Parkview Cottage #10 One Half Block to Beach - Sleeps 2

This cute studio cottage sleeps two in a full bed. Separate bath with spacious new shower. Walk to the beach, small fridge, and 4 cup coffee maker (please bring filters), A/C and complimentary Internet, Cobble stone fire place but please only use DuraFlame logs, One at a time. Pickle ball courts just one block away. This is our least expensive cottage, perfect for a quick getaway. It is a small cottage! So if you are a larger person and require more room, I would suggest another cottage.

New mattress and sound insulation installed recently for your comfort!

Parkview is a non-smoking campus. Smoking is not allowed on the resort premises.

Conveniently located by the beach, which is where we wanted to be. Very close to downtown for restaurants. The cabinet itself was very clean and cozy.

Great TIme

I had a great time in Ludington and at my Parkview rental! Jeff is a great host. The location is so close to the beach and in walking distance of downtown shopping & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great for a small family

We have a small family – just my spouse and I and our infant. This unit worked perfectly for us because we were able to snuggly fit the small, portable crib in the corner. Outside of that, There’s not a lot of space to move around – the pictures tell a pretty accurate story. However, we loved our time here! The walk to the beach was literally three minutes and the walk to Ludington Avenue for dinner and ice cream was 10 or 15 minutes at most. Absolutely perfect for a small family!

Very Accessible and Close to Beach/Town

We found the cottage to be a bit cramped for our liking. Also be sure to pay attention to the description of the amenities as they are minimal. A coffee pot is included, but we didn't attempt to use it as you had to use an extension cord to plug it into the bathroom, also we didn't see any coffee mugs other than what appears to be decorations on the mantle.

Highly recommended!

GF and I had a blast over fourth of July weekend. Place is as advertised. Clean and tidy upon arriving. Jeff was very quick to responding to any messages. Very friendly community. Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommended for a couples retreat.

Great!

This cabin was very cozy! We spent our weekend out shopping and lots of beach time, it was nice to come back to a clean cabin with a comfortable bed, put on a movie and fall asleep.

Lacked some on the amenities of other units, but adequate for the space. I would hardly suggest a new mattress for the bed!!!!

Fun Getaway

The cabin was clean, cute and cozy and perfect for our weekend getaway. We appreciated the fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toiletries. The cabin location is perfect! Just a short walk to the beach, mini golf, and the Pier. If you enjoy walking, you could even make it to downtown where all the shops and restaurants/bars are. It's also just a short drive if you forgot anything and need a store.

The unit was very small. The bed was horrible, towels were old, shower was nice, the rest of the bathroom was very poor. Walls were paper thin, easily heard our neighbors.

Parkview Cottages

This is a group of old cottages likely dating to the 1930s . The one we stayed in(# 10) was completely updated with new shower, a mini-split A/C unit, flooring, etc. Because they are old they are located really close to the park and beach which is a gem. The only downside to this particular unit is that it has a shared wall with the other cottage which allows noise from the other side to easily be heard. I think we’ll come back and will rent one of the larger, freestanding cottages on the property which should eliminate the noise issue with this particular unit. Overall Ludington was great, good restaurants, nice beach/ park and of course Ludington State Park

Ludington Cottage 1 minute walk from beach!

This cottage was perfect for my boyfriend and I as we spent a long weekend in Ludington. The neighborhood was extremely safe and a nice area for walks. The beach is a 1 minute walk across the street. We loved how close it was to the beach! Downtown is not really walkable unless you want to walk 20 minutes to get there. The downtown area had so much to offer! As for cabin #10, it was quite small but fit my boyfriend and I perfectly. There are no dishes, silverware or cups available in this cabin so if you’re planning to eat anything there or have leftovers, bring utensils and plates! The grill area is located just around the corner from the cabin and provided grill utensils! We loved this feature. Overall, we would 100% stay again as it was perfect for what we wanted out of this vacation.
