Red Fish Condo D, with boat slips and pool.

Red Fish is a 4 apartment complex with a very nice swimming pool, 4 boat slips where captains can pick and drop you off, fishing pier, BBQ pits, beautiful terrace, fishing table.
The 4 apartments have their private garage, big enough to fit in two pick-ups, laundry room, 2.5 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, living room with flat screen, dining table, Wi-Fi, two separate bedrooms, each with two double beds.

The space
The Red Fish Condos are located across the street from the bait and tackle shop. And have a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

Guest access
Outside offers a communal pool and gazebo with picnic tables. There is 1 boat slip per condo that are first come first pick. Also there is a green fishing light for night fishing. Each condo has its own laundry facility located in the garage on the ground level.

Great place to stay. Easy to keep our boat in the slip and ready to go fishing. Condo was clean and worked wonderfully for us! We were in contact with Maria a few times with questions. She responded quickly and professionally.

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed here along with my sister and her husband for our anniversary trip. Contact with the host Maria was very easy and she helped with anything we needed. The boat docks were very convenient if you own your own boat. There were also plenty of supplies for cooking and it’s aslo conveniently located within port Mansfield with a bait shop right across the road. Would for sure stay at redfish condos again 😀🎣

Red Fish Condo D

I’ve stayed at the Redfish Condo D many times, but the last few years the condition of the condos has deteriorated extremely here’s a few of the problems this year. 1. No Front Door knob. To cover the hole in the door they had an inoperable deadbolt lock to cover the hole. I took a door knob from inside the condo so we could close the door without locking it. 2. No lights outside the front door or on the first half of the stairs. 3. No Cable TV 4. Fleas again this year in the condo. I inquired a few days before check in to see if the condo has been exterminated I was told it has in last month or so. 5. Dishes in the dishwasher extremely dirty. 6. 2 teaspoons in 1 tablespoon for the whole condo. 7. kitchen stove front left element, not working. 8. Toilet in bedroom on the right side continuously running water they had the valve turned off when we arrived so you couldn’t hear the water flow. Same problem we had last year. 9. Clothes dryer timer not working once you turn on the dryer it will run continuously until you turn it off. 10. BBQ pits common area, are in deplorable condition. 11. Kitchen disposal would not work. It was frozen up. We were able to unfreeze it to get it to work. 12. Kitchen sink backed up because of the dirty dishwasher and sink was extremely dirty.

Sam I’m truly sorry about your experience. I wish you would have told me so I could get those things fixed for you asap. Last reservation we had did not comment on those issues so sometimes it’s hard to know. Bbq as well as decks are getting their treatment or replacement, the lights it’s usually just a change in timer which is an easy fix, just as the garbage disposal, door knob was broken so while we got a new door knob yes we unfortunately had to put that in the meantime. As far as fleas, like I mentioned, we have not had any complains nor did the cleaning crew see anything but rest assure those issues are being addressed and fixed as we speak. I would love to make it up to you so please expect a text from me. Thank you for your feedback it is greatly appreciated!

This was my 10th stay at the Redfish and we once again thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The convenience of having out boats in the water and the lockable garage storage area to stow gear makes it so much easier to get on the water early and facilitates a quick clean up on the return. While we typical come down from Dallas in the late fall through late spring and do not usually use the pool, it is well maintained and we would have no problem diving in should the weather permit. We enjoy this property so much that should be not be able to book it we would just wait to make our trip whenever it is available..

Great stay!

The condo was perfect for our little getaway. It was roomy and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and fishing from the dock. Garage was spacious and the half bath and laundry room was convenient.

Very clean and great pool!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is nice and clean and the pool was a great spot to escape the summer heat.

Very nice Property and easy to deal with

I have stayed at this property 8-10 times in the past and always enjoy its convenience, size, and cleanliness. For folks with boats it is one of the best in the area as you can keep your boat in the water directly in front of your unit. The area is very protected with ample boat docking areas . I suggest a few more cleats on the piers for easier mooring. WE locked ourselves out of our unit and the VRBO manager very politely brought us another key. from some distance away. I would suggest providing two keys to help eliminate the issue. The garage arrangement on the bottom floor is very nice and helps in storing boat and tackle gear without having to bring all of that upstairs.. My grandson enjoyed the pool after a long day on the water!

Great Weekend

Property Manager was great. Responsive to questions and allowed us to check out late to work around our schedule. Property was very nice, clean, comfortable and exactly as described and as shown in photos. Right across the street from a good restaurant and bait/tackle/convenience store. Kids loved fishing off the dock. Garage is huge and really nice to have. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again next time.

Perfect waterfront location with a convenient store right across the street. Property has boat slips (1 per condo), common areas include a private pool for our 4 condos, BBQ Pit area, and a gazebo to enjoy a beautiful night under the sky or a sunny day. When you come back from fishing you also have a cleaning table which is perfect to prep your fish before cooking.
