Oceanfront luxury and comfort await at this 1 Bedroom ground-floor condo. This condo has 1 queen bed, 1 sofa bed, flat-screen TV's and a private ground level ocean-view porch area. Stroll out the gate of your porch onto the pool deck and is a few steps to the beach. This ground-floor condo sleeps up to four guests between one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and a 32" flat-screen TV, while the bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The main living area has a 65" flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Slide open the glass doors to the porch and unwind to the soothing sounds of the ocean.

Abundant amenities await you at this beachfront resort. Features include both indoor and outdoor whirlpools, lazy river ride, spacious pool deck, and social areas, Oceanfront pools. Indoor pool. Children's Interactive splash and play area. AND BEST OF ALL FREE WIFI!

The room was very clean and exactly as expected. We had a great view and only steps away from the beach. Julie was always available and communication was great.

Quite hours?

We had a great time and enjoyed the property. My only concern was the lack of quiet time after 11 or 12 o’clock at night. On the weekend we were woken up several times by either loud cars or motorcycles in the parking deck or from noise from above condos.

Loved the Beach Front location! Indoor pool area with hot tubs were great! Plenty of pools on the property! Felt safe seeing security officers out and about patrolling around the grounds. Will definition come back again!

Vacation 2024

There were some things damaged in the room (i.e. ripped pillowcases, etc), but nothing that effected our stay or hindered our ability to have a good vacation. I was able to contact someone right away about these things and got a fast response. Check in and check out was easy. The location of the room right next to the pool and steps away from the beach was great for us.

Short Getaway

Nice stay. Right by the pool and easy access to the beach. Could have used more / better pots and pans. No small frying pan. Loved the Kerig. Only one remote worked due to dead batteries. Really no major complaints. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend.

Room not clean. Liquor bottles on floor, shower has no correct water temp level, sink stooped up, couldnt sleep because of noise, no toilet paper, TV didnt work. Overall false advertising.

Misleading

I would not call this place a condo. Way too small no couch. Look like under stove hadn’t been cleaned in a year. Very dissatisfied with property. No warning about cockroach traffic in and out of drain right in front of patio. Location was great just thought I was getting more comfortable space. This was just small space with 2 beds. I would keep bedroom at entrance and make room in front of patio a living area. Who wants to spend all time spent in the room in a bed. Very disappointed in rental unit. Not nearly enough towels for 5 night stay and you are practically cut off from hotel, that goodness the were nice enough to give us some towels and access to laundry because there was only 1 set of bedding. Never encountered this with Airbnb and it’s a good chance I will not use Vrbo again

Eh!

Talking to the owner of the rental over VRBO was great. She was very responsive and informative. The facility itself though sucks. First, when you initially book your stay they send you a long email requesting a picture of your license, credit card, and of your signature, which seems sketchy. I did not supply that information and was never asked for it again (again seems sketchy). The room itself was nice enough, however it did not seem very clean and you could see stains on the sheets from a previous person's stay, which the restore then blamed on us and charged us for it! Also, there are stray cats EVERYWHERE on the resorts campus. Again this is not a reflection of Julia herself but more of the resort.

Pros .. clean, pool literally outside your door as is beach, will stay again Cons.. glade plug in scent too strong.. prefer direct contact with renter through VRBO rather than email, felt overwhelmed with multiple emails and notices about rules

Very nice place to stay.

The condo at Compass Cove was a very nice condo. It was clean and nice. Big Fish Rental which manages the condo was very professional and helpful with questions. The location is first floor ocean front which was ideal for us since we brought our two puppies with us. I would recommend this property for anyone who travel with pets. We enjoyed the property. The only complaint is that there is not a lot of grass area around to take the dogs outside, we had to usually go to the beach.

I would highly recommend bringing extra towels and wash cloths as they only provide very few of both . The air conditioner in the first bedroom was not functioning properly, but the owner did come with maintenance to look at it And unfortunately a part had to be ordered so it was warm sleeping in that room . Also be prepared to have little to no privacy on the balcony area as the pool area is directly by the balcony . Other than that , our stay was pleasant and the place was nicely remodeled . I loved the fact that pets are welcome as we were traveling with our goldendoodle 🐶.

The worst place you can stay at!

We left this morning around 10. I do have a few recommendations regarding the cleanliness of the condo. When we first arrived the floors seemed to have been slept, but not mopped. Behind the nightstands and dresser, there are crumbs, hair and dead bugs. I sent a picture earlier to Julie about the comforter on the first bed as you walk into the condo, it was ripped and seen to be patched up a few times. There were grease stains on both comforters. I mention these issues just in case you were not aware. Your condo rental posting claims how important it is to check out by 10 am so the cleaning crew will have plenty of time to clean the condo for the next renters. I suggest maybe using a different cleaning company. We were supposed to be there until tomorrow, but I could not sleep one more night in a not so clean environment.

Noisy Myrtle

The apartment was on the ground floor so our grandson could play while we could keep an eye on him. This turned out to be a mistake for us. Two of the three nights turned out to be very noisy into the early morning. One night was loud music which came from the suite above us and the second from a loud group partying outside the room. Never will we take a ground floor apartment again nor use VRBO where we are stuck with the accommodations.
