We have stayed in this property multiple times and I can say it is the best property I have ever stayed on. This place is perfection! The home is perfect. It is a great size. It is comfortable and clean. The beds are amazing! They provide everything for you. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I loved waking up to the sunrise and the deer and spend the afternoon in the pool and hot tub. I cannot wait to return!

4th of July Vacation

House was great, plenty of room for 2 families and master bedrooms were amazing and beds were very comfortable and could hear what was happening upstairs so great house design. Canyon Lake is so low, no lake access and only get lake view from top balcony. Home cleanliness was a 3-4 as the service they are using could have done better on the floors upon arrival. The keypad on the front door is broken and we basically kept the door unlocked our whole visit because the pad itself is almost inoperable. The front and back porch is needed to have been blown off. Nice place but since there's no lake access, we probably will not be rebooking.

So close and so far away

We stayed here as part of a 40th birthday celebration. The house is beautiful and the pool was exactly what we wanted. We came in from only about an hour away but it felt like we were on a different planet! It was quiet and serene and the deer came out every night. It was a great place to for togetherness and relaxation. We’d recommend this property without hesitation.

Great house and pool area.. Kitchen and living room is very nice age relaxing.. Tons of space to relax including beautiful patio area.. Only disappointment I really have is the lake pictures are not updated which is big part of why I selected the house for our lil trip.. There is no lake as pictured behind the house definitely has dried up alot didn't think it was that bad.. But overall fun house to relax at.

We could not get over how fantastic this house was. We have rented numerous places over the years, all over the world, and this was by far the best ever. Scrupulously clean, very comfortable, well-equipped kitchen, sparkling pool, and great outdoor space. What more could you want? Seriously: It's worth every penny.

Beautifully well stocked home with well kept amenities! Loved the double washer/dryer and fully stocked kitchen. My only “suggestions” would be that a house for that many that was that nice and that big….. needs a second fridge and two ply toilet paper! And just because it's lake front, just know that access to water is sketchy and not recommended)

## Disappointing Stay: Significant Issues with Accuracy, Pests, and ServiceOverall Rating: 2 / 5 StarsWe booked this property expecting a premium, relaxing family getaway, but the experience unfortunately fell quite short of the listing's description. While the pool was lovely and our kids enjoyed seeing local deer, several serious issues significantly impacted our stay:Pest & Safety Concerns: We were very concerned to find live scorpions inside the home—specifically in the bathroom and on the kitchen counter near the stove—as well as around the pool area. The outdoor spaces also had an overwhelming number of bugs, making it difficult to fully enjoy the yard.Misleading Location:The listing explicitly markets this as a "lakefront" property, which is inaccurate as the water is nowhere near the home. Past reviews show this has been a recurring complaint from guests, yet the description has still not been corrected.No Wi-Fi & Unhelpful Service: The internet was completely down for our entire 3-day stay, causing a major inconvenience with four kids. When we contacted management, they were slow to respond and dismissive, stating it wasn’t an "emergency" because amenities are not guaranteed.Poor Maintenance: Despite a high mandatory cleaning fee, the outdoor grill was covered in thick, old grease and clearly had not been cleaned in a long time.Between the pests, the inaccurate description, and the lack of helpful customer service, we unfortunately cannot recommend this stay.

Several of the claims made do not accurately reflect the actual circumstances. Our team maintained consistent communication throughout the entire stay and responded to all correspondence promptly. Regarding the internet outage, we contacted the service provider multiple times and dispatched a team member to the property to assist. However, this issue was entirely outside of our control. This was the result of a documented storm-related utility failure affecting the neighborhood, specifically a damaged telephone pole. As clearly outlined in our Terms & Conditions, internet service is provided as a courtesy through a third-party provider and is not guaranteed. Concerns related to scorpions and the grill condition were not reported during the stay, despite ongoing contact with the guest. We maintain a routine pest control service and conduct documented inspections before and after each reservation. We were not given the opportunity to remedy these claims. Additionally, we stand by the accuracy of our listing. This property is lakefront. The water levels fluctuate. While we regret that this stay did not meet expectations, we are confident that our team fulfilled all responsibilities appropriately and acted in accordance with our policies.

Family trip

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! We spent almost all of our time relaxing and swimming at the house. We only had a couple of issues. When showering, we never felt like the hot water got very warm. We had an issue with the garbage disposal and dishwasher not working, we called the manager but my son plugged them into a different plug and they started working. We could have used a few more bath towels for our length of stay. Other than that we had a fabulous stay!!

AMAZING WEEKEND GET AWAY

We spent the weekend at Whispering Waters. What an amazing spot. I travel extensively and this property hit the mark on every level. The house is well designed, the pool and hot tub are such a bonus. There is everything you need - they have stocked the kitchen etc so that you don't have to take anything with you. The area is lovely and quiet. I would definitely go back. The team at Vacay Hill Country were amazing. They are so responsive and check all is going well during your stay. I would definitely book through them again. Overall, everything between the house, the area and the team surpassed all our expectations. I would highly recommend this property and the team at Vacay Hill Country.
