This classic lakeside house has lots of character coupled with everything needed for a comfortable stay – we love it. Our group includes grandparents, adult children and grandkids who can’t get enough of the lake. The weather was perfect this year, so lots of time was spent on the beach (thank heaven for the outdoor shower). We enjoyed the enclosed porch for reading or napping in the breeze and even sleeping out there on a warm night. The large kitchen and living room provided plenty of space for game nights and big family meals. Thanks to our host for sharing this lovely house - we’ll definitely be back next year!

We had such a great stay here. It was me, my husband, and our three little kids (all three and under), and the house was perfect for our family. There was plenty of yard space for the kids to run around and play, and we really appreciated having a Pack ’n Play and baby gate available. One of our favorite parts was spending our evenings outside, sitting on the bench just off the back deck and looking out at the lake. It was such a peaceful way to end the day.The house itself has so much character and charm, and you can really tell it’s a special home. Our host was also wonderful and always responded quickly whenever we had a question during our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again!

Another magical stay

The lake worked its magic again on this, our 3rd stay at The Old Lake House. Such a comfortable property with a fine patina and such gorgeous views and breezes and so lovingly cared for.

Charming Place

Very cute house in a great location. The property manager was great and house had everything you could need. My only critique would be that the mattresses are rough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Love the Lake!

This comfortable, inviting house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay at the lake. Our family spent as much time as possible on the enclosed porch, deck and beach to enjoy clear summer days, beautiful sunsets and pretty cool storms over the lake. We look forward to visiting again.

Adorable quaint lake house

We loved our stay here!!! We brought our kids for the first time to Cedar Point and the location was absolutely perfect to get back and forth to CP. You can even see CP from the beach in the distance across Lake Erie, so so pretty at sunset. You are literally right on the lake! Book this property you won’t regret it. We LOVED it!!!!
