Ciboney Condominiums está ubicado en 2076 Scenic Gulf Drive, Destin Florida 32550 (se denominó Old 98) Private Gated Beach Walkover para este condominio 'penthouse' del 4 ° piso con 2 habitaciones más una tercera habitación separada con literas. Construido en 1999 Podría dormir hasta 8 personas con una cama king size en el maestro, 2 camas individuales en el segundo, 2 literas en la tercera cama / habitación con literas sería perfecto para 2 niños, y un sofá cama de reina en la sala de estar. Hermosa vista del Golfo de México.

Situado cerca de restaurantes, parque de playa, waverunners, kayaks, sillas de playa y sombrillas en la zona tranquila de East Destin. A menos de 150 pies de la playa privada y de la duna cerrada al cruzar la carretera de la playa de 2 carriles (30 mph) llamada Scenic Gulf Drive.

Excelente ubicación para toda la familia ya que está a medio camino entre Silver Sands Designer Outlet Mall, Grand Boulevard y las tiendas exclusivas de Sandestin y Destin Commoms para las chicas y los charters de pesca y los 7 campos de golf de Destin para los muchachos, además del Big Kahuna's Water Park y The Track Amusement Park para los niños, pero lejos de todo el tráfico del centro de Destin.

Absolutely wonderful!

The property was clean and perfect for our family of 6. You could walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Jody was a great host and the house came with everything you needed. Will be staying there again!

We had everything we needed and the stores and food was so close . The condo was perfect, the beach wasn't crowded and it was gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation

The property was very nice and clean. Beach across the street. There will be a good bit of stairs to go down to get to the beach from the gate at street level. The pool on the property is very nice. We enjoyed the quiet nature of the location seemed to be very family friendly. We would stay here again.

Perfect vacation!!

Our family had an incredible spring break. The Condo was clean, stocked with everything we needed. Jody was available to answer any and all questions that we had during our stay. The condo complex is older, but well maintained. The location is PERFECT!! We will Definitely return to Ciboney!!

Happy place

Place was neat and clean, easy access to the private beach. We spent most of the time at the beach so only used the place for breakfast, showers and sleep time. TVs at night time.

Florida stay

Would have booked somewhere else if i would have know the extent of us cleaning before leaving the condo. We had to do laundry and do all the dishes and put them all away. Ridiculous especially whem we had 3 kids with us to pack up etc. Not that we would have left them a mess, but why am i paying cleaning fees etc if i have to do it all before i leave. I get load the dishwasher, gather dirty linens, take trash out etc .

Awesome!

We arrived am hour early and Ms. Jody was kind enough to let us in, condo was already clean and waiting for us. We had a minor set back when our fridge was not cooling and we had already purchased groceries but Ms. Jody helped us with the issue and even sent us videos on how to work it, then at one point our lock's battery went out and Ms. Jody again sent someone out to replace batteries. Luckily, we had a pontoon rental so we were not bothered by it, by the time we made it home, the lock was working again. The condo was clean and had a home feeling. We were able to see the beach from our bedroom balcony and location was great for a quick grab and eat. Awesome place at an awesome price.

Amazing stay

Amazing stay. Communicate with host was top notch. Super clean and amazing access to beach. Lots of room. Condo has everything even beach chairs and umbrella. Highly recommend. Will stay again for sure.

Clean, convenient, and affordable!

Some friends and I stayed for a few days and found the property to be clean and comfortable, close to shopping, and a short walk to the beach. Communication with the host was a positive experience. Would rent again

Overall great stay!

Easy booking, Jody was always in touch and helpful with everything to make the stay go smoothly. A few things could have been done as far as cleanliness like some dishes weren't scrubbed before wash (last people who stayed), oven door had something sticky that ran down and dust but overall nothing horrifying. We just rehashed some stuff and wiped some things down. View was great, very short walk to the beach which was fantastic. Community was nice, very close to many attractions and restraunts. Thank you Jody for letting us stay at your condo. We had a great time and memories to last a lifetime.

