Please do not book.

I never write reviews. However, the host is absolutely irresponsible and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I saw one of the bad reviews and assumed "oh well that really wouldn't happen to me" but this host is unprofessional and uncaring. I had booked this apartment 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE because I was visiting Houston from OUT OF TOWN. On the same day in the morning, I asked him how the check in would work since he didn't send me ANY information about this in the days leading up to the reservation (in fact, he did not communicate with me at all). He did not answer until literally 3 hours before my checkin - I was driving to Houston at the time with the other guests- and simply sent "Cleaning staff and backup cancelled. We do not have anyone to clean." and cancelled my reservation. Just like that. He refunded me but never even had the decency to apologize. My trip was ruined because of his irresponsibility. PLEASE do not book here. He WILL leave you hanging. look at other options with nice, helpful hosts and save yourself the stress and headache!

Price is nice but...

The neighborhood is really nice, however when we arrived there were four bags of trash outside the door. I also had to call VRBO to get should of the owner for check in instructions. The bed was broke and tilted down on the floor so we stuffed some extra blankets under that side and found someone else’s false eyelashes!! Gross!! The lighting is not good in the apartment either. But the location was nice and it was ok. Also the tv had no cable it had some weird channels but we logged into our Hulu which was nice that could happen. The lamp in the one bedroom was completely broke... not sure if I would stay here again and def don’t think I should have paid a cleaning fee when the place was not clean when we arrived.

Great host!

Wonderful location for our trip to MD Anderson. Very nice neighborhood and facility. Host is fantastic and responds easily. Would definitely stay in this unit again in the future.

The home was very clean and exactly how the listing described. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Close to Family

This location was selected solely because of family staying in the same complex. The check in process was rather difficult and instructions where emailed and not put in the app itself. Just very different from previous VRBO stays. The floors where very dirty so we borrowed a mop and cleaned the floors which helped. The beds felt uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in the mattress. The most interesting thing was the bathroom. There was significant water damage And a live plant growing out of the vent. I notified the owner as soon As we checked in and was told the plant was fake. While there were fake plants on the bathroom cabinets there is no way the plant in the vent was fake. (One of our group touched the leaves to check and the next morning the leaves had turned brown where they where touched.) Another issue was that the parking passes could not be found. We where told not to “worry” about it since we would not get towed parked in the street spots but the Location has multiple signs stating that you must have a parking pass. I found this very stressful and was disappointed that we where told not to worry about it. The apartment is also two bedroom and we where only provided one key. As it was two bedroom it seemed logical to expect to have two keys for the unit. The apartment worked for what we where doing. Had we not had family living there we would have looked elsewhere.

Amazing stay

Was one of the best properties I’ve been at! Host was nice & very easy to get ahold of . Had a struggle checking in but he was there to talk me through it. Would recommend for anyone ! Will be booking again
