House plus Summer Cabin on Boulder Lake

Main house and summer cabin (May -Sept) included in rental. Main house has three bedrooms with lake views, two baths, AC, fully outfitted kitchen with dishwasher, a woodburning fireplace, scenic deck overlooking Boulder Lake, firepit, private dock, and grill. Summer cabin has kitchenette, two bedrooms, one bath, and scenic view of lake (no AC). Main house sleeps 7 adults plus 2 children. Cabin sleeps 4 adults and 1 child. Main house has wifi, flat screen tv with Netflix & Disney, and board games.

Frog Bay house and cabin are located half mile from town and the Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail. Paddle the Manitowish, watch the otter, or fish Boulder Lake from the dock. Enjoy a 500+ acre lake with great fishing. Included with your stay is a rowboat, paddleboat, canoe, and kayaks. Lots of wildlife in the yard.

Year-round nearby activities include fishing, boating, paddling, snowshoeing, cross country and downhill skiing, biking, hiking, golfing, scenic drives, and waterfalls.

We follow health department regulations for hotel cleaning standards.
*Towels, linens, blankets, and sheets are washed and stocked in linen closet.
*Mattress pads are treated with disinfectant.
*Showers, sinks, toilets, and baths are bleach treated and cleaned.
*House is vacuumed and dusted for each guest.
*Beds are not made. Fresh sheets are placed on bed so that you know that each bed has clean linens. You will be responsible for making your bed.
*Quaternary disinfectant (used in healthcare facilities) is used on all hard surfaces and door knobs.

Great Cabin!

A wonderful cabin for a family vacation. Our family of four went up for a vacation after Christmas and had a great time. The cabin is in a great location and has all the amenities you need. Also, being able to bring our dogs made the trip even better. We would definitely go back again!

Fantastic

We enjoyed a great family gathering. The house and cabin are on Boulder Lake, nestled in a cove. The host had a canoe, kayaks, and a paddle boat for us to use. The lake was a comfortable temperature for swimming. The pier was great for fishing although my 6 year old grandson didn't catch any thing. The house and cabin are located about 3/4 mile from downtown Boulder Junction. We walked into town a couple of time. Locate about 1/2 mile from the house is a local restaurant where we enjoyed some outdoor live music on Saturday evening. Great place for a get away.

Great family vacation!

We loved the house and its location on Boulder Lake. My husband, my six adult children and I stayed there. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean and very well stocked with dishes, towels, etc. We loved having the canoes, kayaks and boats available to use on the lake. The patio area is great! We used the firepit-there was plenty of wood available to use. We really enjoyed the town of Boulder Junction, too. There are wonderful bike trails there and we were able rent bikes for the whole family. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would love to come again!!

Great vacation

The property was perfect for what we were looking for. Great views, lake access and the house and cabin were very clean and had everything we needed to cook, grill, etc…. We swam and had great fishing! We would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent

The night before we came up, there was a bad storm that had went through the area. The owners, Howard and Sarah, kept us updated and informed on everything that was going on. That did not stop us from having a great time. The property was beautiful and everything was exactly what we wanted for our stay. I can not say enough great words about the entire trip, owners and property. This was the best family trip yet!!

great place on a lake by Vilas County bike trail

We are a group of friends who find a property to rent every fourth of July to bike on bike trails. This is one of the best we have ever been to. Being on a lake was a huge bonus for us since we were primarily biking. Nice big place well set up for short term renters.

Wonderful lake home

The house was clean and nicely updated and had everything we could possibly need and the lake was beautiful. The hosts were great to work with. It is perfect for a fun and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!
