En un patio trasero insonorizadas y ajardinada cerca de la famosa intersección de Schoenberg Allee y carretera Eberswalde, pasar por debajo de los tranvías de Berlín Oriental, el metro y la avenida de castaños se fusiona con sus coloridas tiendas y cafés de moda en la parte más tranquila de la avenida de álamos, este acogedor apartamento está en la planta baja un ala lateral. Una cocina con sala de estar, baño con bañera, un dormitorio independiente y una sala de estar, también puede alojar hasta tres personas en, lo hacen además de sus techos muy altos, grandes ventanales con vistas al patio y poco que recuerda a los años 70 para un relajante retirarse después de un viaje lleno de acontecimientos en la vida de la gran ciudad.

Cómodo y tranquilo

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado para ir incluso andando (entre 45 - 60 minutos) a muchos lugares interesantes de la ciudad. Berlín es completamente plana, y es muy agradable pasear y callejear por ella. El transporte público (tranvía y metro) están a menos de 2 minutos. Estuvimos alojados dos adultos y tres adolescentes y, aunque el apartamento no es muy grande, la verdad es que estuvimos muy a gusto porque lo utilizábamos para desayunar y dormir. El barrio es muy animado y seguro, con restaurantes y cafeterías. Buena calefacción y silencio absoluto en el vecindario.

Muy buena Ubicacion

El apartamento estaba muy bien ubicado ya que esta en una zona donde hay ambiente y sitios para comer, los enlaces con el metro, autobus y tranvia al lado. Tanto para ir al centro como para ir al aeropuerto las combinaciones son geniales. La unica pega es que es un bajo y como no hay persianas si te descuidas te ve todo el mundo, nosotros al ir en invierno no tumvimos mayores problemas. Las fotos se corresponden a la realidad, salon comedor con una cama en él, un dormitorio de matrimonio y cocina y cuerto de baño completos.

Until we meet again....Berlin !

We had a wonderful stay at the appartment. All was very nice and clean and the basics (coffeemachine, waterboiler, fridge, etc.) were perfect. The furnishing was simple but for our needs good enough.Allthough the main entrance is in a busy street, the appartment itself is in the backyard of a residential area making it a really quiet retreat after a busy day in the town. Subway and tram are almost at the front door, making it very easy to go in all directions. Some good restaurants (especially Mr. Le vietnamese), a supermarket, a bakery and night shop just around the corner. Yes, all in all a perfect location for a great time in Berlin. Thank you so much Mark and Oliver ! Definitely will come again ;) !

Great location, kitchen amenities could be better

In general we were happy with our stay here. The location is great, close to Prenzlauer Berg's plentiful shopping and restaurants, also close to both U and S line transit stations, and the apartment is well maintained and very quiet. We give it only three stars for overall quality mainly because of the very minimal equipment of the kitchen. If you are happy just to prepare breakfast or lunch it's sufficient, but if you want to cook dinners the very small cooktop and lack of an actual oven (there's only a microwave) make it awkward.

Lovely and very practical flat

The flat is spacious and very practical, the bedding very comfortable, huge bathroom and bathtub, lovely organisation overall. I was enchanted with the very high ceilings in the living-room : excellent place for contemplation, relaxation and meditation. Overall the place has very good vibes ! One of the things that struck me most is how peaceful and calm the apartment was at all times, especially when you contrast it with the busy streets around ! I loved the former "East-Berlin" feeling the apartment building gave off, as well as the streets and colored buildings all around (pink, red and even blue !). The apartment is ideally situated (underground station, tram, supermarket, organic grocery store, drugstore, laundromat, all within 5 minutes of the apartment). I was happy with the communication with my hosts, pleasant and professional. I'm looking forward to staying there again next time I come to Berlin !

Authentic Cold War-East Berlin Vibe

We will start with the positives: excellent location for access to public transportation--with the U2 and multiple trams nearly at the door; the apartment is quiet, a lot of space, huge bath tub, great water pressure, and large windows with adequate light (for a ground level apartment). The building and neighborhood felt very safe. A very vibrant, interesting area of Berlin with a wealth of good restaurants and interesting East Berlin history. On the down side: the kitchen is a bare bones operation. Mini-fridge, hot plate type stove top and so-so equipment. But coffee maker and toaster were fine. The decor is bizarre, paintings on the ceilings--is this a good idea? Weird and dusty fake flowers. And some barn wood siding on a couple of walls. Very eclectic mix of old and kind of new (1970!) furnishings. The owners provided a nice table cloth for the dining area and we bought a plant and some flowers to spruce things up a bit. The bed was comfortable; decent linens; although the bed room is small. So a mixed bag overall, but the positives out weighed the negatives for us. There was something very historic and interesting about the cold war-east Berlin vibe!

Great appartment in a great neighborhood

Everything was perfect. The flat had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The public transportation is super efficient and in 2-3 mins walk you can reach multiple stops. Lots of food options very close. Highly recommended!!!

Wohnung sehr heruntergekommen ...

Die Wohnung war zwar soweit wie möglich sauber, aber doch extrem heruntergekommen und extrem renovierungsbedürftig. Ein nette Unterkunft ist das auch für den doch günstigen Preis definitiv nicht. Ich bin da ein bißchen härter gerippt, aber meine Lebensgefährtin hat sich geekelt :-( Also keine Weiterempfehlung unsererseits.

Great location

This is a lovely apartment, well-situated in a nice Berlin neighborhood. There were three of us there (3 adults) and after a few days (we stayed 7), it felt a little small but for a small family of one small child, it would be perfect. Marc and Oliver were very responsive and gave detailed instructions. The wifi was good as well (not always a certainty in Berlin). There is no laundry facility but there is a laundromat very close by (everything is). Beware, the apartment is made for tall people. I could not reach any shelf other than the lowest shelf in the kitchen and I could not hang my coat in the hallway. A step-stool could help. Overall, a positive experience. I recommend.

Fantastic Location for a Berlin Stay

This apartment is in a lovely neighborhood for shops, restaurants and amenities. Perfectly located for public transportation both in town and out of the city, including the airport. Great for a couple or family of four. All necessary amenities.Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay!

Sehr günstig und ruhig gelegen. Die Wohnung ist dunkel aber gemütlich eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlen deutlich viele Sachen wie zB ein Korkenzieher usw... müsste mal aufgefüllt werden!

Good flat excellent location

This is such a great area to stay, lovely places to eat and drink. Great for transport but tranquil squares and quiet block. The kitchen could have sharper knives and the hot tap in the bathroom sink needs attention but a good place to stay.

War gut
