Parkview Cottage #10 One Half Block to Beach - Sleeps 2

This cute studio cottage sleeps two in a full bed. Separate bath with spacious new shower. Walk to the beach, small fridge, and 4 cup coffee maker (please bring filters), A/C and complimentary Internet, Cobble stone fire place but please only use DuraFlame logs, One at a time. Pickle ball courts just one block away. This is our least expensive cottage, perfect for a quick getaway. It is a small cottage! So if you are a larger person and require more room, I would suggest another cottage.

New mattress and sound insulation installed recently for your comfort!

Parkview is a non-smoking campus. Smoking is not allowed on the resort premises.

Conveniently located by the beach, which is where we wanted to be. Very close to downtown for restaurants. The cabinet itself was very clean and cozy.

Great!

This cabin was very cozy! We spent our weekend out shopping and lots of beach time, it was nice to come back to a clean cabin with a comfortable bed, put on a movie and fall asleep.

Great Stay

The cabin was perfect for me and 7 year old daughter. It was a very close walk to the beach and close to downtown. We really enjoyed it.

Highly recommended!

GF and I had a blast over fourth of July weekend. Place is as advertised. Clean and tidy upon arriving. Jeff was very quick to responding to any messages. Very friendly community. Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommended for a couples retreat.

I had a great time in Ludington and at my Parkview rental! Jeff is a great host. The location is so close to the beach and in walking distance of downtown shopping & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location

The cottage is small but cozy. The location is amazing! We had a great time. I’d suggest you bring coffee, as there was a maker but no coffee, a hair dryer, and firewood ( duraflame).

Fun Getaway

The cabin was clean, cute and cozy and perfect for our weekend getaway. We appreciated the fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toiletries. The cabin location is perfect! Just a short walk to the beach, mini golf, and the Pier. If you enjoy walking, you could even make it to downtown where all the shops and restaurants/bars are. It's also just a short drive if you forgot anything and need a store.

Very Accessible and Close to Beach/Town

We found the cottage to be a bit cramped for our liking. Also be sure to pay attention to the description of the amenities as they are minimal. A coffee pot is included, but we didn't attempt to use it as you had to use an extension cord to plug it into the bathroom, also we didn't see any coffee mugs other than what appears to be decorations on the mantle.

Hi David Thanks for the input! I believe David was referring to the toaster oven/hot plate/coffee maker that drew a lot of amperage and needed to plugged into the GFI circuit in the bathroom. Since David's stay, we took that device out and replaced it with a simple 4 cup coffee maker that can be plugged into any outlet. We also, in all of our cottages, began to provide to-go coffee cups with lids for your favorite beverages :) The coffee mugs you referred to are fully functional and very fancy, so they may be used. Please don't be intimidated by their appearance and use if you would like too. As far as the size of the cabin, it is small and not suited for all guests. So if you are a large person, please do not book this cottage. This cottage was built in the 1930's and changing it's footprint is simply not an option. Our other cottages have more room to spread out. This particular cottage offers few amenities so that we can keep the price relatively low, compared to other cottages, many of which are not that close to the beach. Anyway the coffee situation has been addressed. If you are planning on booking this cottage, coffee filters are not guaranteed to be there so that is something you may want to bring with you. Great for a small family

We have a small family – just my spouse and I and our infant. This unit worked perfectly for us because we were able to snuggly fit the small, portable crib in the corner. Outside of that, There’s not a lot of space to move around – the pictures tell a pretty accurate story. However, we loved our time here! The walk to the beach was literally three minutes and the walk to Ludington Avenue for dinner and ice cream was 10 or 15 minutes at most. Absolutely perfect for a small family!

The unit was very small. The bed was horrible, towels were old, shower was nice, the rest of the bathroom was very poor. Walls were paper thin, easily heard our neighbors.

Hi Catherine I just started receiving comments about the mattress in 2024. Before we open in May 2025, I am going to install a new mattress and box spring and insulate the wall between cottage 9 and 10. Hopefully that will keep everyone comfy and happy! :) If you are unhappy with things I can immediately address such as towels, please let me know during your stay. New replacement towels could have been sent. right away.