Destin

The best part of rental was the beach access and the private beach. The beach was not crowded in our area and was so nice. As far as the condo it self it needs some work and updating. I don't expect to have perfect new furniture but everything had seen it's better days and had a lot of age. The washer was leaking water and had rust when you opened the lid. The dryer would not dry unless it was a very small load. Only one tv remote worked for all the TV's. I could go on but you get the point. Another issue we had was the check out procedure. We were not aware that we had to pay a cleaning fee and then clean the place before we leave. We have stayed in many places in Destin and we always have the typical check out process. But I have never had to vacuum floors, sweep floors, wash and put up towels, clean all dishes and put up, wipe down the condo, and start washing sheets. So a crew can come in and put sheets in dryer and then make up beds and leave. The bathrooms were not cleaned when we arrived. Me and my wife will not be staying in this condo or complex again.

Great Time!

We spent a week in this condo. 6 people and we had plenty of room. In previous reviews there were complaints about roaches, construction noise and the kitchen not being well stocked which had me a little nervous. We had no issues with any of these. The location is great and the walk to the beach is very short and easy. However we had some issues with the chair/umbrella rental company guys. They have signs up that say no canopies and will come literally yell at you for putting one up. The private beach entrance is literally only that, the property to the left belongs to the condos on the beach and has private property signs up and to the right the umbrella guys are pretty nasty. Bring umbrellas instead of a canopy and you should be fine to set up behind the chair/umbrella company with no issues. The only negative feedback I have is the amount of stuff that has to be done before check out. The “to do” list seems much longer than any other VRBO property I have stayed in. The cleaning company could probably use an upgrade. The beds are all a little hard and the master bed squeaks every time you turn over.

The location was awesome! A great area, with a fantastic white powder beach, beautiful emerald green/blue waters, which you can see 3-5 feet to the bottom. The waves were great for playing, boogie boarding and the likes. There are no shells here, just clean white powdery sand that does not get too hot. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the elevator with showers at the front of the complex to rinse off. Ciboney has a private gate, however, there is no private beach area. The umbrella rental company stakes out the front row and posts "no shelter or popups". We set our shelter on Sandollars Townhome private beach, directly beside the entrance, which worked out fine. The steps to the beach are steep, with no ramps. We found the unit to be clean. The main bathroom was large enough to accomodate everyone. Plenty of hot water, but the shower would not drain. Need to send a plumber to clear the drain lines. There were plenty of towels in the cabinet for everyone. The utility room has washer/dryer and space to store beach cart. The dryer does not dry well. We cleaned airfilters but it still would not dry, probably a clog that needs to be addressed. The air-conditioner was perfect and the unit was cool. Kitchen has large fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Icemaker was slow. Buy ice. There was cutlery but only one large dull knife, no sharpeners. Need more utensils, pots/pans. Coffee maker, toaster, appliances all worked. Plenty of trash bags, paper towels, supplies. Large counter and dining table was perfect size for six. Saw a couple of roaches, hard to control, especially with neighbors. Living room was on smaller side with small sofa and loveseat. Furniture was heavily soiled, could use a thorough cleaning. Large baclony with views of ocean and grassy area. Non-stop construction. Could only hear the waves in the evening when crews went home. Jack hammers, sledge hammers, saws, alarms, etc destroyed any idea of peace and relaxation. Elevators were dirty, debris, concrete, spackle, etc. Shoes or sandals required anywhere. Pool not crowded. Water on warm side. Short walk from elevators, but could not escape the noise. Aside from minor maintenance, and refreshing the unit, a great value. Should be required by law to inform renters of construction. Constant banging, drilling, jack hammers, alarms, etc was sore point. Impossible to read book or listen to radio on balcony. Escaping to beach was only refuge.

My father, Ray moved to Destin in 1979 and we followed him thereafter to the newly discovered town of Destin. We fell in love with it and thought of it as a hidden gem. Now known to the world we have decided to share our joy with others. Jody lived in Destin from 1991- 2002 and now goes there about every 3 months to work on the rental properties and see old friends.
