Parkin Dollar Point Home

Se pueden disfrutar vistas filtradas del lago desde esta cómoda casa de vacaciones de cuatro dormitorios y dos baños en el prestigioso Dollar Point. Hay dos salas de estar en esta gran casa, con techos con vigas abiertas separadas por una gran chimenea de piedra. Cada sala de estar tiene un televisor de pantalla plana. Hay acceso a la espaciosa y soleada terraza desde ambas áreas de estar, donde puede relajarse al sol o echar un vistazo al lago. Gran garaje, mucho espacio de estacionamiento y una barbacoa de piedra personalizada al aire libre. La cocina está totalmente equipada y hay una gran mesa de comedor. El dormitorio principal se encuentra en el piso superior, justo al lado del comedor. Cuenta con una cama King size y un baño completo. Bajando las escaleras encontrará el acceso al garaje y una sala de lavandería. La primera de las tres habitaciones tiene una cama Queen. El segundo dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama doble. El tercer dormitorio de invitados está amueblado con un sofá cama. También hay un baño completo en este nivel. Hay Wifi en esta casa. La piscina y las canchas de tenis de Dollar Point HOA se encuentran a poca distancia de la casa y se encuentra a poca distancia en automóvil de la hermosa playa de HOA con muelle, instalaciones de barbacoa y voleibol para divertirse en el lago durante el verano. Property was accessed by bears the night before the stay. We were not informed until late afternoon. A switch of locations occurred with help of property management. Replacement was great but not the same atmosphere.

Nice, Quiet Stay at the Cabin

I spent 5 nights here with my family and we all enjoyed the cabin, as well as the neighborhood and larger area. When we arrived, the house was clean and both living rooms offered us ample gathering space to talk and have a nice time. Pros: -In-house laundry units were great to have-Plenty of towels and linens, which were especially great with the sauna-Living room was great as a gathering space-Bedrooms were clean with plenty of bed sheets and pillows-Neighborhood was quiet, beautiful, and very walkableCons: -There were only 4 mugs in the kitchen, which were a bit too few for our group especially when having coffee in the morning. Otherwise the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. -The lighting was a bit dim in some places at night, but I think this is likely due to the fact that it is an older house and most of the lighting comes from lamps rather than overhead lighting-We didn't expect there to be a car in the garage, since the original listing had showed the garage empty. Fortunately we did not need any garage space for our vehicles

This cabin is the perfect spot for a family getaway. It's less than a 5-minute drive to Tahoe City, where you can find everything you need.

New Year’s Stay

Really enjoyed the place. It definitely has an older feel. But we liked it. The view is more than we expected. Enjoyed looking out over the lake. But be advised. Kitchen was missing a lot of staples you’d expect. The tea kettle was rusted. There was only one measuring cup which made it hard to bake. There were a lot of supplies and condiments which were appreciated, but other things you’d expect in a kitchen were just not there. The beds were uncomfortable. The bedding and blankets are just old. Pillows flat. Appreciated it being a pet friendly environment so we could bring our dog. But it didn’t have that lots of pets have stayed there feel, if that’s of any concern. All that being said, we would stay here again. We would just bring more of our own kitchen supplies and blankets and pillows.

Reviewer Comments: The house is in a convenient location just 7-10 minutes from the business district. It's a good size, and has a nice view of the water from the living spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cooking and dining. For the cost, it's a good deal and I would stay again. My only suggestion is to bring your own pillows. I like to have a minimum of two, and those provided weren't in good shape.

Spacious and cozy home with excellent location

The property manager communicated well for our first Air B and B experience. Property clean, spacious and pet friendly with area in front and back to spend time with our dog. Excellent experience and well recommended.

Quirky cabin fun

We really enjoyed staying here. We had 2 families staying and the layout of the house with 3 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs worked out perfectly. The furniture, windows, and bathrooms/kitchen are old and dated but clean and in working order. The location is beautiful with views of the lake from the deck and inside the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house fit our needs and was close enough to Squaw Valley for the race. House and furnishings much older than expected and the animal heads on the walls were disturbing, you should consider taking them down and maybe upgrading the carpet and the TV by fireplace. Also check carpet around showers, looks like there could be mold around the edges under. Loved access to fireplace & firewood - awesome. Consider relocating grill to the deck.

Love This Retro Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spotless, well appointed with kitchen wares, linens etc. The sauna was so nice to relax in. The only complaint was master bed was old. The other beds were great. We would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Winter Vacation!

My extended family and I spent an amazing week at the start of '24 at this wonderful property. The other reviews are quite correct, it is a lovingly maintained vintage 1970's feeling Tahoe home. All the best parts of that style of era and home are here, vintage intercom included! The home was clean, warm, and inviting and proved a great base for skiing and other winter adventures, as well as nice family time by the fireplace playing games and enjoying company. There were only a couple minor issues we encountered, namely that the wrong key was left for us at the property when we arrived but that was resolved near immediately by the host. Also the house book could use an update as it has some confusing/conflicting information in it but that is quite minor. Would absolutely recommend this house!
