OCEAN FRONT: spacious, remodeled 4th floor condo

This ocean-front, ocean-view condo is a vacation favorite for families and friends. Maui Sunset Resort is one of the premiere resorts in all of Kihei. The resort itself has beautifully trimmed grounds, a family-friendly pool and hot tub, shuffle board, tennis courts and more! The unit is spacious, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Our condo, on the fourth floor, is ideally located on the oceanfront end of the resort. An elevator will take you to the ground floor, where you are a 1 min walk to Sugar Beach, and you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean from within the condo. The unit comes fully furnished to meet all of your vacation needs. Enjoy dinner at the large eat-in island inside and your evening beverage on the patio. You will also enjoy the plush, comfortable beds, free WIFI, and Smart TV’s for an evening movie.

Alongside Maui Sunset is the longest beach on Maui, Sugar Beach. With a nearly 5 miles stretch of continuous sand, Sugar Beach is a great beach for a morning run or a romantic evening walk. In the mornings, the snorkeling off of Sugar Beach is one of the best kept secrets in all of Maui. Only 50-100 yards off shore you can see colorful coral, marine life, and if you’re lucky, the famous Maui Honu (turtle). Also experience the famous tradition of outrigger canoeing off of Sugar Beach with the Kihei Canoe Club., where you can take part in an invigorating circuit off shore. If windsurfing is on your agenda, the afternoons are when you will see more of the water sports enthusiasts off of Sugar Beach.

Within walking distance of the condo are restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores, while Costco and the airport are a short 20 min drive away. Kihei is also a great central location for any of your day trips around the island. Kaanapali is a 40 min drive North and Wailea is a 10 min drive South.

It was a wonderful property for our family of 6 to share-The lanaii views of the water and sunsets are amazing-The kitchen was spacious -accomodated all of nicely for cook-outs from the grills on the grounds.Totally enjoyed our beach walks from the property -pool and sauna nice -and the atmosphere is very family oriented.Highly recommend!

BEAUTIFUL VIEW. Great to see the ocean and sunset from a spacious balcony. Large open kitchen and living room had plenty of space. The grass was like a golf green, perfectly manicured. Everything very clean. We loved our stay!

Great Ocean View Location

The corner ocean view 3 bedroom condo was perfect for my family. The condo was accessible with the elevator for my mom as well.

Great family stay

Two families with young children. We loved the open feel and huge kitchen in the condo. The pool and amenities were great and we loved being on the park, plenty of space for the kids to run around.

The unit was in a perfect spot for the amazing sunsets, plenty of room for 6 adults and a toddler. Centrally located to most stores, the pool and beach area all well looked after. Would definitely come back

Excellent for family

The unit was beautiful, well supplied and clean. The location and ease of access is wonderful. Very easy access to a nice little beach where we saw three sea turtles. However you will want some sort of water shoes as there is a lot of coral under the water. The amenities are excellent at the property, pool, tennis courts, etc. We will certainly plan to stay again at the Maui Sunset!

Excellent stay

The unit and property were as advertised. The unit was on the fourth floor which gave beautiful views of the property , ocean and sunsets . The property itself was very well maintained! They cleaned the pool each morning and its upkeep is obviously a priority. Would stay there again for sure .

Fantastic Condo in a great complex and location!

We will definitely be coming back! The unit is beautiful, modern, clean and secure. We cam on a family vacAtion (5 adults) and had plenty of room to relax. The unit is well updated, clean and modern. The pool is well kept. The beach access is fantastic. A great place to stay!

Great condo, Fabulous Location!

This Condo had it all! We loved it so much and would 100% stay there again! We watched whales right from the balcony every single night and morning! There was tons of space, it was clean and everything worked as advertised! Highly recommend!

Beautiful view & great amenities

We had some slight difficulties getting our pool fob the first morning because we didn’t contact security the previous evening. We weren’t aware that security doesn’t respond in the mornings so we had to wait until 12:30 when the office opened. We also had an issue with the master bathroom shower head leaking but after reaching out to our contact it was quickly fixed. The only other criticism would be that the floors could use a good deep cleaning and the living room AC and clothes washer are super loud. Otherwise everything was positive. My favorite part was the patio with a spectacular view. We greatly enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. The beachfront and pool were top notch. Our family greatly enjoyed our time there and created memories to last a lifetime!

Our time at Maui Sunset

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.The unit is older, but had been updated, but needs some TLC. The A/C in the kitchen as so loud that we couldn’t easily hear one another talk.The cleanliness was on the edge of being unacceptable. Fingerprints on glass table and door wall. One toilet had not been cleaned. Article of clothing and dirty paper towel on the patio. I’m sure the owners pays substantially for the service, but they need to complaint or get a different service. I could add more, but I’m sure you get the picture.The towels were wonderful and beautifully white.

Great Location

Great location and place for family trip! Place could've been a bit cleaner and sheets didn't seem fresh. Also the toilet seat was broken on one of the restrooms, which was a concern for my elderly parents. Otherwise, it was nice having a wash and dryer in unit. The view is amazing and such a short walk to the beach. Definitely recommend if you prefer not to stay at a resort.

Great location

Loved the proximity to the beach and everything in town. Great location. The condo is great for a big family. Kids loved the bunk room. Pool was great. Only thing is the residents of the condos definitely make it less welcoming. Not pleasant people. And the condo was clean enough but definitely needed to be deep cleaned.

Great location. Nice property.

Overall we had a great stay. Condo is as advertised. The property grounds are really lovely and the oceanfront views were spectacular. We knew going in that the room with the bunk beds would be a little tight for our group but didn’t realize how tight. We had two adults and three kids in there which left little room for the luggage. Location is great with a small strip of sandy beach in front of the property and lots of great restaurants nearby. Would definitely rent this condo again.

Multi Age Group

This booking was obviously compared to others on sight recently remodeled and lovely. A few quirks but we felt at home. The complex seems to serve an older clientele which made us feel very safe with our teenagers running around the property. My senior mother in law was very thankful for the elevators and that there was so many restrooms. It was minutes away from lots of great food options and grocery stores which we were all thankful for.
