Nestled on Half Moon Lake with beautiful views from Cottage/Deck, this amazing property with a sea front theme has all new interiors with a large inviting living and dining room. Lovely new bathroom with large shower. Deck with grill and patio chairs to enjoy the lake view. Brand new kitchen with Quartz countertops and all the amenities. You can Canoe on the springfed lake and catch bass. Or bring your boat and motor about on this great ski lake. If you want the beach, It is a short drive to Clearwater, St. Pete, Tarpon Springs or Honeymoon Island. The large theme parks such Busch Gardens, LegoLand, Universal and Disney are only a drive away. If quiet is what you are looking for this secluded property provides a place to escape from your busy world. Should you want to watch football, it is only minutes to the Tampa Bay Stadium.

Rhonda and Simon made me feel so welcome. The cottage is gorgeous and they have thought of every detail. The lake view and peacefulness of the backyard were a highlight for me along with all of the wildlife.

Wow!!! The property is spacious, clean, and very nicely decorated and updated. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked for a comfortable stay. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and serene. The host was extremely accommodating, and we will gladly book again next time we visit the area!

I have stayed at Half Moon Lake four times now once with my best friend, once with my husband and twice with my mother there’s a reason I keep coming back. First thing in the morning when the sun is rising over the lake, it’s truly a sight to be seen that view will keep me coming back for years to come. The sunrises is everything there the vibe is magical in the morning if you’re lucky you’ll even see some Peacock roaming around. It’s quite lovely. The cottage has everything you’ll need to stay comfortable. Also the Moffitt Cancer center is nearby if you need to spend any time there this is a lovely place to come back to. I would say the drive in the morning is only about 25 minutes. I’m sure I’ll be back again if I ever have to stay in Tampa, this is the place hopefully I’ll get to stay at.

Family Vacation

My family of 4 stayed two nights on the back end of our vacation. The property was easy to find and check in was super simple. The house had everything needed for our stay. Plenty of parking in the circle drive of the main residence. Nice backyard and view of the lake. If you’re looking for a nice quiet area but, close to Tampa and the airports, this is your rental.

Visited Tampa for graduation

The property is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood by a lake. We loved the area and having a cayak to use helped us enjoy our stay even more. The property was very clean and the directions to enter were clear. Our stay was perfect and would come back for sure. Highly recommended!!

Great, comfortable property

I had a brief stay here while traveling for work. The standalone location was comfortable and spacious. It has a very cozy feel, very much like a home, more than just a rental. Despite feeling remote, it was close to shopping, food, and major highways. Parking was close and safe/out of the way. Great stay!

Supercalifragilistic!

My 3 grandnieces had a sleepover the first night. They rate this 100% wonderful. This is my 4th time staying here in less than 2 years and still 5 stars! Such a cozy and quiet retreat. Will definitely be back!! Much thanks to Rhonda and Simon.

Perfect stay!! Lovely cottage style guest house. Our visit exceeded our expectations. All details on the property were on point. AMAZING open space view of nature and beautiful lake. Location was ideal in a nice neighborhood area. Truly a 5 star rating. Rhonda and Simon our hosts were very welcoming and responded promptly to any inquiries, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the property to its fullest and used the kayak that’s provided. Highly recommend this serene lakeside property. Thank you to our hosts for having us.

Perfect cottage for last minute getaway

This cottage was everything we wanted and more. It was very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. It was in a great location and had lovely views from the deck. I did not realize the cottage was on the host’s property but it didn’t make a difference. I will likely come back.
