Located on a private ranch, this newly built cottage is secluded, yet central to more than 20 wineries, distilleries & breweries. LBJ State and National Parks are within 5 minutes. The near by Pedernales & Blanco Rivers provide opportunities in any season.

Full kitchen, only needing your favorite ingredients. A huge double head walk in shower. Casper mattress with fine linens.

Memory making fireside on the deck. Sunrises like no other !

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is practically new, and is situated to take advantage of the nice views. The host provided convenience items in the fridge and bathroom. The location is very convenient to Hill Country wineries like Ab Astris, William Chris and Kuhlman. The drive to Fredericksburg is easy. Visit the Albert Ice House and Dance hall which are very close by. We plan to stay here again!

At first I was skeptical about the location but it turned out to be 10 out of a 10. It’s pretty secluded, lots of wildlife and open skies. The cabin was incredibly clean and well lit. The hosts made the place feel cosy. They have some board games and a Bluetooth speaker. All linens were clean as were the surfaces. We will be returning with our kids next time!

Great place

This place is amazing. The view is incredible. I love how it’s tucked away from everything. Your neighbors aren’t right on top of you like the city. Mr James is very nice and very helpful with the recommendations. More to the location, this place is located in the middle of so many vineyards and distilleries. We will definitely be coming back.

Back again!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful place! The host is always friendly and very accommodating. The house is well maintained and clean, along with the property. Quiet and peaceful. It's centrally located and anything you want to do is just a short drive. Thank you again for a very pleasant stay! We will be back again soon.

Lovely, relaxing cottage with great views

The Absolute Repose - Secluded Cottage was everything it claimed to be. Quiet, beautiful, relaxing, and an overall wonderful place to stay. The views were amazing and the birds singing was a joy. We saw deer, turkeys, horses, and even an orange cat came to visit. We are definitely going to stay here again. James was communicative and even had our names on the board welcoming us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place to get away

We were back for a second visit and it didn't disappoint! The cabin is just as advertised and is clean, well organized, and situated on an amazing property with a beautiful view of the countryside. The best thing about it is you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are actually surrounded by lots of activities including the 290 wineries and Fredericksburg, Johnson City and Blanco, and Luckenbach. But our favorite activity is simply sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and serenity. We'll be back!

An Amazing Find

Perfect for a couples getaway. The host does a wonderful job providing a few toiletries and refrigerator items, as well as towels and linens. The only things I brought, and needed to bring, were my own groceries. Quiet location out in the middle of nowhere, but also close enough to Highway 290 for anything you want to do or get. We loved our stay and would highly recommend others to experience the same.

Absolutely fantastic!

James was a great host and the property was just as expected. Secluded, quiet, and thoughtful details such as a nicely stocked kitchen and plenty of extras in toiletries. We even left one item and James handled getting it back to us in such a courteous manner! We will be back!

We had a great visit at the cabin. It was beautiful, so clean, comfy bed, and the outside porch area was so nice to sit on. We watched the sunrise, deer roaming around, and just relaxed. I can't wait to go back.

Great property!

Very nice place! Everything is as advertised. Pictures hardly do it justice. Beautiful views from the patio with plenty of deer around the house and all along the way. Very clean and well-maintained home. Secluded and the fire pit is a nice touch. James is very helpful and responsive. A+ property and owner. We will be back for sure!

Best Romantic Getaway

I can’t possibly say enough good things about this place We both needed a break, badly. This was the perfect getaway. We left feeling relaxed and replenished; in fact, we didn’t even want to leave! It a short drive to all of the of the vineyards, breweries, and distilleries. We had no problem getting a driver. We had some wonderful evenings under the stars. We love the decor and comfy furniture. The privacy was exactly what we wanted as well. The people in town were so friendly. The host was definitely one of the best hosts I’ve had. Attentive yet never violated our privacy nor made us feel uncomfortable. I love that it’s not a bunch of rentals crammed together, but actual solitude. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Hill Country Get Away

Enjoyed this cute cabin for two located in the Hill Country, perfect for a short get away. Cabin has big windows allowed us to look out and watch the deer as they wandered by. The breakfast supplies James left us were much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the deck, when it wasn’t raining. We came up for the peaches and wine, and some shopping in Fredericksburg. We will definitely be back for all of the above.

Beautiful Views

My wife and I came here for the first time over fathers day weekend. We like secluded places where we can relax in peace on a nice patio. This place definitely fit the bill. The place was clean and well kept. The patio and views were great. There was a nice breeze in the evening to make it very relaxing. We will be back for sure.
