly responsive to refill soap and dishwasher detergent, etc. My only suggestion is that the kitchen could use a few more utensils, plates, cups. Again, plenty for 2, but with exactly four forks and only 2 plastic cups we felt comfortable letting our kids use, we just made do. Otherwise, lovely, comfortable space.

There was too much noise upstairs. You could hear every step. It seemed as if someone was running and jumping with every step. The movement of chairs l could be heard. The ice dispenser from the fridge would make noise and get stuck every time it was opened. Location was good.

Awesome!

I stayed here for about 3.5 months & absolutely loved it! The place itself is so clean, nice, & up to date! I also loved the location! It is all the fun of PB while being on a quiet & pretty street. It is easy to get around to anywhere & street parking was almost always very easy to find. I would highly recommend this place & Nicole was great, accessible, & prompt with anything I needed. The one thing I would recommend would be more out door lighting in the patio area to be able to take more advantage of that space once the sun goes down :)

Mission Bay

The unit was very clean and check-in was easy. This unit is on the ground level so you do have people above you and you ared across from the laundry room. It is off the street so no street noise but there seem to be numerous other rentals on the same property. It was in the 40’s at night (not uncommon in SD in winter) and the tiny electric wall heater is inadequate. It quit working and Nicole , the property manager, was easy to reach and brought us a portable heater the next day (still took 2 hrs to heat the place). Our biggest complaint is the lack of anything comfortable to sit on. The very low couch was torture for my 6’2” hubby and not much better for my shorter self. There are 4 barstools that are useless and just in the way in the small space ((there is no “bar”, just a center island). Also needs a floor lamp for reading. The kitchen is lovely, but could use more flatware and condiments. Nicole was pleasant and responsive. Be aware of “no parking” signs on residential streets all over PB the first 5 weekdays of every month for street cleaning. We saw numerous tickets!!

Wonderful spot in Mission Bay

I have nothing but good things to say about this property and the manager, Nicole! The property is in a great location, is quaint and comfy, and has a great kitchen setup. Nicole was especially great and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay– she was quick to respond to any of our questions and made tasks such as bike rentals a hassle free endeavor! I can't recommend this spot enough!

Roomy, clean and comfortable. Great location / walk to park or hike to ocean. Short drive to mission blvd. Lots of young people in the area but overall quiet during the time of year we visited.

Short drive to everything and walk to beach

The bungalow is in a great location… walk to beach and Trader Joe’s even! The property is on a lot among several other rental units. Everyone I met was very friendly and respectful.

When you judge a book by its cover

We read a lot of reviews and they did not have a lot of negative things to say, but there were many things left out in my opinion. There was the leaky ac unit and I feel like the owner disregarded that people will be cooking and would not be fond of the positioning of it. Although the place has a beautiful remodeled bathroom be aware that when you try to adjust the shower temp it’s either extremely hot or cold with a rare in between and with the shower head, it’ll tend to fall off occasionally since it most likely can’t handle the water pressure. I would not trust the details where the owner explained how it can house 4 people, although my spouse and I did not use it, the other two people would have to sleep on an air mattress in the living room with a big flat screen TV that doesn’t work but with the loud ac unit. I did inform the owner on the Tv in the living room not working, we personally didn’t plan on staying in the house majority of our trip but she did offer coming by to fix it so it’s personal preference. I do not recommend taking anything aside from a phone, that would need to be plugged into an out let onto your trip if you book here. While my spouse and I were cleaning up about to get some work done on our laptops before exploring Mission Bay, we just plugged in one of our chargers and the whole unit lost power. It took a minute for the owner to come out and to fix it she was somewhat on top of it but tried to explain that we shouldn’t use the outlets as much when in all actuality the Tv in the living room that doesn’t work had a big power strip for all of its chords as well for the internet. We did make the best out of our trip since the house is in a good area but if we were to take another trip down to Mission bay we would not be renting or booking from here at all. Yes the unit is nice and elegant but my spouse and I realized that the more we spent time in the unit we realized how it’s not as accommodating or as nice as it was described to be. For a place meant for 4 people there’s only 3 Keurig cups for coffee and make sure you don’t forget anything when leaving.

I am so sorry you felt this way about our home. I came out to fix the power within 15-20 mins of you telling me about it. Since your stay we have replaced the breaker box to ensure the home holds more power, we have also replaced the fire stick to make sure the tv in the living room is working. The home sleeps 4 guests comfortably and we have never had anyone complain about the air mattress before. I’m sorry that the ac was leaking but if you had told me about it I would have came to take a look. Also, you never told me about the shower head either but I would have had that replaced immediately if you did. Since your stay that has also been replaced.

I loved the place

The house was not clean initially. The property manager was shocked , found a cleaning crew and had it cleaned by the time we came back from our night out. Thanks to Nicole for being able to come through! I would stay there again!
