We had a wonderful 4 days at Alexander’s cabin. Even though we arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, the cabin was easy to access annd the road was plowed. And the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous with all the snow. A few blocks away is access to the national forest, which made for some lovely walks with our dogs. You can also see the lake through a few of the windows from the cabin. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was awesome! It has amazing jets and got up to 104! I really loved the location in Carnellian Bay as it is very conveniently located close to Tahoe city. We skied at Homewood, which is our favorite ski spot only 20 minutes away… No lines and the most affordable in the area. We did have one minor incident where a bear tried to get into our car and ended up ripping off the door knobs on the driver side. So warning to all- do not leave any food in your car! Or use the garage… Which is quite spacious. Alexander was incredibly responsive to all of my messages. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay there again.
